During Sora's time in Castle Oblivion, Vexen shows Sora a memory crafted from "the other side of Sora's heart" which takes him to Twilight Town. Now it's common knowledge that Sora couldn't have travelled there before meeting Donald and Goofy in Traverse Town do to the fact that he grew up on Destiny Island, so how does he contain this memory?

 

Now many of you should already know that Ventus's heart finds its way to Sora at the end of BBS and after a brief conversation, Sora agrees to let Ventus's heart rest within himself. You also have to remember that Ventus was not originally from the Land of Departure, but instead was discovered by Master Xehanort and brought to the new world after being proved unfit to control the darkness.

 

So here's my theory: What if the sleeping memory discovered inside Castle Oblivion doesn't actually belong to Sora, but instead Ventus?

No it's Roxas because he was found there by Xemnas at the beginning of 358 days,which was a little before Chain of memories.Remember: Roxas was a special sort of nobody that had a heart!So we Both could be ryte since he had Ventus's heart inside of him...(MIND BLOW!!!)

I completely believe your theory and I'm a believer that Ventus' home world is probably Twilight Town and that he probably has some connection to the Old Mansion.

You forget the fact that Roxas was born near the end of KH1(21/22 days had passed before Sora got to Castle Oblivion).

Good point! This theory is also supported by the fact that ven's clothes are half light colors and half dark. In the same way that twilight town is exactly between light and darkness. Granted that might just be a coincedence, but it may not.

Now, that said, I do believe that you are correct that Ven is from Twilight Town.

I've always like the idea of Ventus being from Twilight town. Like I've said somewhere else, I think Master Xehanort would have been drawn to that world to search for someone to use to forge the X-blade given the world's balance of light and dark.

 

And you never know that the reason Roxas was born there was because Ven's heart lead him there. Ven likes to drag people around to places he knows, like taking Aqua to Land of Departure in the final episode.

In a way, Ven (the being of pure light, 'light Ven' for short) was born in the Keyblade Graveyard, same as Vanitas (the being of pure darkness) from the original Ventus. Still, technically, Light Ven wasn't really born until Sora saved him and he was 'born from his sleep' so maybe its more like where your heart comes into existence? Anyways, the keyblade graveyard doesn't really seem like the sort of place someone would be born into...

Wait .. does Roxas really have Sora's heart though? Wouldn't it make more sense to say he was made from Ventus's heart? I mean Sora going around without his heart, while always talking about his friendships being connected by their hearts just doesn't sound right lol. And that would make it even more likely Ventus was born there because that is where Roxas was born.
