With everything you know right now about the next PlayStation and Xbox consoles, which do you plan to buy?

 

None right now...

I'd like to know more details but with what I know the PS4 looks better and I'll go with that.

I'll inevitably go with Playstation because of the Japanese preference to that console, but when I get the console is a whole other issue.

PS4, because the new Xbox sounds like a tough sell...we'll see when it's shown 

Meh I'm not too interested in them.(Unless KH comes on one of them yo!~)

I want rumors confirmed so I'm still undecided, but I would go for Ps4

It depends, so I'm going to wait. I like Xbox for personal reasons, but if the rumors of it are true, then I might be buying a PS4 if it at least gives things I want. (Considering a lot of games that come to the Xbox also go to the PlayStation, I might as well.)

Playstation 4. I've never owned an Xbox system in my life and don't plan to in any foreseeable future of mine.

Besides, KH is a PS game as far as numbered titles are concerned, and has never gone near Microsoft's consoles. Not to mention Xbox is almost entirely centred around the shooting/racing genres. PS3 has some real works of art on it (Journey, Heavy Rain, etc) as well as other games I enjoy (Sly Cooper, KH1.5, Okami, inFAMOUS2) and I expect PS4 will be just as impressive.

I can't say I'll be buying one this year though. Despite Sony's claims that it'll be the lowest starting price of any of their consoles yet, I can imagine it'll still be out of my (or my family's) price range for a little while.

Yeah....cheapest ps4 will be $450 I'll be waiting for a price drop near late 2014/early 2015....

Niether, but if I had to pick it would be the PS4 since there's a possiblity that there may be a game I want to play on it.

Playstation 4, since the XBox gets most of the same releases and I'm more partial to Sony.

The new Xbox is sounding like a video game system inside of a TV and the PS4 isn't backwards compatible and is all cloud based. Call me a sucker, but I love hard copies of games. That, and we don't even have a price yet. I'm not all that dedicated if they won't even tell me how much it costs.
