July 3, 201312 yr I'm never one to shoot down one's ideas, but this entirely seems a little foolish. It doesn't even relate to the bigger idea they're trying to support, does it?
July 3, 201312 yr It's stupid, but I'm annoyed they're calling them abortion supporters instead of pro-choicers. Might as well call pro-lifers, rape victims prosecutors (Like Justin Beiber we all know rape happens for a reason (Y)) It's clear to see which side the author supports.
July 3, 201312 yr Eh. I'm guessing that the protesters were only trying to attract attention and infuriate the other side, not actually professing their devotion to the devil. It was just as inappropriate for the other side to be singing "Amazing Grace" outside a government building; we are founded on the separation of church and state. The supporters of the bill should not be able to imply that their side, bill, or anything political at all is ordained/sanctioned by God.
July 3, 201312 yr That was not a good move Abortion supporters. It's not helping their cause that's for sure . I also think it's pretty disgusting to have small girls holding signs saying if they 'wanted the government in their womb they would firetruck a senator" . Classy move right there .

I also think it's pretty disgusting to have small girls holding signs saying if they 'wanted the government in their womb they would firetruck a senator" . Classy move right there . It will probably lose them supporters too for those who are religious and yet is pro-choice especially. It's stupid, but I'm annoyed they're calling them abortion supporters instead of pro-choicers. July 3, 201312 yr I believe that the abortion arguments are fought with emotion rather than logic. People say that God says thou shall not kill but fail to realize that not everyone believes in God. Church and state shall be separated. God also said to follow the laws of the land in Romans. But really Hail Satan? That is not a great look
July 3, 201312 yr I've never understood all this crap about abortion if a woman doesn't want to have a child it's her body and her choice ,but I can definitely say I enjoyed this sign Angry Cat FTW
July 3, 201312 yr firetruck YEAH HAIL SATAN. okay but seriously this is pretty damn great. after years of religious beliefs being used as fuel to govern the bodies of DFABs of course theyre going to be angry and this response is totally firetrucking warranted and fitting. i wouldve been right there with them because im firetrucking sick of religion in politics. as well people seem to think that pro choicers care about how "classy" their moves maybe but theyre dont?? after all this isnt some elegant ball this is a battle for rights and its not gonna be pretty so to hell to all this classy bullshit. this is an ugly fight, dont expect DFABs to act in a certain way because thats some grade a bullshit.
July 3, 201312 yr Popular Post It will probably lose them supporters too for those who are religious and yet is pro-choice especially. Even without that, it was kind of obvious. Pretty much . There are some 'religious' people that still support abortion so all it does is serve to alienate more supporters for their cause. Frankly I don't think people get that the way they sometimes go about things ends up hindering their cause bc they sometimes cause themselves to lose credibility when their extreme actions make them look bad. In other words, it would help to think before you act . I would say this applies to both sides of the debate .If you want someone to actually listen to what you are trying to say, it serves no purpose to go out of your way to act in a way that makes you seem less than credible or in a way you know will just make you look bad then wonder why people don't take you seriously.

There is a separation between church and state. Religion was never the factor of the government, no matter even if the citizens add religion to their opinion or not. The whole point is to win supporters and chanting "hail satan" isn't a good idea, and it wont help that much other than give them a bad name.

Except religion has been a factor in government and politicians frequently use religion to support their ideas lolIf something like this drives off "supporters" then they werent supporters to begin with because they cant look past emotionally charged actions and support them despite actions they may not personally like

Religion never became a factor, if that was the case then how did DOMA get shut down? Edited July 3, 201312 yr by Shana09
July 3, 201312 yr I think it's better to rally supporters than make them flee and then complain why the government hasn't listened to you. Religion never became a factor, if that was the case then how did DOMA get shut down?Just because one thing got shut down doesnt mean politicians arent religiously influenced. i mean how did it get put in place in the first place also while you guys whine about how uncalled for this is, let me remind you that anti choicer frequently use scare tactics and shock images to scare young women* and as well have set up "crisis centers" where they harass women* seeking abortions

We're not whining, we think its stupid. Obviously that is terrible but that doesn't mean you get to shout out "HAIL SATAN" and think you are going to win supporters. Some politicians say religious stuff but when it comes to a FINAL decision religion isn't a factor at all.
July 3, 201312 yr Supporting a cause isn't the same as supporting all actions people might do to further that cause. So I guess I'm not a real pro-choicer because I don't want to associate myself with people who give pro-lifers reason to believe pro-choicers are just a bunch of baby-killing satan worshipers.
July 3, 201312 yr Except no one is validating those acts either . Two wrongs don't make a right is the point .It does not help support your cause in any manner. Making an ass of yourself serves nothing but to make you look bad no matter what your viewpoint is.On a side note, why does this KH site have to always have these type of threads that serve no purpose but to cause shitstorms since no one will ever agree?
July 3, 201312 yr I don't really agree with the chanting. To each their own in terms of faith and religion, but due to the stigma surrounding satanism and the lack of knowledge and education surrounding the different branches of satanism (which isn't harmful and demonic like the Church has made people believe) I don't believe this was the appropriate time to start chanting about it. But I'm glad people are finally taking a stand! I'm honestly surprised it's Texas because of their right wing reputation but regardless, more power to them if they're pro-choice!

KH13, the site that with 1% KH and 99% unrelated topics. I don't really agree with the chanting. Everyone deserves a choice for abortion and its great to make a stand, though they need to make smart choices in order to succeed.

July 4, 201312 yr It's stupid, but I'm annoyed they're calling them abortion supporters instead of pro-choicers. Might as well call pro-lifers, rape victims prosecutors (Like Justin Beiber we all know rape happens for a reason (Y)) It's clear to see which side the author supports. Um... I'm not the most politically correct person on the planet... but when did the term "abortion supporter" become taboo? Does this mean we need to change Abortion Clinics to "Choice Clinics"? I think you are nitpicking here.
