Is it weird that Xion's death is actually an important turning point in my life?it's something I remember really well and relate a lot of things too, is it weird ._.

Featured Replies

well, that depends on the things you relate to it

It was a pretty emotional death. Until the "WHO WILL I HAVE ICE CREAM WITH?" line but yeah it's not very weird. Media can affect people a lot.

I was sad the first time I saw her death scene.

Not weird. Kingdom Hearts is an emitonal series, and they emphasize the value of friendship.

But it's more with what Lt.Random posted, it depends with what you relate to.

It was an emotional death. I still shed a tear thinking about it every now and then. Roxas ice cream line made it even more sad, since it could easily relate to some of the sad goodbyes one loved one would say to another, but since they're nobodies and this is an E game, ya know no emotion and what not, he couldn't just say "Please don't go, I... I love you." Regardless, the ice cream line still got the message through (for me at least... I could have interpreted that wrong)

The Ending was the first Video Game Scene that made me cry. So I'll probably remember it forever. It's not that weird I think. Not everyone needs a catastrophy to happen to have a turning point in his/her life

Respectfully, I disagree. I think the "Who will I have ice cream with?" line was actually the most emotional part of the entire scene

for what it actually means "who will I cry with" it's emotional. I don't think it was done the best way which made it kind of funny to me but it was a nice idea

my first post was halfjoking also

I nearly cried (I teared up actually) at it...

And the ice cream line was explained to me thanks to google...I at first found it weird, but once I had an explanation...it made it a whole lot sadder.

I agree, I think this line is heartbreaking!

I don't think I'll ever forget it.

I agree. It is really tragic and I will never forget it though I didn't cry. I'm to unemotional. It's a really strange feeling when you're really sad that you could and actually should cry, but it doesn't happen. I only can let the smiley cry for me :

Yes. I remember when my friends dog died. We use to walk the dog together and play with it.

It was a sad end for Xion as she didn't go down without a fight and had to go against a friend.

I *sort of* feel that way with ffx so I can understand.

It's defiantly important considering the development of Roxas, and Sora, in some ways...

I thought that said "Xaon's death" Dammit >.>

I was glad she died, useless characters best stay to one game only. hope she never comes  back

First time i played it i didn't tear up because i wasn't an emotional person at the time. a few years later when i was watching the cutscenes i did tear up at the scene between Axel and Xion at the Mansion and Xions death.

(also I thought this was going to be a thread with ranting about how Xion's voice actor in the English KH1.5 trailer "killed" Xion or something :P)

for what it actually means "who will I cry with" it's emotional. I don't think it was done the best way which made it kind of funny to me but it was a nice idea

They had to keep it in character, and since the nobodies thought that they could not have emotions (after all, only Xemnas and Xigbar knew the truth), I think that it makes more sense to go with what they are able to associate with the feelings, rather than the feelings themselves

I don't think it's strange at all.  Honestly, I found it to be one of the most moving scenes in the whole series myself.

Honestly,my tear nearly drop for it : but my ds was frozen before I cry.

Then the ice-cream line came along. I think most people misinterpreted it. I think it was kinda wise of the team to use that line actually ._. It's what made her death hit you like a train
