  1. In anticipation for the upcoming D23 I've been going a few of the old details and reached an interesting dilemma; should new worlds follow the traditional formula of following the world's film events with the inclusion of Sora and co to the plot or as was revealed by Roy Conli at the last D23 have a new world world with a post film plot? Looking at what worlds people are hoping for further raises the question, since we know some film's plot would fit into the KH Jigsaw perfectly such as Traeasure Planet/Frozen etc the list goes on. However I personally wouldn't be against more post film worlds. It would allow some worlds where Xehanort's reason to interfere would be cloudy to understand and it would make the worlds more unique too. That saying, I feel we should have a fusion of both formulas in order to truly mix up the worlds
  2. I know what you mean, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Roy Conli yet again and I'm all for a Treasure Planet world, but I do feel a Star Wars world could be on the horizon, I mean it's only two months till The Force Awakens is released, plus the Star Wars hype in general, I kind of feel an announcement would be a mercendise dream, same as Frozen since we know a second film ( whether you like it or not Hahha) is coming out. If/inevitably a frozen world is released, I would like something along the Big Hero 6 world based after the movie
  3. this could be unintentionally funny at this rate, I mean it's meant to be obvious to us; but it's a common ploy to make characters unaware of their surroundings so they might be be deceived by the actual traitor, resulting in us cringing at their actions- on a serious note I can easily see the 6th apprentice manipulating one of the others.
  4. E3 seemed like yesterday haha how has d23 come so quickly? On a serious note, the more visits per world the better, what odds are you offering on frozen or Star Wars being the d23 world?
  5. Thing is despite the information we do have, we still barely know anything about the game. I mean we don't know if we will have multiple world visits ( I know we have more worlds than KHII), multiple playable characters etc. Hopefully D23 answers a few questions! I have no idea how they reveal the GoLs and SoDs, though I expect to see the likes of Xigbar and probably Ansem/Xemnas frequently tormenting Sora and co. They might have reveals in different worlds for the SoDs and despite the GoLs looking certain, with Nomura nothing is certain, so perhaps we could have a bombshell at the end or something?
  6. If Nomura is leaving the 'reveals' to the end then how big is this game? I mean 0.2 BBS was meant to be part of KHIII. That saying, I personally find it a anti-climax if everything is left to the end, Id prefer a gradual reveal throughout the game and going back awhile in the conversation about dialogue revealing identities, always remember we could have cutscenes with no voice acting, like we've had in previous titles if Nomura is dead set on completely hiding identities
  7. Look if they actually get the names of the characters right, don't assume characters are garbage and hated by a majority, then that's something. However I think we have more of a chance of Xehanort singing a musical in Atlantica than to hope for too much.
  8. Also what is interesting is the fact Aqua looks likey to not escape the RoD as some people thought prior to the interview. However all of this only creates more questions than answers atm, I mean Ven's situation can be solved if the damaged fragment of his heart in Sora is returned. Though I am confused how Aqua will think of a way to save Terra? All of a sudden these ' unknown memories' are a lot more mysterious. On a side note- 0.5 would have been fun, especially if we played as Apprentice Xehanort ( Terranort) in the build up to Radiant Garden falling to darkness
  9. I think a new trailer is a given, just what it'd be is what gets me, I'm expecting a world announcement ( either of Frozen, Treasure Planet due to Roy Conli, or due to the build up to the Force Awakens, a Star Wars world). Now if we get a new world. Announcement, will they show that world in a trailer or Big Hero 6/Kingdom of Corona? Other than that I'm expecting more feature news etc and some 2.8 news. However with exactly a month to go, bring d23 on
  10. Ah cool, so it's just Mickey alone?
  11. I've been reading over a few of the recent interviews and I have been continually pondering over who this encounter actually is? I have a small list of potential candidates for this role. ( I decided to leave the ' unknown memories out of this as I have no clue where to even start there). 1) Ansem the Wise- this does seem likely due to the fact that Aqua does talk to him during Blank Points, so we know contact has been made between the two, however if it is Ansem, then why the secrecy as it's common knowledge they meet? Which makes me kind of eliminate him 2) Mickey- the fact that Mickey has secrets to confess practically confirms Mickey knows at least a fraction what happened to Aqua in the Realm of Darkness, also time wise, we know he was seeking the Kingdom Key D in the Realm of Darkness. So this actually makes sense, and could be used as a device to expand both Aqua's tragedy/role and Mickey's own character development 3) someone from the original keyblade war- be it Ephemera, the foretellers, the Master of Masters etc, this could work in the capacity of a foreshadowing to the destruction of the Keyblade war/ another character also wishing to escape the Realm of Darkness. I do fear this would be more for linking Chi/Backstory to the series though more than being realistic This is where I have a few I admit far fetched ideas, starting with: Heartless attack- This would be a slight anti-climax, but perhaps the ' encounter' would be another final battle kind of thing, though personally I would find this lucklustre. 2) Mysterious Figure???- similar to other games. A random figure either finds her or vice versa, with either the person being revealed or the identity being left to KH3, I wouldn't mind this so much as it would be another interesting aspect making us want to play KH3. just to add spice to this, perhaps have the figure fade away with a cryptic message about Terra and Ventus, forcing Aqua to stay in the RoD to try and find him again rather than escape with Mickey out of fear etc
  12. if we really want to continue this, why not have a party of Mickey's initial dislike to the darkness caused by his brother's fall, or if that is too far fetched, why not let something happen in the Realm of Darkness? Just because it might be sad, it doesn't mean it should be avoided, I'm hoping Aqua's ' encounter' is a heavy hitter in some capacity rather than for plot purpose alone and also Mickey's encounter to have some real significance
  13. Whilst many won't, I agree with you. My issue is that Kingdom Hearts Mickey is not the same as other versions of Mickey, the KH Mickey has his own personality, experiences and ambitions. Whilst he is a good character, I think all the characters should experience an element of ' change' I mean we know Sora the most happiest guy will become more Mature, so why not flesh out Mickey as well? Whether it be making him more dark or making him as a character have an element of tragedy too? This can only increase the climax for KH3.
  14. I think I was optimistic when I voted for 3, but I hope this isn't at all rushed. I mean there is a lot to cover, all 6 apprentices should be given a decent viewing time ( especially the one who didn't become a foreteller as I would be willing to bet that dude was the original owner of Xehanort's keyblade). Not only that, but nobody really has an idea who the Master of Masters is and seeing as this guy will no doubt have an impact on KH3 he needs ample viewing time too. Then there's the issue of whether or not the first keyblade war will be shown too in this film, when you consider all of this and the importance this story has on the series, the longer the film the better really otherwise we'll only have more questions than answers
  15. Exactly, it was done in a tasteful way which not only confirmed as you said various new worlds, but showed the other side to the first kingdom hearts, I mean until Hollow Bastion, we all assumed they were the main threat not Ansem SOD
  16. I know Sora is our boy and everything, but I seriously hope the final battle isn't just Sora defeating every single seeker of darkness, otherwise the other 6 seem redundant. In order for a realistic sense, allow each member to fight their own ' personal fight' or if people find the idea of Ven vs Vanitus dull again, have Ven vs Riku Replica etc to spices a few things up. I believe everybody should shine ( pun not intended) and the worst case scenario would be seeing battles in cut scenes and not being able to actively participate
  17. Totally depends on what worlds we get and where they go with the world: atm I think we can assume the following: 1) Rock Titan 2) Mother Gothel 3) Baymax 1.0 Corrupted Next few are villains who I think have a high chance of appearing, these are: 1) John Silver ( Treasure Planet)- with the twist of him being redeemed at the end like in the film 2) Hans ( Frozen) 3) Sid/Zurg depending on what film ( Toy Story/TS2) 4) Shere Khan ( The Jungle Book) 5) Darth Vader ( Star Wars) Those I would love to see are: The Horned King Yzma Ratigan
  18. With the plot twist of Xehanort releasing an army of chefs from the future and the X-Blade being the ultimate cooking utensil
  19. It was suggested by Data Ansem that she is among the people that who were deemed lost forever, but can be saved. I think at the top of my head he referred to her as ' treasured memories'. Also this could kickstart the whole debate again whether or not she can wield a keyblade due to being Kairi's nobody etc and the way things are going, everyone seems to be getting one ( unchained chi pun not intended). Also who wouldn't want to hear Namine's Theme again?
  20. It will turn out that Xehanort is only starting the Keblade War to save Sora from his Mum's cooking
  21. At long last, we'll finally know what she was cooking on that fated day haha
  22. Something has been bothering me. In all the KH games the secret boss has foreshadowed the next game: 1) KH- Mysterious Figure- was Xemnas the main antagonist from KH2 2) KH2 final mix- the Lingering Will turned out to. Be Terra a main protagonist from BBS 3) BBS- Mysterious figure- turned out to be Young Xehanort, the main Antaginist from 3d. Now we come to 3d where the secret boss was Julius. The pattern seemed to have ended. I mean it didn't seem to add up to foreshadow the plot. However Julius as has been mentioned comes from the short ' The Runaway Brain'. I won't spoil the complete plot, however it does portray Mickey in a ' darker sense'. Now we have been told that after 3d Mickey confesses secrets he had previously kept hidden. Let's go back to to 358/2 days and KH2. Mickey is not unfamiliar to making secrets, however as in the case of Riku, that was almost understandable. Now if people remember in the original BBS Volume 2 trailer we saw Mickey in the Realm of Darkness with the Star Seeker keyblade, so one would feel Mickey either ran into Aqua or found out what happened. Now seeing as they are friends, you'd think she'd be rescued too etc So that hints at something utterly tragic potentially in the makings here, now going back to the original theme about secret bosses foreshadowing, could Julius represent the ' dark secret' Mickey is going to reveal to Sora etc? If so, this begs more issues, such as what does he know? Why didn't she escape? Has she escaped? What does Xehanort know? Who will save her? The list does go on. Thanks for reading and I hope this makes sense to people
  23. I honestly have no idea, I mean Mickey has always appeared as a caring character so I don't think anything like him leaving her behind on purpose will happen, but Mickey was in the RoD for a period of time and in the old BBS volume 2 trailer we saw him in there with his star seeker keyblade, so it woukd make sense- yet something tragic has had to have happened for the secret to be made, I mean Riku didn't want Sora to know he had taken Ansem's form so I feel some thing on par has happened. Also if Mickey is recalling this, he must know what's happened to her otherwise he'd be in the blank ( sorry about the pun). Yet why in 3d did he show ignorance when discussing his guardians with Xehanort? Yeah I agree, things must have got a hell of a lot worse for her and this is making us question Mickey now pretty badly
  24. I mean it's not the first time Mickey has kept secrets in this series, so say he made a promise to Aqua like he did with a Riku, what could possibly be so bad that Aqua wanted to be kept hidden secret?
  25. Very Intereting theory, quick question though, if you are taking the conversation at face value and Aqua has escaped , then would you feel Ven is also awake? If you believe Terra is the only one left to go and also I don't know if you saw it or not the blurb translated with the game says ' mickey confesses secrets that were kept' why would Aqua's return be kept hidden? However a really interesting theory and well thought out
