Do you prefer the Drop System to that of Birth by Sleep's character system?

I like both of them, because each game has a different story, and both systems match each one... So yeah, both of them are great! :)

Honestly, I like playing the different stories in BBS. It was so much cooler to me to experience a story, then go to the next one and see how they fit together.

the drop wasnt that bad.tho late in the game i reliazed u have to press A to get the boneus.Big kh fail there....><

I only watched a Lets Play KH3D, so I don't have personal experience with the Drop Gage system, however, I can understand why they did so. In dreams, our minds are constantly switching Points of Views, from first to third, even to different people. And KH3D showed all of that. It was really interesting.

However, for convince sake, I think it was kind of cool/preferable to play each character individually. But that's just me.

I'd like something along the lines of the BBS character system but with a tweak. For example, Sora would do Traverse Town from start to finish, then Riku from start to finish. But, you wouldn't be able to move on to say La Cite des Cloches for example until both characters were done in their previous world. I think this way would have been better because while at times there's overlap between the two characters' stories, for the most part, they're separate. Plus, when you finish a world with the second character in each world, you get a big cutscene that moves the story forward. I would have preferred that to the drop system.

I liked BBS's system better complete one person's story then start on another character and see how the whole thing played out from their point of view. Thats not to say I don't like the drop system though ;P

I like both the drop gauge and the individual stories. They both feel similar yet different, if anybody knows what I mean...

It's different. The drop system works in KH3D because Sora and Riku's stories are completely separate, they don't interact with each other much at all. In BBS it would be weird if you defeated Trinity Armour and then went through the whole confrontation scene and then dropped and did it all again from a slightly different point of view.

I actually like the drop system, but I also like BBS's, too. I guess the drop system is better since I don't have to restart the game.

while yur still going through the main game its cool but post game it gets annoying way to fast

I like it because you can do it whenever!~

In BbS, you either have to turn it off or finish the ending to play as another character so that's why I like it better then BbS's!~

I think it's better if characters would have switched automattically after reaching a certain point in the game depending on the story and by that you won't have to worry about the time/drop gauge. Like just for an example - If something happens with Sora then you automatically switch to Riku and then saves Sora.

For me drop system is not bad but it started getting annoying after story mode because I was finding treasures and in the middle of finding treasures the drop gauge finishes and you switch characters. So I think after the story it should have been like you could choose any character and play with it and you could switch between characters anytime.

Agreed. That's exactly what I would have preferred. Much better than Drop gauge and playing story individually with every character.

The Drop system's alright, I just end up finishing worlds with Riku first, then finding out the Sora finishes it first chronoligically. At least I knew the order fo things in BbS...

Definitely no. Drop system is confusing and annoying.

Exactly. That way there's no breakup during each world. While I love KH3D, it's annoying to worry about if I'm going to drop at any given moment. Thankfully they came up with drop-me-nots, or else I definitely wouldn't have liked the system at all.

They're both very good. And very different. Almost impossible to compare.

I like the drop system a lot coz of the chronological order of the story.....in BbS I sometimes forgot what happened in another character's story that's why I'm sometimes confused xD for me doin both of the characters story at the same time seems easier for me

the only problem that a lot of people are saying about the drop is dropping in the middle of a boss fight....I don't have problems on this coz I just started my game x_x

but to avoid dropping in the middle of a boss fight...I'll just drop in advance BEFORE the fight http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png

I enjoy both ways. But seeing how i love to explore worlds, the drop system gives me less time to do that. Well i guess i would have the same amount of time- well what i'm saying is... I prefer the BBS way but i like the DDD way too.

I haven't played KH3D yet, but I thought the drop gauge was a stupid idea from the start, and from everything I'm hearing, I'm probably not gonna like it that much.

I can't really say I liked one over the other. in BBS their stories were short enough to where I could get everything as a whole fairly quickly, but the drop system allows me to properly compare and contrast both Sora's and Riku's quests. Like if you ask me, Sora's story is darker and Riku's story is a bit more light-hearted...whereas for me Birth By Sleep came to the same ending(separate for each Character with a different "ending" but the setting and final battle all tied in together...) and felt like a Classic Kingdom Hearts Game with some bonuses. I can say I like the Drop system more, but not enough for it to have a definitive impact on how I view the games...

No i dont like the drop system its a fail i hate it so much and when im about to finished a boss the drop system runs out which its annoying http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png and they only give you 2 drop me not which sucks.

I actually enjoy the drop system. It not only helps tie the stories together more closely at once, but it actually provides a challenge, knowing you only have certain amount of time to beat a boss. I've watched people play Birth by Sleep and spend like 10 minutes on a boss, 8 of which were spent running around taunting the thing.
