    Awesome! I bet you've enjoyed the heck out of Soul Eater! It's one of my favorite anime shows! I'll watch Naruto when Shippuden finishes up completely. Since the Shippuden manga is finished, the anime should finish up as well. :)

    Just re-watched the first trailer for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and guess what, that was a great trailer too. Just saying.

    There's no good reason to suspect this movie will be tired. It's probably wise to be cautious, but there's plenty of reason to suspect it will be better. With a new director and a new studio at its helm, I expect it to be at the very least worlds ahead of the prequels.

    Why though? All the people associated with making the prequels shit are not involved with the project. George Lucas hasn't touched it, and J.J. Abrams and Disney have both done a damn fine job with the franchises they've been given thus far. It takes a lot of cynicism to have that attitude, unless there's something I'm missing here.

    If you go into something with low expectations odds are you won't be very disappointed, as opposed to building up a ton of hype that the movie couldn't possibly live up to

    Nostalgia is fine as long as it doesn't blind people. A lot of people who grew up with the original trilogy of Star Wars movies seem to act like everything made afterwards is absolutely horrible with no redeemable qualities. I grew up with all six, and I'm excited for seven. I'll admit I was worried at first, but that's all gone now.

    It was a fine movie. And the recent Star Wars films were too. Honestly, I don't see how something like PM could suck, yet people will watch bland regurgitated movies like Transformers 4.

    There better be no damsel in distress stuff though, if this movie doesn't have competent female characters that can take care of themselves then I'll be annoyed

    The first six movies can get away with it due to a less enlightened time, but there's no excuse nowadays

    Yeah. The main character seems to be that one girl on the speeder (She's apparently Han and Leia's daughter, also). There's no official confirmation yet, but that seems likely at this point.

    They're guilty pleasures. People will see them because they can turn their brains off and see the pretty pictures but the reality of it is that the movies suck and people know it. It's like a train wreck. It's horrifying but you can't look away.

    I just remember looking her and her brother something Solo up on Wookiepedia because they were a big deal plot-wise

    Then it was announced none of that was canon so I lost interest, but if they're getting their roots from there it sounds awesome ^^

    I know that Disney said they're not canon, but I honestly still consider them canon. I usually go off of what is officially stated canon, but I feel like that whole change was a big slap in the face to everyone who worked on those pieces. :/

    If we're being honest I thought Attack of the Clones was a snooze fest but the Jedi arena scene at the end was awesome!

    None of the Expanded Universe is canon anymore but I highly suspect they will take queues from it and make something new inspired by what's already been written. For example, it's somewhat likely that the sith seen in the trailer is Darth Revan.

    Ah.....well I won't lie, the Bots themselves are certainly pretty. I kind of wish the film could have just been about them, to be honest. No obnoxious human interference.

    Tell me about it Pandy. I'm a huge Transformers fan and like I said the movies are a guilty pleasure, because despite the inaccuracies I do like how the Transformers themselves are. But as movies... yikes.

    I'm curious about how that will work. I can kind of see why people are theorizing that the new villain is Revan, so I'm excited to see that be explained in the movie if it is true.

     

    I've also seen people suggest that he's Han and Leia's son, but I'm not really sure about that.

    "The Force Awakens" it's being theorized that Revan was in some kind of stasis, and that's what the "Awakens" refers to.

    This is based off of concept art that was leaked long before the trailer, which features a headshot of a sith wearing a mask just like Revan's, and weilding the saber we saw in the teaser.

    1. thank you all for the crap load of notifications. 2 im not being over nostalgic shulk im just stating my opinion. 3 also may I add things seem to be weird between us as of late. I feel like there is this constant tension between us that will eventually erupt over what would normally be considered a small issue. 4.... well... there doesn't need to be a 4 now does there?     Me too, I adore Andy Serkis. I would definitely like to see the new movies address the ancient past from before the prequels. Like I said up above I would love to see them use Revan.

    Taking that in stride with the movies title and the speech, its being theorized by a lot of people that Revan is coming back from the past somehow or a new sith is taking inspiration from siths like Revan.

    I just can't look past the Awakens in the title, I definitely think it's going to be some "ancient evil" kind of storyline. Maybe even the remnants of the Empire will be the good guys this time without the influence of a sith.

    Lmao, then there you go. The movies have less character development than the TV series (as expected) but the second movie has the most batf***ingly crazy battle I have ever seen in any type of media I have watched.

    Alright. The Gamepad controls are actually pretty similar to the 3DS ones, if you're using that controller. The main difference is that L/R are shield, and ZL/ZR are grab.

    I think it's a new voice actor, anyway. The English dub was released today, and he sounds really different. Everyone else sounds fine, though... It's confusing.

    If the regular voice actress normally dubs spin-offs maybe she wanted more money or some other conflict like time and ended up not doing the Rock Lee thing

    As the protagonist of the series she could probably make all sorts of demands if the agreement doesn't specify all the projects she has to voice
