How often do you skip the cutscenes when playing a game?

How often do you skip the cutscenes when playing a game?

I actually like to see how the story goes, so I only skip when I know everything. And in the first time I play I don't skip scenes!

So, "Rarely, only on a second or third playthrough."

And you guys? :3

Only when I've played the game at least three times. That way, I ensure I know all of the story.

Well normally only if I'm replaying levels or bosses. But every playthrough of Days I watched every single firetrucking scene.

I REGRET NOTHING

Only when I screwed up and have to review the same cutscene I did a few moments ago.

i hate it when you cant skip cutscenes and youre forced to watch every cutscene every time u play...

If I die against a boss, I'll skip the cutscene unless it's one I really like or I'm playing KH1 and can't. I always watch all cutscenes thoroughly on my 1st playthrough of a game, and as much as possible on a second or third playthrough. However, if I don't have much time or don't like the scene/find it boring, I'll skip it.

Only if I lost a fight.

Anyone remember how you couldn't skip cutscenes in KH1? Ugh...That scene in Hollow Bastion was burned in my memory.

Only if I lost a fight.

Yeah, same here. It's crazy how many times I've heard "It is I, Ansem, seeker of darkness." and "There's no way you're taking Kairi's heart!"

Only if I lost a fight.

My firends are my power.

Very rarely. If I lose against a boss or something then yeah. Always watch every cutscene to the end at least once, no matter how long or boring. I rarely do replays, really rarely, but I always watch all the cutscenes again.

I actually love cutscenes. I guess that is because I am always more involved into the story than the gameplay. Unless it lacks a story or the story sucks, in which case I probably won't play it long anyway.

Same with everyone else lol.But I lol-ed at the first answer,"I hate all video game story's" because well that would be a little weird lol

Only occasionally. In general, I hate playing games, all I want to see is the cutscenes. xD

On my first playthrough of games, I usually watch the cutscenes, but on subsequent playthroughs, if I'm about to fight an awesome boss, I tout a witty one-liner to the TV and skip it.

Only when I keep dying (I'm looking at you XIII) or I've seen it a kajillion times. But I never skip Metal Gear cutscenes. Can't miss that goodness...

Only if I died in a boss battle and it plays the cutscene before it again. Otherwise, I always like to watch the cutscenes even if it's my 186th time playing it ^^

Yeah, me too. Like the battle at Hollow Bastion with Ansem possesing Riku in KH1.

Only if I lost a fight.

Oh dear lord...I watched that cursed scene about a million times. I was so glad when I finally got past it.

But I don't usually skip cutscenes. Only if its in a game I've played several times and know what's going to happen. Or fighting a boss over and over again with the same stupid cutscene at the beginning that takes forever and you can't skip.

Unless I'm replaying a battle I got killed in, never! Plot is the main thing I enjoy in games. I never skip through any scenes replaying all the KH games, and I'm damn proud of it!

I rarely skip cutscenes,I only skip them when I die against a hard boss that when you die you respawn to the last check point and sometimes you must watch the hole cutscene again and again until you can beat him (Sephiroth in KH2)

only if i have seen it alot of times before and it nothing good happens

Rarely, only on a second or third playthrough.

Only when I'm stuck on a boss

Only when I replay the game and even then only if it's a rly boring scene. Then ofc, if I loss to a boss and it has a scene before it... No, I'm not gonna watch it again and again xD

Rarely at third or second time.
