I think this was the biggest complain about the cinematic version of Days that they totally skipped the Battle between Roxas and Xion, but the finally made it. They really listen to us!

I COULD HAVE SWORN I SAW A TEAR COMING OUT OF ROXAS' EYE BEFORE HE LANDED THE FINAL ATTACK.

This was so beautiful...the attacks, Final Xion's character model, pretty much everything.

 

 

Also for some reason I imagined one of the Attack on Titan openings playing during the fight....

Pretty cool! Now the whole scene makes more sense too, was weird to jump from the roof scene to the one where Xion dies without any explanation. 4 years late but better late than never I guess

that was a well needed addition a lot of the movies/cutscene collection dosent make sense when you havent played the game it jumps back and forth

Because Square Enix is a large conglomerate, and large conglomerate would usually be too lazy to fix a plot hole for a port of a port of a video game that didn't sell a million units worldwide.

Good Cutscene, i'm getting flashbacks of fighting Xion almost 8 years ago.

as awesome as that was, was it really the only scene they added!? what about roxas vs saix which they didn't even show it happened. they just cut to roxas leaveing

Meh It would've been better if they remake the whole game. Watching 358/2 Days cutscenes on my new PS4 just doesn't work for me. This right here is nothing special. Plus, I hate that they add music in the cutscene after said "Roxas. I'm out of time." The music ruins the scene during the interaction between Xion and Roxas, in my opinion.

Guys, I updated and everything and the new scene's still not there when I play Tears. ;_; (Neither is the theater option for KHI, which I've beaten.) I don't know what I'm doing wrong. T_T

I saw a GIF of this on tumblr, and I lost my shit. Then I scourged Youtube for it and watch the the whole thing.

 

As expected I started screaming.

As much as I want to see this right now, I'm just going to wait until I get to Days in 1.5+2.5 ReMix to watch this on my TV. Since I'm doing a playthrough of the Xehanort Saga and I've already watched Back Cover, played BBS and 1, I'm gonna start Days until Day 20, which is where Axel leaves for Castle Oblivion, and then I'll start Re:Chain, and after that, I'll finish Days!

I'm probably one of the few who notices this, but it annoys me to no end... They rendered* the new cutscene at 1080p, but the rest is just a straight up copy from the ps3 version, which was all rendered* at 720p. Not that it matters, just an observation. Also they use the square keybit again, so the triangular one in some of the cutscenes IS in fact an error that they didn't see when animating all the scenes originally.

 

 

*I say rendered, but it could also have been captured from an in engine cutscene.
