Might be. I've heard they do that for other devices as well, so that people would buy more... like, they set them to break down after a certain time. Still, not sure if it's actually true, but it wouldn't really surprise me.

Do you live near a Kohl's? It's a clothing store, but they're good about hiring volunteers near the holidays. You don't even have to interview! You get paid, and they'll keep you as long as you are needed, possibly even longer. I did it last year, and it was great.

Oh so is that where you got hired at? I think I do live near a Kohl's. Wait so if they hire for volunteer do they bump you up to part time

No, I got hired somewhere else for now, but I when the holiday comes I will try to get back in there. And yeah! It depends. Sometimes if you're hired as Holiday Help, and you work very well, they will keep you. But you must be seen as an efficient worker of course.
