The Traverse Town/Hollow Bastion FF crew always had the most interesting side story in my opinion.

Meh. He was ruined for me when he copped out, and started to do 6packshortcut videos.

The game is very short, and tries to change the entire complexity, and tries to make the ENTIRE series irrelevant through. It is the only game in the series that start to end, isn't it's own story. I've made an argument that you could start on any KH game, 1-6, and have a pretty good understanding of the game. It has a defined start, and end. I feel DDD is honestly just an extension game. Trying to introduce time travel, this late, and through the unseen is just ridiculous. You can bring back, Xehanort, I have no problem with that as explained in recoded, but why does he have to fill himself through 13 periods of time, and make these games, and individual Villains, who were great in their own, redundant. In KH1, The Disney Villains were the villainous crew, and Ansem was the true perpetrator, with Riku being manipulated. Great crew of villains. In COM you had the traitorous villains within the organization. In 2 you had the actual organization. And BBS had Braig, Vanitas, and Xehanort. So why do all these have to be a part of "motion set in time." Why can't you just have Xehanort come back, and quietly form his crew? The gameplay in DDD and BBS is pretty awful compared to the other games. Boss Staggering is basically gone, and the combo has been replaced by a command. Now, to be fair, I'm still fairly optimistic, so some of the bad things don't bother me as much. I do enjoy 5/7 games, so I'm really hopeful for kh3.

I can't pick just one, so I won't. Sora sacrifice. Roxas and Axel's final conversation in 2FM. Xion's Death. Kairi's grandmas story is probably my non traditional one.

Pretty sure the leaks fake, but let's talk about the real issue. An 8 minute video on this garbage? Really?

It's a poor port, no question about it. Doesn't mean it's not worth buying, but it's a true statement we deserve better, and why KH3 shouldn't be rushed.

Kh1 Sora is one of the best characters in the series. Post kh1 Sora has been manipulated and runs off emotion, but it's hard to watch. In Re:com he was running off pure emotion to seek Namine, missing clear indicators of "something fishy". In 2, he only wanted to find Riku, and Kairi, and ignored logic often just being "do Sora, Kill them Sora." In 1, he may have been running on emotion to find his friends, but it was combined with logic based off experiences. He understood that he had to seal the keyholes (including key ones like HB), had an inkling that Kairi was around him somewhere, he knew his heart was stronger than Riku's, and Riku turned dark, even though Riku was his best friend, knew he had to stop him, but still wanted his friend back in the end, instead of in kh Com where he thought Vexen was controlling Riku. He also thought of the consequences of defeating Ansem, and pondered what would happen. What I'm trying to say here is in Kh1, Sora thought things through deeper, and developed with a certain hint of subtly, and after this, his effects are dramatized, and made him arrogant, rather than a character who questions, and ponders things.

Ven was pretty raw, and Xehanort was very frustrated with him so he wasn't great (still wasn't at the start of the game.) Terra and Aqua just a pure guess, but I swore remember seeing something about them being 20 something.

There's no confirmation, but I do believe Terra and Aqua are in their 20's, and if Ven was the same age as Sora, he'd be 10 in that scene, and 14 at the start.

Don't think this forum has this problem, though could see the Youtube community and even reddit being ridiculous. We're all pretty realistic here with the exception of a thread or 2 every now and then. Never been a fan of the X-keepers, but he seems reasonable, and looking through video history, he's not sucking the teat dry of KH. Actually sounds like he's gone almost full circle to the speed running angle. Almost like going from republican to democrat.

Play some of the FF games. Might give you some enhanced enjoyment if one of your favorite characters makes a cameo in KH3.

Maleficent used to be a good villain. Then they made Pete her sidekick and it became comic relief.

Not in order of dice. Darkness (Guaranteed) 1. Xehanort 2. Xemnas 3. Ansem SOD 4. Braig 5. Isa 6. Young Xehanort ------------------------- (Highly Sensible) - Much evidence 7. Vanitas (Xehanorts Puppet, and appears in a DDD cutscene) 8. Terranort (Obviously Xehanort has already possessed Terra, and even said "another on your list belongs to me now" most likely referencing Terra) 9. Riku-Ansem (Another possessed form of Ansem, and would make sense to see Riku face his former self. I don't think it will be Repliku just because Riku-Ansem makes more sense as an already possessed form) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Low evidence) 10. Luxord (the dice+ probably the least in depth character of organization, and had no flaws of treason or weakness.) 11. Marluxia (Marluxia has been subtly hinted with the flower thing, and in my opinion was one of the stronger characters in the game. Middle aged Xehanort (In some form. I'm not thinking the apprentice Xehanort, since that's technically Terranort without his memories, though this could be a form. Since there is a young Xehanort, many speculate somewhere between old coot+ young pup. 13. Hm... I'll go less boring here and say Xion. My only insight is that she is a puppet, and Xemnas did tamper with her. 7 guardians of light (Guaranteed) 1. Sora 2. Riku 3. Mickey --------------- (Likely) 4. Aqua (They have to go save her in the ROD, to save the others.) 5. Ventus (Only Aqua knows where he is located. Only way he is not a light is if The darkness's are able to locate him.) 6. Kairi (thought about putting this one up for debate, but I really think they are tired of making her princess peach. She is set to be training, and we may see some of her in 2.8. Even Yen Sid said we need a new kind of power) (Up for debate) 7. Lea (A fan favorite, and does develop a keyblade. He is also interested in the keyblade, and was given a decent amount of depth of in DDD, and throughout the whole series as Axel. I think he could have a very interesting story in 3 with just having the keyblade, finding Roxas and Xion, and dealing with Isa.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Others) 8. Terra (Obviously one of the trios, and maybe the strongest brute force character. I just don't think he will be one because I think he will be a darkness.) 9. Roxas (Strong dual Keyblade wielder, has the most interesting story in the series, has a reason to fight.) 10. Xion (Probably not, but could be brought back if they can't locate Aqua+Ventus.)

1. There's no guarantee or time slot. Japan will probably get it, but we don't know, and I could see it coming out next year. 2. Honestly no clue. December would be my best guess. They said the length of 1 world, but that can be interpreted in many ways, and is really just an estimate. 4. We'll probably play in the ROD, but I can't imagine just being there because that would be very vanilla world design. 5. I think everything you mentioned will probably be there. The whole thing is meant to set up Kh3, so they can change what they wanted to do since 2013 a bit, and will probably have a scene in DDD (maybe with ventus, or aqua.) New keyblades/everything likely, but no 2fm since half the collection will be new. 7. The movie will add more depth, and make more sense than playing through the game. The game had some story, but was told in a MMORPG style. It's not going to be the same as the recoded and 358/2 days remakes. Plus it is suppose to add more, and reveal more about it. 8. It will certainly be done by the time KH3 comes out, IF it comes out for the U.S. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9. Nope 10. Most popular. Not sure Frozen is a great fit, but it is popular at this time and I think it will be in the game. Also Star wars(which I actually think fits perfectly) is hugely popular right now, and will probably be in the game. (BTW I have no problem with this. This is how they did it in the 1st game.)

Hmm.... Never thought of it like that. That's why I like this board, expanded thinking. However, I still think I'm going to stick to my original point, since they have countlessly tried to locate Ventus, but couldn't, and only Aqua can locate the body, which Xehanort would not have access to. Still wouldn't rule it out though since it was a huge objective for the Organization to find Ventus.

I don't believe Master Xehanort will be the one to wield the X-blade simply because he is not the strongest character in the series, or even the strongest Xehanort and so I don't think he is going to be the final boss. He gave up his body for a reason, to acquire a better vessel. His true strength resides in his undenying wit, surpassing even Master Yen Sid, as the wisest character in the series. He does possess some nice power though, such as the ability to freeze Ventus, or incredible quickness, however he was defeated by Terra. Terra is maybe the strongest brute force character in the series, but I wouldn't argue he is the strongest character, just a good vessel for Xehanort.

Differing opinions are important. I love 2 and it's 1b on my fav KH games, but it's certainly open for criticism, and could stem the ongoing problems for the rest of the series. I have some pretty unpopular opinions on BBS, but I can still respect both sides of each spectrum.

There's some debate of Lea vs Terra. I think one of them will be the final guardian, but my guess would be Lea. I know it seems that they tried TOO hard to LEAn (see what I did there, incredibly lame) in that direction, and they like to throw twists, but I just can't see them not making him one. Also Terra is possessed right now, and Xehanort even said, "But Sora, and another on your list (referring to Terra) belong to me now." I think Terranort is a likely 13 member. Obviously I'm sure you can argue the other way, and am in no way saying I guarantee this is true.

Trying to make it complicated, or playing for the future. Also too much emphasis on TAV.

I'll add one more point. I think the new series should start simple like the 1st game. Go back to your roots. Trying to over complicate it will lead to guaranteed failure.
