Illus. Vivi VIP Challenge, Flotsam & Jetsam Union Cross, Daily Challenge Event (7/9)
Isn't it more like $30 for Vivi since they only give out four copies? You can't even guilt it with only one week of VIP... I totally agree, VIP should cost $5 max. The first time I checked out the cost of jewels, I was shocked.

All Unanswered Questions in Kingdom Hearts
Xemnas must have told him. After all, through Saix, he gave Axel the task to search for it in Castle Oblivion. I think Nomura himself stated that this was more of a wink to a player rather than trying to imply that Terra could look into the future. I don't have the source though. The same happens with Sora and Roxas though? I mean this isn't a definite answer, but I would suggest that in the same way Ven's heart was buried deep inside of Sora's body (so it could go on to Roxas), Terra's heart is probably buried deep inside of Xehanort's heart which could make it impossible to form a separate Nobody. But since they were inside of Terra's body at that time (and Xehanort's heart seemed to change at least some physical features of him), Xemnas was created, who in turn looks a little more like Terra again, at least compared to Apprentice Xehanort. Or Nomura just retconned it in BBS because he wanted to make the "Terra turns out to be Ansem/Xemnas" twist and needed aging Nobodies for it. Xemnas also ages (compared to Terranort or Apprentice Xehanort) and even Braig/Xigbar starts to grow some grey hair. Also, Axel likely only grew his heart when Roxas came around, so he must have aged even before that. I mean he might have another reason, but it looks just like he hurried back for his training. Yen Sid probably told him to go so he could talk to Kairi by himself first. An assumption, too, but Terra/Xehanort probably felt Ven in Castle Oblivion, in a similar way Roxas did. How he would be able to know the name is beyond me though, probably only so the audience isn't confused. They don't necessarily have to be connected to the MoM Or actual eyes or anything. I hope it was okay to answer this! I mostly only have assumptions based on the games, I am pretty positive about the first two answers and the Nobody answer, though.

[2.8 interview spoilers] Theory: Freeing Ventus's heart
I've been thinking a lot about how Ventus is going to be woken up from his slumber, mostly for fan fiction reasons, but today I stumbled upon two pieces of information that kind of made it click for me. I'm not a big theorist, so I apologize if there are some huge flaws in my thoughts. What if Ventus's heart can only be freed from Sora with Xehanort's Keyblade? The idea came to me when I read DDD's glossary on the Keyblade. It says Adding to that, I re-read Nomura's 2.8 interview which mentioned the following: So the Master of Master's “pulled” the Keyblades out from the depths of a heart? Maybe specifically the Keyblades he granted to his students? What if those 6 Keyblades are all Keyblades of Heart and the only ones that can free a person's heart because they are 'pulled from the depths of a heart'? In BBS, we see that Xehanort frees Aurora's heart and his own heart, both with his Keyblade that we know now is definitely the one the MoM gave Luxu. The only other Keyblade known to do this is the “Keyblade of Heart” that was created by the hearts of the Princesses of Heart – but this one may have been a corrupted version of a Keyblade since it missed Kairi's heart and was forcefully created from the Princesses, so it may or may not be able to be recreated to serve this purpose once again. So I've been thinking... what if Xehanort's Keyblade is the only one able to free Ventus's heart (and maybe in addition to that Roxas's, Xion's and Naminé's)? I mean, by this theory, the Keyblades of Aced, Invi, Ava, Gula and Ira could also potentially free people's hearts, but we currently only know the location of Luxu's blade so this one would be the one everyone goes after. It's just a random thought that came to me, by no means do I want to claim that this is how it's going to go down, but I thought I could share this here!

Wait a second(0.2 SPOILERS)
Well, the long pause where Aqua is sobbing quietly and Ansem is just staring at her implies pretty much that he said the name out loud. Everything else was just to make the scene more dramatic.

Wait a second(0.2 SPOILERS)
No, Ventus is only the reason he can dual-wield, if it was about the Keyblade in general, they would've left it at *magic*. Also, Ventus is not a complete waste of space. I agree that Nomura pulls a lot out of his ass, but he does manage to connect some points rather nicely, too. Xehanort said time and time again that he takes a lot of precautions, opens up a lot of paths he may wander upon in case one of his paths closes in front of him. It makes sense for him to try a dozen ways to summon the X-Blade instead of just one and failing with it. Corrupting one person also seems a lot safer than dividing one's heart into 13 peaces to control 12 people, so it figures he would go for that first. Yes. there are sadly some plot holes with Blank Points, Aqua should've known that something is happening outside because she felt it during 0.2, but her surprise over Sora being the one who saves the worlds (a boy who is around 14-15 years old to her knowledge, just as young as Ven and, also to her knowledge, probably untrained) can be quite genuine. It even makes more sense for her to cry at the mention of his name after 0.2 because she already knows he is a Keyblade wielder and succeeded in closing the door with Mickey. Sora's hallucinations were exactly that to him. Hallucinations. He was having the weirdest dream, he recalls hearing Riku's voice, but I think he never mentions that he saw something. For all we know he might have forgotten. He might've pushed it away because he was still dealing with Roxas's pain. He just might've forgotten Aqua and Terra (he was 4 after all), he saw their faces for such a short time, he might've forgotten them long before he woke up.

[Spoilers] My thoughts about X Back Cover
I understand that they don't want to spoil anything that will happen in UX's season 2 or even KH3, that is not really my problem at all. But this compilation is called "Final Chapter Prologue" and if they already went through the trouble to produce a movie to explain the background of the Foretellers (something they could have very well done in X and UX tbh), I don't understand why they can't explain a little more. Like I said, I don't expect a thorough report on UX, but I kind of expect the movie to be understandable on its own. Like the scene with Ephemer you mentioned, they could've given other, short scenes to give the whole movie more context, glimpses into the actual Keyblade war (like a few seconds showing all wielders fighting each other), stuff like that. Maybe they refrained from doing that because the actual Keyblade war has only been shown officially in Japan and not outside of it and they deem that to be too spoilery for UX, but it would've given the entire movie a more wholesome feeling. As it is now, I would've actually preferred they finish UX beforehand and then make a good compilation movie out of it for the PS4, to intentionally leave it out so people can enjoy the game first and don't have to feel all over the place once again.

[Small Spoilers] May your heart be your guiding key
*shrugs* Of course it's only meant to make a connection between 0.2 and Back Cover. But then again, the phrase probably just died out centuries ago, probably only mentioned only in books. Or maybe it's something Mickey wasn't taught to say all the time to his fellow Keyblade Wielders, only heard about it once and that's it (and seeing as his and Aqua's heart and light is basically the only thing he can onto in the Realm of Darkness, he would be more likely to remember the phrase there than anywhere else). As to Aqua, she knows it too but doesn't use the phrase. I wouldn't be surprised if Eraqus mentioned that the phrase existed but never used it with his pupils because Xehanort follows his heart and look at the trouble this caused us...¬¬

A Possible 2018 Release Window For Kingdom Hearts III?
I actually don't see it releasing before late 2018, especially after Nomura's last interview, before that, I would've optimistically said early to mid 2018. But now that we know that they haven't touched some of the worlds and it won't be released for a "while"... yeah I'm leaning towards late 2018. This would realistically leave them heaps of time to work on everything and start dropping new game footage/trailers starting on this year's E3 (hopefully). I know that there are high stakes, especially with some quite impatient fans, but I prefer it if they take a few months more and give us a finished game instead of having to drop patches all the time.

[Spoilers] My thoughts about X Back Cover
While I certainly understand that Square doesn't want to spoil their entire UX storylines in just a movie, I, too, am kind of disappointed in the movie because it explains so little. I really hope we get some kind of a wrap up bundled with KH3 because otherwise, to hell with all compilations for the PS4 if another part of the story is still missing because it is only available for yet another console. That being said, it could've at least really caught up with X/UX's story. Compared to Days and Coded, this was a really short glimpse and I think it's really kind of hard to follow without any knowledge about X at all (and again, this was the initial idea of the game compilations - to give everybody an idea of what is actually happening in the games). Ephemer seemed really out of place, you don't even understand who he is, why he's talking to Ava. They didn't even explain the context of Lux and bangles (? spelling?) and all that, something you truly can only understand if you played/watched the other games until a certain point. And that is unacceptable in my opinion. I know that this is called Back Cover and intends to explain what is happening behind the screens - but it should at least mention what is happening on the outside to give everything context. The movie was great, enjoyable, but it lacks so, so much - as seen with the confusion here.

[SPOILER] Skuld in Back Cover?
I agree. They went through the hassle to actually recreate quite a few NPCs the way they looked in Chi, but couldn't be bothered to create Skuld? I would've been fine with just a glimpse of her when that scene faded out, but no Skuld at all is kind of cheap - as if we didn't have a major problem with female characters being neglected in this series already.

*Spoiler* Aqua meeting Terra
I think there are like 20 days from Naminé's creation until Sora steps into Castle Oblivion. Roxas was trying to reach out to Naminé and was instantly able to contact Kairi. If Naminé did something similar, she might've been able to tap into Sora's heart immediately, where she would find Ven's memories. But yeah, to be fair, this scene in relation to the Naminé scene doesn't make much sense. Makes me wonder whether that's the reason they didn't implement it, because it would make much more sense after CoM/during 358/2 Days when Naminé's rearranging Sora's memories.

[Spoilers] kh back cover luxu and master of masters discussion
The voice thing is not impossible, as seen in How I met your mother with Josh Radnor and Bob Saget. That said, I don't think Luxu sounds like Ray Chase in the last scene, but it's definitely possible that they might reveal later on that he's to become the MoM himself.

Which Kingdom Hearts game do you most want to see on the Nintendo Switch?
All of them. Just bring the Remix editions onto the switch. While a KH3 port alone would probably be nice too (along with the one for XboxOne) it really sucks for new players. Sure, Nintendo Players at least might have played some KH titles on their old consoles, but all the remix versions would broaden their player base and get old players back into the games, too (probably a lot of people who might've played one or two games and never bothered to get the others if they're Nintendo only users). It would make KH playable at home and on the go, and it has been playable on the go for 13 years after all... I think this would be a pretty good decision. It makes a whole lot of more sense to bring it back to Nintendo than to suddenly introduce it to Microsoft (at the end of the saga, too...).

[SPOILERS] A couple of questions.
The way I understood it, she is indeed looking at nothing, but her heart is connected to Terra. It's connected to Ven's as well, but since he has no ties to the dark realm, she's just plain hallucinating about him. Terra on the other hand has ties to the darkness and thus can contact her in the Realm of Darkness even though he's currently residing in the Realm of Light. I suppose she feels his presence and starts hallucinating about him and that's when she's able to communicate with him I think this just specifically meant that both are in the Realm of Light and not in the Realm of Darkness. That's her main concern when she sees her first Terra illusion. And even though Terra might not be himself, his body is safe, so his vague answer of “I think” is close enough, I guess. I'd say yes to both of that. Through Terra's connection to Aqua's heart and his own forced connection to Terra's, he was probably able to do it. I think this is more of a metaphorical thing. Even though Ansem and Xemnas exist, they are still connected through Terra and Xehanort, kinda like Sora was connected to Roxas and Roxas was able to contact Kairi. Yep, Jason Dohring did an amazing job during those last scenes! A little more emotion in the beginning and I'll be just as excited about his improvement as I am about Willa Holland's His body would actually be Xemnas, since he's his Nobody. About his heart I really am unsure – I kind of think it is in Ansem SoD, kind of locked in Xehanort's heart that mostly forms Ansem. About soul, mind, will or whatever they are going to call it, I definitely agree, it must be in the Lingering Will and I'm sure it will be the key to bring Terra back – anything else doesn't make much sense, especially after that extra dialog during the First breath concert. The thing is, Terranort became Ansem SoD and Xemnas 9 years before KH1. Unless the time is severely warped in the RoD or Aqua is actually unconscious for 9 years (in RoL time) until Mickey finds her slipping into the darkness, this wouldn't work out. Terra already says Aqua sees him the way she remembers him. Aqua remembers Terranort, she knows that Xehanort took control over him. So whenever Xehanort tries to talk through Terra to her, it makes sense for her to see Terranort and not Ansem/Xemnas. This might also be another hint that even though the Ansem/Xemnas split happened, there's still some kind of mind connection between not only them, but their entirely original selves Terra and Xehanort. At least that seems like the more logical explanation to me

- [SPOILERS] About the MoM
My mind is utterly firetrucked (lol nice censoring ), I'm not even joking. I don't think I still processed everything. The Master of Masters is truly crazy. I used to entertain the idea that it is indeed Braig, but idk man... His happy go lucky attitude is pretty much like Braig, but Braig didn't exhibit this kind of crazy behavior, nobody did and that's probably why this guy will turn out to be the most terrifying antagonist of the series to date if he truly appears in KH3 Or some distant apprentice. Just adding that here since the war was supposed to have happened many years ago, so it would make sense for some Generations to have passed. I'm not sure whether to like that or not. I like it in the way that Xehanort would finally be rendered just a tool himself, something he does to others all the time, and yet... To have the Xehanort saga end on “Hey look, actually, the big bad is not Xehanort at all!” might be a little unsatisfying. The MoM could turn out to be the main antagonist of the next saga, but then again, I don't know if that would be any more satisfying either, to tease a new saga in the old one when everyone's just looking to finally finish this saga off. (I mean not that they wouldn't necessarily play a new saga as well, but give us the satisfaction that we achieved something and that the worlds are finally safe for once!) If he doesn't, he will. I mean it has to appear and since he's a pupil of the lineage of Luxu, he either specifically knows about it or has hints about it. Maybe this eye will enable the MoM (who should've passed by now) to appear by having his eye implanted into Braig? Since he's the one person with only one eye right now. I don't think his old eye was fake or an illusion; I'd like to believe that would've chosen not to show Terra wounding his eye in that case. So like, his mind might take possession over Braig through his eye like Xehanort possessed Terra. On the other hand, there's still gotta be a reason why Braig puts up with Xehanort. Maybe that's why he so readily gives into whatever Xehanort does, because he knows, in the end, the MoM's eye will make him “one” again and that he then can follow his original plans. Maybe Braig will turn out to be some kind of reincarnation of the MoM..?- What makes me a scrub in Kingdom Hearts
Hey, that's what all of those difficulty settings are there for, right? I'm not a pro either, I know I will never make a Crit 1 run, I'm proud enough that I started a Crit run on KH2 (and it paid me off by me wasting 5 hours in the Cavern of Remembrance because I was too weak to proceed and died every - single - time right in front of the last door) and had my first playthrough of BBS not on Standard but proud (but only because I really wanted to play the Final and Secret Episode and didn't feel like playing the game twice in a row to achieve that). I'm bad with doing extra stuff that isn't enjoyable or important to the storyline - as soon as the story's done, I'm done with the game, I can go on for a few days maybe, but then I get bored. And it's fine, I had my fun, I enjoyed it. This game an easy game (but that doesn't mean it can't get challenging!) so the player can get the experience of the story, of the world this game created. That's the beauty of Kingdom Hearts that it wants to share. And if somebody wants a challenge, there's always Proud and Critical(1) waiting for them. Maybe that's even the reason why you have to unlock Critical in 0.2, so the player gets the game experience in their first playthrough and can really focus on what is happening around them instead of thinking of mechanics and strategies to win all fights.- How would you alter/improve the Kingdom Hearts series?
I don't really have an in-depth idea how to improve certain titles, just a few things I personally wasn't satisfied with. I would change a bunch of 358/2 Days. Xion is really cute, I've learned to adore her through the manga since the Cutscenes on 1.5 are kinda meh sometimes, but I was pretty pissed about the second "Hey let's just forget about her!" Plot. They've done that with Naminé, they shouldn't have done it before. Make it less repetitive, give us more interaction between Roxas and the Org and other Org members. I would've loved to see more of Zexion and Lexaeus for example, flesh out the characters a little bit more, CoM was not enough for me. Also, after KH2 threw Rokunami at us, I was expecting Roxas and Naminé to actually interact somehow? I know that he wasn't allowed to know her when KH2 started and that she escaped the Org, but I would've loved to see more happen between them. A reason for Naminé to want to meet him aside from him being Sora's nobody, a reason for Roxas to reach out for her aside from her being Kairi's nobody. In a way, they could've used plot points they did use in Days, just with Naminé. I really didn't like that they wasted this opportunity. With BBS, I wished it would've released on the PS3. More game space, more power. Give the plot more time to develop, give TAV more spotlight and interactions so we feel their friendship even more, make it longer or change something about the levels because it's kinda unsatisfying to know that you can beat the Final Boss starting at level 30 (well, not me though ). Oh and capes. Give us the capes back ( And even more in general: More. Kairi. More interactions between Kairi and her best friends. I don't even mean KH1, CoM or KH2, that I understand, but they should have communicated that Kairi knows how to wield a Keyblade and Yen Sid should've trained them all along (it would've been more sensible, too, since Sora and Riku were forced to start from square one). I can't really comment on the time travel stuff in DDD since I haven't actually played it yet (might take some time still), but yeah, I'll probably disagree with it, too Oh, and make 0.2 longer A full-length game or at least half a game. 10 hours of game time would've been nice and I'm sure they would've found enough inspiration for it, but oh well- Alja's status update
If Aqua and Terra ever make a baby, it's gonna be the most gorgeous and beautiful person in the world, hands down.- [SPOILER!] 0.2 end
Dear Lord, no. I meant Kairi's grandmother, PrinceNoctis mentioned her in the post I've quoted...- [SPOILER] Kingdom Hearts X [chi] Back Cover - Dearly Beloved
It sure is beautiful, but I miss the lightheartedness of the original track (at least in Unchained X, I don't know if the original X was different). I love the Unchained X version so much, it's so cute and sweet and much less melancholic than most of the other versions.- [SPOILER!] 0.2 end
But isn't she... dead? ._. At least she never showed up and it was never implied that she might've been sent to Traverse Town. Oh you can fall? Wow that is cool, I didn't even know that! Now that's got me really excited! - [SPOILERS] About the MoM
