Mm, that music doe

Toss up for me between KH II's Xemnas and 0.2's Devil's Wave, because of the battle themes for both  

Definitely KHII’s and the release date for KHIII, cuz they’re both killing me

Here's a list of my favorite final battles in the Kingdom Hearts series.

 

1.) Xemnas in Kingdom Hearts 2 and Dream Drop Distance

2.) Anti-Black Coat Nightmare in Dream Drop Distance

3.) Vanitas in Birth by Sleep in both stories of Ven and Aqua.

It has and always will be Xemnas in KH2. The execution of the battle was fantastic and the music is superb.The battle overall is just freakin AMAZING!!

I am 100% sure that the final boss in Aqua’s episode was not Braig, but Ventus-Vanitas.

Hey, we do not have to pretend that we do not know the final boss for KH3, because I am very sure that the final boss would Master Xehanort as it would be the last game of his saga.

Braig & Xigbar boss battles were always my favorite.  They're lots of fun. :biggrin:

Terra Xehanort (any of the BBS incarnations), because BBS did a great job of not giving us giant monster fights in varying stages and instead bringing it down to a personal level.

Even though I think that KH2's final boss is the best boss fight in the entire series, my favorite final boss is Ansem in KH1.  I love the design of the World of Chaos and how you have to defeat it piece by piece.

I know it's not the final, final one but it's a lot more impactful than the Riku one so it's a shame it's not on the list:

Xion Final Boss. 

 

I mean to me that's the most emotional fight in any KH game, it was so stressful to me the first time I played it. 

I love Marluxia's final boss fight in CoM.  The only problem with the fight is it doesn't save between stages.  If you die during the awesome second form, you have to start all over again.  Thankfully, Ansem: Seeker of Darkness has a checkpoint system.

Terra-Xehanort in BBS! Such an epic fight thanks to Dismiss OST . At the end I always go into his heart and finish him off with Terra

2nd place takes Xemnas in KH2 and 3rd 0.2 BBS Devil's Wave.

As good of a final boss as Xemnas is, I will still have to go with the final fight against Xehanort in the final episode of BBS.

There's something about that fight. The music, the tension, the stakes. 

 

Xemnas' fight went on for too long (four phases!), but Xehanort seemed to take only as much time as the fight really needed.

Dang, this proved to be a difficult question for me to answer, but, I made up my mind on this poll!

 

I'd have to say that my favorite final boss in Kingdom Hearts is Marluxia! He's the man who wanted to overthrow the Organization, and he wanted the power of the Keyblade for himself, and he was willing to do anything in his power to get what he wanted! The Re:Chain Of Memories version of the final battle is much better because of the fact that it has an additional stage! And all three stages have beautiful music churning out for the epic confrontation!

 

For second place, I'd have to pick Xemnas, because his battles were freakishly epic! And A Fight To The Death is one of my absolute favorite themes when it comes to boss battles!
