    i just found out that there was a second gamecube styled fight pad other than the one by PDP. its made by hori and is called the battle pad. it actually seems better to me! :)

    i dot think its that simple. i think that they only made the adapters to please the extreame veterans and produced the fight pad on a much bigger scale to be the main source of the GCN experience. the problem with that is that it is wireless which i found no fault in but people say that it will lead to a slight input lag (which is not tollerable in competative play) i never experienced such input lag tho. :/

    I can see what you mean, but I don't think they're only going to target such a small fanbase with these. Especially considering their popularity, I'm sure they'll make another set of them.

    This sucks, I don't know what game I want to get on my birthday. Do you guys have any games that you would like to recommend to me? if so, please comment on this status. Keep in mind that I have a 3ds, wii u,ps3, and a wii, and that I got smash brothers for 3ds and wii u and I plan to get 2.5 before my birthday, not counting it as a birthday gift..

    It really is, and in my opinion, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire is the best one yet (I prefer Alpha Sapphire because I like Kyogre better than Groudon but that may just be me :P)

    I'll second Pokemon. I'd normally recommend starting with one of the Gen I games or one of their remakes, but those are only on the Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. Going off of the systems you have, I'd definitely suggest Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. I haven't played them yet, but they look really good from what I've seen.

    I'd never be able to use it, it has too few buttons, and isn't really made for something as intense as Smash. xD I used to be a Gamecube controller guy, but I'm now really comfortable with the Gamepad.

    im also into the gamecube controller. i cant ply without an analog stick xD. although those new wii u fight pads look like they are gonna solve the only problem i have with the gamecube controller, the analog triggers xD so i might pick 1 up when the money is right. i still have yet to try the gamepad tho. xD ill try it soon.

    Oh yeah, the fight pads look really cool. I might have to pick one up, since I couldn't get a Gamecube adapter, and those are apparently sold out. The Gamepad's really nice, though! I definitely recommend giving it a shot to see if it works well for you.

    Yeah, the prices for the adapters are insane. I also heard some Gamestops literally only got 2 or 3 adapters because Nintendo made so few.

     

    I really hope they'll make more, so I can get one. I'm fine with the Gamepad, but I have a lot of friends who only like to use the Gamecube controller.

    i can believe that. n fact, when i went to get mine, they didnt have any in stock. but scince i pre ordered it they had to get me one so they got more a few hour later.
