How can Riku smell darkness?

I also never got why he only talked about

his amazing sense of smell in com but not in any

of the future games.

1.) well, he can't really "smell" it, but it's more of a sixth sense to him. I guess since he was within darkness for awhile, he was used to what it "felt" like, therefore he knows when something's up with the darkness.

2.) he might not mention it because he doesn't want to. but if you notice in the games after, he seems to know when darkness is near even before anyone mentions anything. it's probably just a power he prefers to keep to himself.

Riku has a great sense of smell because he doesn't smoke weed like Sora. I mean there has to be a reason why Sora is happy all the time.

He can smell darkness, but he can't smell the odor coming off of his friend that has gone without a shower for a year.

I think his power is similar to Zexion's in that he can't really smell the darkness, but he can tell when a certain being of darkness is nearby according to the signature of their darkness.

LMAO I never noticed that. Riku must have a strange sense of smell.

No. Let me put it this way: You know how when the feel a "disturbance it the Force," they just know that something is wrong. They can't see, smell, or hear it, they feel it, they just know it's there. Same case with Riku.

I think he can smell darkness because his nose is just insanely good at picking up scents. That and I must agree with ami the darkness does just stink

When he says i can smell darkness he means tha he can sense it somehow... Its a metafor

He uses Justin Beiber
