    Back when I was a kid, I didn't hear anyone use the hardware in terms of what console was their favorite. :/ I just meant the innocent days of my childhood, when no one cared how the game looked. xD

    Well when we were kids we didn't care, but just because we didn't care doesn't mean there didn't exist people who cared. People used to argue over whether the Sega Genesis or the SNES were better. "The SNES has a better sound chip! Multi-plat games are better on the SNES!" etcetera. Console Wars, including wars fought over hardware, have always existed.

    I still judge a console on the games it can play. If there's not a good library, why would I want the console in the first place?

    Same here. It gets annoying seeing people debate over what console is the best just because it has better graphics or whatever. I play games to have fun, not to look at pretty pictures. :/

    I enjoy good graphics and I think the hardware does matter. But I suppose it's more like the icing on the cake. Not the actual cake.

    I can appreciate them, but I don't incorporate them into my decision of what makes a good system or not. I still play and love old SNES games as much as I love my Wii U (Hate to use all Nintendo consoles and look like a fanboy, but I don't have any recent Sony systems yet...)

    My favorite consoles tend to be modern, but that's just because I personally like how games have progressed over the years. PS3 is my favorite. The Wii U looks like a good console with good hardware, but I don't want any game for it except Wind Waker HD. I do want a PS4 someday, considering there are already 6 games I want for it.

    Yeah, I personally prefer modern consoles, but I still like older ones. It helps that new ones can play a lot of older games now. xD

    Actually it's always been that way. People compared the snes's graphics to the sega's a lot. and so on and so on and so on

    For me the Saiyan Saga and the Cell saga are my favorites,unfortunately I got bored with the Buu Saga and GT was just awful

    I'm currently reading the Frieza saga in the manga, I love it so far. I'm almost done with Goku vs Frieza, they didn't keep those all in one volume for whatever reason... Still, I'm enjoying it. xD I've heard that the Buu saga is when it goes downhill, but I'll still read that one anyway. People say the same about the war arc in Naruto, but I've enjoyed that one so far.
