Sure, their playthrough of BBS may be their first time playing it, but they should've remembered that Hollow Bastion is Radiant Garden, instead of asking if it was from something they knew? I know who Cynical is. His videos do not appeal to me at all, or the any of the X-Keepers videos. Cynical is also guilty of reporting fake news, anything to get the views I guess.

He's also the guy who said it doesn't matter how long we've waited for KH3 and doesn't care if it's cancelled for a reboot that would basically be erasing all the experiences and stuff we have gone through.

2.9 just sounds really ridiculous. If it's a DDD remake, they could just name it something relating to DDD. If it's a new game, 2.9 just sounds like a weird and confusing name, especially since there's already a 2.5.

I'm fairly confident it's just a temporary code name (for lack of a better term) so I wouldnt worry too much about that, once it's revealed and we know what it is we'll most likely get a better name.
