So, there's this place that i'm working at.
Some of the people I work with like Kingdom Hearts, which is amazing because I haven't found anyone in person to talk to about the game before.

One of them said that his older brother or friend got to play Kingdom Hearts 3 early as a beta tester or something.

This is what he told me:

- Kingdom Hearts 3 will have Star Wars and Frozen. (Frozen doesn't surprise me, but Star Wars?)
- Sora, Riku, and Kairi will be playable, and you will be able to switch between them at any time. (My guess for this is that you play Sora and unlock Riku and Kairi for later.)
- There will be some sort of collector's edition giving Sora a new outfit, and including some kind of unique Keyblade?
- You can bring party members to worlds other than their own. 
- You'll start as Roxas in the beginning again.

I'm normally very wary when it comes to misinformation, so I'm taking this with a grain of salt. I'd prefer to only believe things that appear on KH13, KH Insider, or something that Square puts together, themselves.

KHIII isn't even close to beta testing yet. Sounds like this guy was just trolling. Right now, the only worlds confirmed for III so far are Twilight Town, The Mysterious Tower, Mount Olympus, The Kingdom Of Corona, and San Fransokyo. Frozen and Star Wars are candidates, but everything that Disney has a stake in is being considered. Riku and Kairi are still in rumor to being playable. Sora will have a new outfit along with a new keychain at some point of the game as the past teasers have shown. Bringing support characters from other world will most likely NOT happen due to the rule of 'muddling'. As for Roxas, with the same of Riku and Kairi, don't know if they are playable. 

 

I think you should go ask for proof of this 'Beta Test' of Kingdom Hearts III. 

Those are good ideas but I don't believe those are true. Unless Nomura or square officially confirms it take it with a grain of salt. It also seems that these are general rumors about KH 3.

Most definitely not. He has no proof, and Nomura would've already said something about beta testing. I'm sorry my friend, but you have been given false information. But, to his credit, those ideas seem cool (except for the Star Wars world).

Your friend is clearly trolling you. Kingdom Hearts 3 is not in the testing phase otherwise we'd know a release window and they'd be promoting it...

Also, the fact that he claims that you start off as Roxas is hilarious in my opinion.

Roxas in the beginning? Nop Nomura said that gamers will go quickly move on to KH3.

Ofcourse Kairi and Riku are very likely to be playable since we need them to fight in the Keyblade Wars.

Yeah, no, this guy is pulling your leg. I've been tricked before by even my close friends when it came to Kingdom Hearts. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if some of these things became true coincidentally, but there's an extremely good chance that this co-worker is trying to mess with you, it's not unheard of. Wouldn't we at least get some kind of announcement about beta testing if that were true? And even if not, some of these ideas sound a bit far-fetched to me too, it just kind of gives it away (the point is for Sora and co. to break the rules and go to different worlds, not to make other Disney characters do the same thing. As much as I'd like to take Aladdin to Hercules' world...again...I don't think that's going to happen, that's a bit too radical of a change.). So yeah, at least take this with a grain of salt, but if you want my opinion, this guy is talking a load of garbage.
