I know some of you guys started to watch anime in 2000 and after since animes like Cowboy Bebop and Dragon Ball Z

 

But for me I was so lucky that most of cartoon dubbed in my country were mostly anime

 

I've watched many animes in my childhood,but I'll pick up a few that I consider to be my favorite old animes

Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken

 

(I couldn't find an English dub for this,but I'll try)

 

It's a Dragon quest anime spin-off

 

I don't know how many of you watched it,but I was so lucky that we got a dub version of the anime where I live when I was a kid(not in English,my native language is Arabic) and thank God the first dub was good.....until another studio came out and ruined everything with a new awful dub

 

 

Anyway,this anime is sooooooo epic and to this day I can't get enough of it.It actually encouraged me to try some Dragon Quest games

 

Too bad the anime didn't continue to where the manga has stopped( I remember there was a manga for this anime) but never the less I still like it

Iga no Kapamaro

 

 

Seriously this has to be one of the most hiliarious,funniest animes I've ever seen

 

While the anime has it's share of few dramatic moments,it's mostly filled with humor and comedy,pretty much like Gintama

 

I've rewatched this anime hundreds of times and it stills put a smile on my face.

I had Card Captors, Dragon Ball (though I stopped watching 'cause other girls teased me saying it was a boys cartoon), and very late W.i.t.c.h when I was about 11 or something

I had Toonami to thank for my early anime exposure.  Aside from the obvious (Pokemon, DBZ, Sailor Moon, etc), there was also Ronin Warriors.  I haven't seen it in years but I remember it being badass.

i either started with Pokemon or Yu Gi Oh

and after that was DBZ, and Sailor Moon... but I forget if I started watching from the Dic dub or the Cloverway dub

But I do remember my first SM episodes

When I was younger, it was just Pokémon. Lots and Lots of Pokémon... and then mom was like "Pokémon is the devil because of evolution!" so she forced me to not watch it, but later I explained to her the stuff about evolution and how I didn't get it if we could watch X-Men and not Pokémon, which opened her eyes, and let us watch it again.

For me, it was Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Beyblade :].

Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Yu-gi-oh, pretty much all the basics. But honestly, as a kid, I didn't watch a whole lot of TV. I remember a lot of cartoons on Cartoon Network and Toonami, but none I watched religiously.

The two I mentioned above where animes I watched before I got introduced to Pokemon,Yu gi oh,Digimon,....etc

I was already old when I started watching anime with my grandkids. Seen all the shows stated above.

Sailor Moon, Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Z, and Hamtaro.  (Yes, that last one counts.)

My first anime was Pokemon. Then Digimon, Dragonball Z, and Yugioh.

omg i love w.i.t.c.h!! I was mad when it stopped coming on TV but i watched all the episodes on youtube again just recently

I only watched Pokemon and Digimon.

I liked Digimon better, even though none of my friends liked it. That's why I didn't tell anyone I actually loved it. : D
