    I hate when guys tell me its "not normal" for a woman to play video games. They need to get over themselves. It's almost 2012, not 1800. Get with the times fellas.

    Maybe they just can't express themselves correctly. It is completely normal but it is uncommon. And that is not a prejudice but a fact that the absolute minority of the gaming society is female. So it is uncommon but not abnormal.

    It is more common than before some years. But still uncommon if you compare the amount of female gamers with the amount of male gamers.

    Why should they get mad. Frankly I think it is hot when a girl can play videogames good xD

    I get mad when they play bad.. but that is not gender related xD

    KHgirl, you're so right. Instead of admitting that they suck, they gotta make the excuse "its not normal for girls to play video games and be as good or better than guys" Really? I kicked your ass, so your gonna say that to me instead of "nice job"?? Some of them act like cavemen, and it's really annoying.

    Because it didn't happen in the video game store lol and why would I back down because someone says something ignorant to me? If anything, it's gonna push me to keep going. Im not in school to get my Bachelors in Game Art for nothin.

    You will! I had a hard time at first. I was too afraid of failing and didn't have any confidence in myself (I still have my moments), but I pushed it all out of my head and Im going for what I want! I believe anybody can do it, as long as they try and have the right attitude and dedication. Its definitely possible :)
