to be fair, she had the white hair/dark skin/yellow eyes thing, so it was kinda implied

Until it was all just a big fat red herring

I think that's fair, but I'd be okay with that. The biggest miss for me is how Nomura managed to notice that Riku has been where she is but then doesn't really do anything with it past a cool moment.

throwback to the time i swore she would be in the new org bc her mirror fight song in 0.2 having 13th struggle mixed in it

But honestly, Aqua (Dark Dive) is worth all of that for me.

and so when they showed anti aqua in the trailer i freaked the hell out lmao

though i would have freaked out either way of course

Everyone freaked out.

But in fairness, around that time we were freaking out just as much if not more about Riku-Replica being a thing.

i loved prozd's "freak out"

“AQUA GOT NORTED. That sounds kinda sexual. I WANTED HER TO STEP ON ME. that sounds very sexual”

I thought anti-aqua would be a bit harder tbh

to beat

was disappointed

She kinda kicked my teeth in a few times in my recent critical playthrough tbh

To be fair, so do I.

I say with complete seriousness.

mood

What I found weird was having three Rikus in the same scene

At least for me what the issue with the scene is I got all the excitement and energy out of it ages before I even got to play the game because it was in the trailer months before

If it was something that happened while I was playing the game itself it would have had so much more impact

I discovered KHIII(on Youtube; saw a video labeled Kingdom Hearts III Sora saves Aqua and Ventus) a year after it came out lol

And I wasn't that hyped for those big moment scenes because I didn't know everything like I do now.

*Sigh* wish I knew better

You know what still upsets me about this? The BBS trophies for beating each of their stores says something about how each of them ended up, Terra: The Vessel, Ven: The Dormant, Aqua: The Seeker I remember seeing this right after the trailer and thinking wow... did they really do this intentionally years ago?

I know this is the dumbest reaction ever but I feel happy for little Shadow finally becoming a major antagonist in the form of Demon Tide.

sniff My little man is all grown up now... I'M SO PROUD OF HIM! :sob:

He and his friends are strong enough to break keyblades now

If KH3's anything to go by, shadow heartless in numbers are stronger than multiple Xehanorts

WE STAN SHADOWPILE

It makes sense– the Heartless are an all-consuming force of un-nature; Xehanort’s just the guy who tells them where to go.

Not anymore he ain’t

No it doesn't, shush

From what I understand, Heartless are animalistic in nature. Their instincts tell them to go after anyone with a heart. Xehanort just points them in the right direction.
