Sooooo...when did you cry??
It’s a bit disappointing, but I didn’t cry. OH WAIT, I actually shed some tears when I first saw the main menu screen... now that I think about it.

What Was Your Favorite Reveal From the Nintendo Direct?
Astral Chain definitely seemed interesting. Still can't say for sure if it's something I'd like to play, but I'm definitely looking forward to learning more about it. Not that it matters, though, since I still don't even have a Switch (why am I even watching these Directs lmao).

Kingdom Hearts III theories that turned out to be true
- What is your favorite Attraction attack?
- I've just platinum'd, and I have a lot of feelings about this game
Really good and fair review! I must say I agree on most of the things you mentioned. The weird pacing was the main thing that bothered me, next being the lack of difficulty. I picked Standard just in case it would be difficult (since I didn't have time to get stuck) and that made the game truly a cakewalk. I didn't even try at some points and the game just wouldn't let me die. Can't believe this, but I was actually angry at Donald for healing me. This is just a pet peeve of mine, but it annoys me when games let me get away with not putting in any effort (there's an easy mode for a reason, standard should be at least mildly challenging in my opinion). The combat was still VERY fun and pretty smooth, so I'm not that mad. Even though it was too easy, I still had fun.- How many Battlegates have you beaten?
- Constant retconning is not good story telling (Spoilerific)
Kingdom Hearts is like a badly written fanfiction at times and yet, that's kind of what I enjoy about it, weirdly enough. Anything could happen, because there's just no logic to it at all. Not expecting everyone to love it, though, and it definitely deserves criticism. And I do agree that it takes away from some of the more serious moments, since basically anything can (and probably WILL) just be retconned anyway. The best situation would be if they could somehow find a balance between keeping it weird and random, but still establishing some basic rules that they stick to.- What you used to believe....
Not a theory, but years before I played Kingdom Hearts and had only seen bits and pieces of it, I thought Riku was a girl. I also thought there was a legit Riku/Sora/Kairi love triangle going on. Don't ask (I had seen actual cutscenes and stuff, and still thought Riku was a girl). Also, when I first started KH2 I thought Seifer was somehow related to Riku (like Roxas is to Sora). I didn't know he was from FF8. Sadly I can't remember anything else.- Moment that had you completely hooked on KH?
I think I was hooked from the very start, if I'm being completely honest here. By the time I reached Traverse Town for the first time, I was in love. But it wasn't until the year after I beat KH1 and 2 that I REALLY became completely obsessed. I think I was just watching some random KH AMVs and idk what it was but SOMETHING just clicked, and everything just escalated from there. I bought a 3DS just so I could play Days and 3D (which had just came out I think), and after I was done with those I went on to get a PSP and BBS...- Lack of postgame bosses in KH3
I agree, but then again, there's way more to explore in KH3 than in previous titles. There are the lucky emblems, photo missions (is that even what they're called?), treasure chests and secret reports (although I agree that the battlegates are extremely easy). Plus it has TONS of minigames (although personally I'm not a fan). So even without secret bosses, there's plenty to do. And didn't original KH2 only have one secret boss as well? Personally, it's fine by me that there's only one secret boss, but I would've liked it to be a bit more... interesting, I suppose? Sephiroth was always cool because he was someone we already knew, and even if you weren't familiar with FF7 he still seemed really intimidating. Dark Inferno was kinda just there, not very interesting designwise or otherwise (just my opinion, though). And it was way to easy, although so is the rest of the game. I guess it's possible we'd get more secret bosses via DLC.- What is your favorite Classic Kingdom mini-game?
I still haven't even tried any of them, apart of the ones we had in UX. Out of those I kinda liked the Karnival Kid.- How many Lucky Emblems have you found so far?
- What is your favorite world?
Purely as a world, Caribbean for sure. It was such a breath of fresh air! I just loved being able to freely travel with the ship and explore small islands and stuff. Plus, it's just really pretty, especially the water. I always get really excited about water, for some reason. But honestly, Toy Story is really close too, and if we take the world's story into account, it was probably my favorite. The toy store had so many small, fun details too. Loved just walking around and watching what's on the shelves and stuff.- What is your favorite world transformation in the Kingdom Hearts series?
- 30 Days to KH3 challenge, DAY 31!
Ooh this sounds like fun! I'm gonna do yesterday's too since I'm one day too late. 1. Probably KH3 cover... for now at least, but maybe I'm just attached to it because it's new. 2. I'm not too attached to Disney characters to be honest. But maybe Mickey? Since he blends so well into the story. Funny, since I don't really care for Mickey in Disney animations/comics.- What is your New Year Resolution for 2019?
I didn't really make any resolutions, but I'm just trying to do better in life in general. Get more motivated in my studies, do more things I've wanted to do for a long time, and things that I enjoy... 2018 was just a big downward spiral for me and I really hope I can change that in 2019.- This Or That!
that's a tpugh choice... both are good? but salt&vinegar chips are so addicting. so that? dark chocolate or white chocolate?- This Or That!
Hmmm... not sure. Maybe horses? anime or games?- (Read OP) Let's try to name as many KH characters as we can!

KH3 outfit. JRPGs or Western RPGs?- Video Games That Deserve HD Remakes
Drakengard 3, definitely. I played it a bit before Christmas and kept thinking how much better the game COULD be if it didn't have so many issues. It's not unplayable as is, and I actually genuinely enjoyed it, but the framerate is still bad and the graphics aren't good either (which is a shame since most of the character designs are really nice). Probably would never happen, though. Actually, a HD remake of Nier would also be cool to see.- What did you get for Christmas?
- Hello! :)
welcome! ^^ always great to see new people join.- What makes Kingdom Hearts special for you?
First of all, and this is a big one for me, Kingdom Hearts reignited my love for video games, and introduced me to JRPGs. I used to play a lot when I was kid, but when I got into middle school I kinda grew out of the games I had been playing and couldn't find anything new that interested me. Plus, I used to be really shy kid and had hard time picking up new things (idk if it makes sense, but I knew about Kingdom Hearts back then and I was intrigued by it, but it somehow felt ''too out of reach'' so I never even bothered with it). Then, the summer before high school my sister one day just came home with the game, and when we started playing it, we both just fell in love with the game instantly. Also, looking back I realize that I associate Kingdom Hearts with a particularly great episode of my life (probably the best time I've ever had, honestly... kinda makes me sad to think about it in a way). So I think in a way when I think about Kingdom Hearts, it also mentally puts me back into that time of my life. But then, the reason why it's REALLY special to me is a bit more difficult to put into words, because I'm not sure if I even know it myself. But Kingdom Hearts has this air about it that just makes me feel like a kid again? I think it might have something to do with how how unpredictable the story is. It kinda always leaves you guessing and wondering what's coming next. And it's gotten to a point that I don't really care that it's honestly not the most well thought-out story out there, or that there are plot holes and inconsistencies. I just always have such a good time with Kingdom Hearts. I love the characters, I love the lore, and I love the gameplay in most of the games. Kingdom Hearts just makes me happy, and in the end that's what matters to me. Wow, I guess I just ended up writing an essay... I hope it made at least some sense.
