When we look back at an interview with Nomura

He said the following;

 

Ryan: Lastly, will Kingdom Hearts III be playable at any events in the near future? When can people expect to get their hands on it?

 

Nomura: Perhaps when we're finally able to reveal the month and date of the release.

 

 

And kingdom hearts 3 will be playable at the invite event (Kingdom Hearts 3 Premiere)

Well some would like it more on Orchestra or the E3 this event is just for a few people.

The box art could be announced though who knows.

I don’t think they would reveal the release at a private event like this one. Especially with E3 right around the corner. E3 is more likely if you ask me.

I mean it's alway a possibility but for marketing reasons wouldn't be too convenient IMO. There are several "media" people attending so they could spread the word easily but it would be awkward to do it that way, I think the event was made in order to fix major issues as told from the representative entities of the fandom so the final product arrives at it's best to everyone and they keep the hype alive of course. I think E3 or the Orchestra will give us the moment we have been waiting for.

If it happens, awesome! If not, better off it happens at an orchestra concert or E3.

As others have pointed out, it's very unlikely. It would be a really cool way for Square Enix to say thanks to their fans who contribute to the KH community, but still unlikely.

Maybe they will give us a clue. Like "coming this summer/fall/winter" or something. I could maybe see that. Then the full release date at either the orchestra or E3.

It would be awesome if they did reveal the release date, but if not then E3 is less than a month away.

E3 is almost a given at this point, but we'll see.

Okay, most of the attendees have been saying that once the embargo lifts, they can finally share everything they know. But at this point, what is there left to reveal at 6 in the morning? We know they're playing KH3 early. We know where and when the event is. We also know that both Nomura and Yasue will be there. There's really only a few other things that could be "revealed" once the embargo lifts:

-Release date
-KH3 cover art
-New trailer
-World announcement

At least one of these has to be shown tomorrow. If none of these are revealed tomorrow, then the attendees (not Square, or kh13 for that matter) overhyped the info that they knew.

Most-likely, we shall not have any major revelations until June 11TH, 2018, when e3 comes along.

 

Until then, more power to the players -- and the storytellers to create their educated guesses as to what is about to take place!!
