With that recent interview revealing a new feature will be unlocked when you beat the game, as well as various miscellaneous changes being caught, such as new models, improved camera, and the inclusion of the triangle button, it seems safe to say that 1.5 will have a couple of extra doodads.

What do you foresee?

I'm DESPERATELY hoping that the big new feature isn't something lame, like new game plus.

But I also thought of something; they constantly deny the existence of a new secret movie.

But what about a secret episode, BBS style?

You know what would be really cool? a short campaign from Riku's side of the story

Or a Riku in the Realm of Darkness campaign

Or a Sora in the Land of departure campaign

or something

Or maybe something more directly related to KH3.

A little misc. thing I hope they add; I hope they make that glowy effect appear on the keyblade WHENEVER Sora summons it. It looks terrible when it just flashes white and pops into existence

hatok, you should work with Nomura, maybe some genuinely good ideas will happen then.

 

Unfortunately, I kind of expect it to be something lame. I would love if they included some kind of multiplayer aspects though. So if anything, I'm hoping for that, I guess.

A Riku side story does sound really interesting, hopefully it's something like that.

Riku's side of the story would be an amazing addition. Hopefully they do that.

They could also add a Mickey in the RoD campaign, now THAT would really fill in some plot holes for me.

I've been thinking of a game focusing on Rikus side of KH1 for so long. That would be great

A new game+ option.

A gummi ship over haul. Traveling via gummi ship in KH1 was a real pain and tedious but they managed to make it pretty fun in KH2. Seeing as they're borrowing from KH2 for improvements I'm hoping that the gummi ship is part of it.

 

Being able to replay the game from the same file e.g. Re:Coded.

 

Some of the effects to be tweaked like when Sora summons and banishes his Keyblade. There are some moments where it looks like he's summoning it from his ass or throws it away off to the side.

 

More cutscenes to flesh the plot and characters out a bit more, ESPECIALLY Kairi. It's hard for me to care for the girl when 95% of her screen time is her being a vegetable and the rest a plot device. Throw us a bone and add a couple more scenes.

 

Expanding from the last one, there were a couple of things that were never explained in KH1 or other wise, like "The Keyblade of People's Hearts" and Hollow Bastion's apparently unfinished keyhole.

That firetrucking button that no one can reach in Hollow Bastion. What was up with that? First time I played KH it trolled me for an hour or two before I learned that it was unreachable.

It would be cool if it could be something related to the secret ending of BBSFM. I would like to see what has been going on in the Realm of Darkness, and Nomura wasn't able to make a game out of it so this would be his chance to tell that story.

But I am still hoping for a Riku Story kinda remind me of Sasuke story mode in some Naruto games after beating it.

JUST bonus keyblades or secret bosses? That'd be pretty cool

Keep in mind the new thing is a reward for beating the game (So theatre mode is pretty likely)

It's beyond and HD collection. Most HD ports are simply a resolution upgrade, with trophies, and sometimes improved textures. This collection has improved models, improved camera, and improved gameplay, as well as an hour of two of new cutscenes.

So it goes a bit beyond the usual expectations, and something cool is entirely possible

As much as I would love to hope for new content I really can't see that there would be anything 'super awesome' that leads to KH3. If we are lucky we may get new secret boss, which would be nice very nice as long as they don't firetruck it up like MF (Like really, spam one attack and that is how you win the battle most easiest way and most attacks don't work anyway so there is no reason to try to be creative with command deck)

What ever the new feature is, I hope it's not as lame as New Game + as others pointed out.

 

Other than that, I hope one of the extras does indeed give the player the option to re-fight some bosses and a Riku campaign wouldn't hurt as well.

New Game Plus in DDD lets you transfer Dream Eaters, and trophy collections. KH1 doesn't have thes things, so what would the purpose of clear data be?
