Alright, so I'm psyched! Because the Anime that got me into Anime, is getting a fourth season after about four years. This Anime is Zero no Tsukaima, or Familiar of Zero. It had a season per year from 2006 to 2008, and according to my not too reliable resource, the first episode of the fourth and final season will air on January 7th, 2012. Now I've known about the fourth season for a while, and knew it would be sometime soon, but I never knew it would be this soon. This is the anime that I can watch over and over and not have a problem with. So hearing the fourth season and new episodes coming out is a big deal for me.

 

So to celebrate this, I've decided to ask everyone what Anime made you start loving anime?

Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z C: i loved those shows.

Before I even knew what anime was, I watched my first on Toonami, which was Sailormoon and Pokemon when I was four or five.

Yugioh and Pokemon.

The original Yugioh. I can't stand the others.

 

But I love Naruto Shippuden. Just not the fillers. Or Tobi. Because he's a huge liar.

I love Madara

I would say any of the animes that were on fox kids, cartoon network, and the wb around 98-04... I guessing on the yrs cant remember that far back, but i watched sailor moon, dbz, ronin warriors, gundam, yu yu hakusho, digimon, monster rancher, metabots, shinzu* think thats how its spelled, outlaw star, pokemon, card captors, and there are probably a few others... So not one anime in particular but just the more mainstream animes that air in the US during my childhood and considering i was born in '89 there were plenty

 

 

 

Pokemon and Digimon I guess- I didn't really know what anime was till I was about 12 ^^; but what really got me into anime was Naruto (i'm not as crazy about it anymore) ah, but Full Metal Alchemist sealed the deal with me and anime! Totally forgot about FMA!!! I pretty sure between that naruto, and yu yu hakusho i was sold

I say DBZ really go me into anime, I mean I watched pokemon and etc as well. But I didn't know what anime was at the time I was only like 8 when DBZ came out. But I loved DBZ and when I got my first computer at 13. I found other animes (which is at that time I learn about anime) And one of the two first animes I saw that wasn't aired on TV was Please Teacher, and Chobits after that I was hooked ever since.

Even though I watched Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh & Dragonball Z when I was younger, Tiger & Bunny has gotten me into Anime. I wasn't a big fan of Anime until recently. I've watched a few different Anime's over the past few weeks so.. yeah I guess I now actually somewhat like Anime. :B

Well I never really considered pokemon to be an anime I threw it in the cartoon category...

 

But I guess I would have to say I was introduced to anime more when I started watching the original FMA's when it would come on TV and then my friend started showing me a few others when she discovered I liked FMA and so yeah... However anime isn't really a big part of my life though imo... o- o

Pokemon and the original Yu-Gi-Oh. That's where it started, and ended. To be honest, I don't really like anime.

DBZ and Yugioh where just the start of my anime love.

Watched Digimon and Yugioh when I was younger, but the anime that got me into anime would have to be Death Note. Loved it.

Clannad.

The perfect mix of Drama, Romance, and Humor.

 

It was not my first, but it's what got me serious about anime.

If How I Met Your Mother was an Anime, that'd be my choice in a heartbeat

To be honest, I think Gundam got me interested in animes, but Inuyasha is probably the one the tied it together.

 

As for Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, I never really classified them as animes. They're were that childhood shows that any kid could get hooked on. Just saying.

My friend forced me to watch InuYasha. Now here I am, being a longtime fan of Bleach.

Uuuummm....I think it was Sailor Moon, then Tenchi Muyo....Yeah, then Pokemon, Naruto, then Chibi Vampire Karin, Haruhi Suzumiya, Ouran High School host club, FullMetal Alchemist, then Higurashi, then..um...Elfen Lied, then Hetalia: Axis Powers (Fave!), and Black Butler currently....

Ginga Densetsu Weed... I watched a lot of anime after I started watching that but I stopped about a year or so ago, haven't got into any animes in a long time

Then I found the internet...

 

Naruto, Bleach, Reborn, Death Note, K-On!... Then I looked at all the new short anime ie. Steins;Gate, [C], Psychic Detective Yakumo.

My first anime was the orginal Yu-Gi-Oh which I really loved as a kid (I remember waking up early when I was five to watch a new episode). Then came Sailor Moon which got me to learn more about anime. But I was truly never excited about anime till I watched Code Geass.
