  1. I went with Roxas' but they are all. So great. Aqua's, Xion's and the Sora one with the KH1 cover artwork are all very close.
  2. That's two Chain of Memories ones, two DDD ones, two Days ones, one for coded, one for khux/khx, and two BBS ones. Are they actually acknowledging the games that aren't KH1 and KH2 in this stuff now?? I'm glad. And wow Xion's and Aqua's are so pretty.
  3. Trinity Limit's such a cool attack, gotta go with it. Session's the coolest looking tho, and Comet's useful sometimes.
  4. SWR trailers are an experience in and of themselves, I don't think many shows have trailers as good as Rebels. And I can't wait for all the Rebel Alliance stuff, honestly. Ever since the show began I've been waiting to see the Alliance be formed and it feels so CLOSE now.
  5. I don't think we would be able to customize the Disney characters besides DG and maybe Mickey if they extended it to party members, but having that feature would be fun, even if I wouldn't use it even if I did wind up being able to play the game.
  6. The Nobodies are under Xemnas' control. He wouldn't send them to get in the way of Roxas when Roxas was working for them. But Heartless are weaker than Nobodies, so I guess when Xemnas sends Nobodies after Sora they just kinda... take over the city, at some point? Twilight Town was a place where Roxas collected Hearts the most at first, but he went there a lot less by the end of the year. So maybe there just weren't a lot of Heartless there anymore by then, and then Nobodies didn't have trouble basically taking over.
  7. Okay, but consider: different people think different things make a movie good, and character interaction is important to me, regardless of whether or not you disagree. And really, no matter how many Star Wars movies come out, no SW movie will ever be as good as Siege of Lothal, or the Umbara arc, or the Order 66 arc, or Twilight of the Apprentice...
  8. My favorite thing about SW is character interactions, it's why I fell in love with The Clone Wars as a kid, and why Rebels is my favorite thing to ever come out of the franchise. Luke spends the entirety of ESB away from Han and Leia, who also get separated by the end of it, and the two of them don't really interact with anyone besides Lando, even if I adore him (because the OT treats Chewie as window dressing instead of a character). RotJ isn't much better about the characters interacting (though Luke and Vader are so, so good there). AotC and RotS suffer the same issue, more or less. TPM, ANH and TFA all have plenty of character relationships and I adore all of them (esp Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, Padmé and Anakin, Luke and Han, Rey and Finn, Rey and Han and Han and Chewie), Rogue One is all about its core group, plus Jyn and both her father and Saw. It's different, and I appreciate it so much more. TPM and TFA are mostly tied, but I'm feeling TPM more recently. ...and that was way deeper of an explanation than anyone wanted.
  9. As I am generally of the opinion that a game called "Kingdom Hearts III" only exists because fans wouldn't shut up about wanting it, I don't really see KH3 as a bigger game than 2.8, honestly. There will be more content, but it's not inherently a bigger thing in SE's mind just because the fandom wanted the game for seven years before it was announced. 2.8 is the first time we'll get new content outside of handhelds in a decade. It's definitely a big thing.
  10. TPM all day, every day. Though TFA is a close second and I also adore ANH. Rogue One's cool. The others are... Kinda boring. Why is The Clone Wars movie not an option, though? Had a theatrical release and all.
  11. 100% on both DS games. 100% on the vanilla version of KH1.
  12. I... actually didn't know this was a thing until seeing this topic just now. Huh. The movie was pretty good - certainly the best writing anything Naruto-related has had in years, though I also liked the Gaiden thingy focusing on Sarada - so I'm a bit interested.
  13. If we're talking about the first KH game, it's pretty good. I played it young, and it has a nice, simple story that doesn't make much sense but doesn't have to either. It's one of the weaker titles, but that has to do with the KH games being pretty good overall. The franchise? Second only to Star Wars in "franchises I have a strong emotional attachment to". Disney owns both, and as such it also owns my soul. It's a thing.
  14. So according to this poll we can all agree that the Organization gets the best themes right? Lol. Went with Xion, BTW. But Roxas' is a close second.
  15. The issue with the Replica program is that it needed Vexen, so because Axel killed him too soon, it was never finished. Xion was too erratic, and Xemnas outright says they could have controlled her better if Vexen hadn't died. It's possible the Xehanorts will try to use Even, sure, but he already has 12 Darknesses and the program isn't finished. It's likely a lot easier to corrupt one person than depend on an experimental Program. As for who are the Darknesses, I would guess none of them will be particularly surprising. Vanitas likely is, same goes for Luxord's somebody. Not sure who else, really.
  16. I'm most excited for the scenes in Mysterious Tower that are set at present time because yess, but I don't fully consider that to be a world as it's not playable, so playable Destiny Islands is just exciting.
  17. That TWEWY reference's so nice. That's a great game, BTW, definitely one of NDS' best. I like we're getting more than just the TWEWY characters. Still hoping for a TWEWY extra boss in KH3.
  18. I have no idea how much or little sense this makes, but whatever. It's unclear what the Key to Return Hearts DOES, but assuming it... Returns Hearts, it will likely be used to help Ventus (whether it's a physical item, a spell, a person, whatever). But there are three people in a situation very similar to Ventus', with one key difference. None of them have bodies for their Hearts to be returned to. Ansem the Wise makes it clear that the last thing needed in order to save everyone is his own research on Hearts. And what was a huge part of Ansem's research? Data. We are likely not done with data worlds, and Ansem has already created two, the Tron copy and the digital Twilight Town. Data doesn't dream and data has no own memory due to data worlds having no hearts, and as such it's easier to mess with than human beings. Since Ansem wants to help make up for what he did and what he says when talking to Riku in Dream Drop Distance, and to Aqua in Blank Points, his research has a lot to do, specifically, with the savings of Naminé and Roxas (and Xion, by virtue of her being in the same situation as them, even if AtW couldn't remember her when he put the research into Sora). So, the general idea would be to, instead of putting these three Hearts inside of a body that doesn't exist, put them in a data world instead. Growing a Heart made Data-Sora able to mess with the system enough to get his own data Keyblade created from his own Heart as opposed to created by someone else like his original one. As such, if you put a Heart with a memory of how they used to look like, and the memories of those connected to them, the data world would be manipulated into creating a body for that Heart. If it's possible to digitalize a real body into data without issues - this is done multiple times in KH2, between Space Paranoids and the data Twilight Town - it should, then, be just as possible to turn a data body into a real one just by reversing the process. And voilà, three new bodies, created from the Hearts of Roxas, Xion and Naminé. Thoughts?
  19. Yeah, I have no idea why so many people are thinking that. There is a lot of people thinking Sora's secret has to do with Aqua and it's like... It's way more likely it has to do with his Dream Eaters, since he went to see them. And he doesn't actually know anything about Aqua besides remembering he met her once.
  20. Did Kairi??? Speak??? I was unsure the writers remembered she could do that. BUT OH MY GOD, SORA IN THE END!! Terra vs Terra-Xehanort was a pretty good shot too, but wow am I excited to Back Cover. Actual fight scenes! And I love Ava's Keyblade so much, even the summoning animation she has looks beautiful. And I guess this answers the question of whether KH3 will have customization.
  21. I loved Pinocchio so much when I was a kid, but things happened and I ended up afraid of the movie for years (I... can't remember why?), so Cinderella became my favorite of that era afterwards. Sleeping Beauty is also amazing, however.
  22. 1. Space Paranoids 2. Twilight Town 3. Olympus Coliseum 4. Beast's Castle 5. The World That Never Was Honorable mentions for 100 Acre Wood and Timeless River
  23. Eh, I heavily disliked Port Royal, and yet people seem to love it. In that sense, Marvel and SW is fine. And really, if the issue is "live action", do a The Clone Wars/Rebels place instead, like Ilum. Ilum may or may not have become Starkiller Base, and that place looks amazing in The Clone Wars. Tho everything always looked amazing in The Clone Wars. Coruscant would be another great looking option.
  24. I actually wouldn't complain about a KH game that was also a musical. Put Roxas to be the main character on it, and have him interact mostly with, like, Xion and Naminé. This way we don't have to deal with Donald singing, and a lot of Disney movies are musicals. All in all, it would WORK. As long as they got someone who actually writes musicals to do the songs, of course. Really, Kingdom Hearts needs to accept that it's a Disney property and have all the music that can be expected from Disney properties. As far as love stories go, I wouldn't be against it, but they need to have the characters actually INTERACT with each other.
