One could also argue that it was more for self-preserving, like with the alternate protags running around destroying other dimensions while thinking that theirs was the prime dimension. (Granted, the main dimension actually is the prime one, but it's still protecting their own dimension at the expense of others.)

But yeah, it's stuff like this that makes the game great

Eh, it's really just the character models that don't look all that great. The environment visuals look great, and are much more colorful compared to those of its predecessors. Plus, Fallout 4 improved majorly on various game mechanics from Fallout 3/New Vegas. So while the character models do look pretty bad, everything else is fantastic.

I'd have to say that this game's story is probably more darker than Abyss' story, especially with the bad ending.

If that's the case, then why not create statuses that are light-hearted, and sensitivity free? That way you don't have to worry about being hurt.

I have gotten that so many times outside of gaming as well as in gaming. I just hold fast to my opinion and mentality. I too hate it, but I make it quite clear that I will think and focus on what I want and you can't tell me different.
