How do you feel about more games going digital-only, with no physical copies available?

 

Nah, I love the old style ;3

(The last two options in the poll are the same, by the way. lol)

 

I love owning physical copies of stuff. I dunno why; I love being able to hold a game disc (or cart) in my hands, and I kind of feel like the experience is different than playing a digital copy of something. It's kind of like downloadable books, where some people just like the feel of a book in their hands over a piece of plastic with the book digitally downloaded.

 

But that's just me. >>

I don't like digital downloads... going out to buy something doesn't feel like an agonizing wait,

But when I download something it's like nagging at me all the time

and if I lose a physical copy I always know there's a chance of finding it

with digital... well I dunno

I always loved cases and the manuals inside (I really don't know why) so I prefer those. Digital-only copies can have lots of issues and I prefer solid proof I own things anyway.

I don't mind all too much. I bought RE4 HD with no problems -though bummed that there was no physical copy-.....but I would rather have the option to buy a copy that I can hold in my hands and keep.

if i cant get the game on a physical disc then yea i will get it digital, but i will always love having a physical copy.

I prefer to OWN my games, so that game companies can't take them away.

 

But I've purchased a few games digitally, though mostly ones where I had no choice.

I guess I don't really mind. I'd rather own the physical copy instead of having it downloaded. Just in case if something happens

Disks are the best. You could take your game to your friends house and play, and not only that. You can take the paper from the box art and tape it to your wall. {At least that's what I do anyway}

Depends on the circumstance, but having the game physically is a lot better. That is why I took the liberty to go and buy the original N64 and SNES game cartridges instead buying them on Virtual Console

I love physical copies of games, and I never sell a game, so digital versions are very annoying to me especially since with digital download the company has a habit of saying you dont own the game at all

I will always prefer actually getting the copies. But the thing is if everything is going to be downloaded won't there be less jobs than there already are? I think downloads will only make thing worse not better for people. Also without money how would you even be able to get the game? Wonderingment.

Although physical copies are easier to lose, at least you can find them again. If something happens to the digital copies, or the console they're on, and there's no way to recover them... then yeah you're screwed.

physical copies...you can feel it

I prefer phisical copies.

 

At least I can put them somewhere safe.

I like my hard copies.

 

I can't buy them if they need credit card.
