Dio Brando posted a status update
So Boruto is basically the GT of the Naruto series..............glad I jumped ship after the Guy Vs Madara fight(even though I already saw the ending in the manga) cuz it seems things are getting worse and worse
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedI agree with both Smash Mega Koopa and Isaix! Although I should give Boruto a chance, just in case it's worth it... but I prefer to wait until there's more chapters, otherwise I'll catch up too quickly
Dio Brando repliedFrom what I've seen Boruto is just unnecessary. The story wrapped up at the end of shippuden and while the way they wrapped it has rather divided the fandom(Just look up how furious the NarutoXSakura shippers were that Hinata ended up marrying Naruto)it was still an ok conclusion that could've allowed them to move on to a new property.
Boruto exists for the same reason as GT......cuz sales. The same way Toei kept dragging DBZ in with DB Super, Pierrot is doing the same with N...
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedExactly, the same as the fillers in Shippuden, they're there because Naruto can give a lot more money, and they're milking the series.
Dio Brando repliedSuper has recieved a GINORMOUS amount of criticism for the bad animations and half-baked storylines. And for Boruto, like I said, the story just ended. There is no need to add unnecessary additions especially with how they pulled more Uchiha's out of their asses despite that, except for Sasuke and his daughter Sarada,ALL OF THEM ARE DEAD HOW IS THERE MORE!?
Dio Brando repliedBut it's still part of the Naruto franchise,Naruto as a character is popular and they'll eventually bring him back.DBZ was originally supposed to be about Gohan hence why the Cell Saga had him in the forefront but even then they brought Goku into the spotlight again with the Buu Saga and GT
Dio Brando repliedEven if it starts a different character it's still freakin Naruto featuring a lot of the same cast and old plot points that were wrapped up being brought back again for little reason other than to stretch it further cuz it's easier to profit from it instead of adapting a new property
Dio Brando repliedI know that I can't convince you no matter what I say and that's fine. But I'd like to suggest politely that you branch into different types of shonen animes.Give stuff like Hunter X Hunter(2011),My Hero Academia,One Punch Man,Yu Yu Hakusho a try, you'd be pleasantly surprised
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedI'm not really into anime, I just watched Naruto (because I played a game that got me hooked into the plot
) and One Piece (because I was bored enough to watch 700 episodes ), but I'm considering Hunter X Hunter and Fairy Tail. I kinda watched Bleach, but as far as I'm aware, the manga went downhill.Dio Brando repliedWell for gateway animes that might help you get into anime I'd suggest the following:Cowboy Bebop,Hunter X Hunter(2011),Neon Genesis Evangelion,Yu Yu Hakusho,Berserk
Try starting with relatively short ones that has ended so you won't get burned out very quickly
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) replied@SMK: I don't really want to get into anime now
And surprisingly I prefer longer animes, so the story progresses smoother, like I started Darker than Black and Deathnote and left those half way through, and those two are quite short.Dio Brando repliedWell I figured you'd be burned out by fillers but hey each to his own I guess
Well whenever you get into anime,at least try Hunter X Hunter(2011) and Yu Yu Hakusho........they're long enough over 100+ episodes and they're pretty good
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedDon't get me wrong, I skip the fillers, but I prefer an anime that's got 100 episodes than one that has got 20 if you see what I mean, because the one with 20 episodes is too sudden, I prefer the story to be longer.
Dio Brando repliedWell the two I mentioned above are more than 100+ episodes, there is also Roroni Kenshin
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedI watched Rurouni Kenshin already, but not all the way through, only up to Shishio's defeat. And I know HunterxHunter is long, that's why I'm considering that one. I'm just not an anime boy

You know, since the Vita is pretty much dead in the West, and most Vita games coming out of Japan now are ported to the PS4 anyway, I think Sony should just move the whole Vita library onto the PS4.

Well, the free ride is over. Now we all have to pay full AP for quests.
Isamu Kuno repliedIt's already a 88. That doesn't change the fact they we're going to have to pay 15+ AP per quest in he next story update.
Isamu Kuno repliedI'm just glad I'm only at level 142, I still get a free AP refresh for a while.

For the first time in my life, I own a Call of Duty game
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) replied@Xylek: XDDD
@Zeldablade: I only play them when there's friends around and they have the game, and that isn't very often. I played Black Ops II yesterday with friends and today by myself (trying to get better at it, I'm far behind some of my friends
), but before that I played CoD like 2 or 3 years ago . -
