    Like an 8 for me. The combat is silky smooth and gorgeous though it seems a bit simple (probably just for the demo) and it has these weird shmup-y elements that I'm not a fan of. (Never played the first NieR so I have no idea how similar it is to that.)

     

    Still, it's super fun and has really well paced combat. If you played Metal Gear Rising, this is very similar in all the right ways.

    From what I've played and seen, it's basically Uncharted with zombies and crafting (also supposedly great writing, but I personally think the story is pretty mediocre). I doubt the sequel will be much different.

     

    I'm guessing that because the PS4 Pro has been getting such negative press, they wanted to really wow people with a bunch of new announcements, and apparently it worked, for most people.

    Yeah, I noticed there was a big holiday sale right now. Honestly, I'm mostly just holding out until after Christmas; my family is likely to be getting me video games cuz they're nice and they'll be friggin' pissed if I buy the same game they already bought me.

    If you ever want to win an argument on the internet, just lock the topic before the other person gets the chance to respond. It's effective and makes you look totally cool and respectable.

    The topic should not have been locked, I agree. I'm going to work out what happened here and make sure that it doesn't happen again, and instead constructive discussion is allowed to take place.

     

    In future please escalate this in a proper way, ie. first to a mod, then the leader mod, and finally to me if you think things are still unfair. We won't always see statuses like this.

    I still can't believe Dragon Quest VII 3D and VIII 3D are getting translated... Pokemon RBY also look amazing. Hope that SGC come next.
