Do You Really Want the Series to End?

Posted

There was a post made of recent that states that KHIII should be the end of the franchise. I don't think this will happen, and although I am one of the people that don't want this to end up as some money making scheme by Square, I don't really want to end the series itself. The Xehanort Saga? Yes. Xehanort has been beaten so many times that you think he would just die and die for real already, and yes KH3D made perfect sense to me, and I know how Xehanort is alive and kicking. But, Xehanort has had his share of butt whoops, now it's time for another villain to arise, with a completely new goal. And not with Sora to stand in his way, but another hero that will have his own story, no ties to Sora, and his own will and personality. I personally think that Square has done an excellent job with Final Fantasy, and I don't think they're "milking it" just for money. If they could just let go of the excellency of the past KH games and move on to another untold story, whether it be in the past or the future, and make a new world and give it a completely original story, I think that the series would make it into it's 20+ year and still be an amazing franchise that will make money, but won't survive just because of it. Kingdom Hearts has one main story that I think would make a perfect game, may it be only one: the Keyblade War. If you have played KHBBS, then you will understand how when Xehanort talks of it, it makes you wonder what it was like. This, my friends, cannot be the end of Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts 3 has not arrived yet, so it is not completely correct to assume that it would not be right to end the series, but it will leave an empty hole in your heart until the faint memory of KH blinks out, and you will forget how wonderful and amazing this series was.

The title of this should be "Do You Really Want the Series to End?"

I,of course, want the series to last that long. But yeah the kingdom hearts series needs a new antagonist.I'm open to the idea of a female villain(besides Larxene) in the KH Universe.I know there's Maleficent, but let's face it,she hasn't been a been player since KH1. Well...until KH3 comes out,we'll see what happens...

All good things must come to an end.... And a new generations shall experience what we had with kingdom hearts the xenohart saga.

Yes, but I feel that it is too soon for this great series to end.

NO,I don't want Sora to leave.I don't care if other character leave, just not sora.Noruma said that sora will remain the protaginst of the kh series forever! *echo effect*

Well Nomura has said that Sora will always be the main protagonist.

Nomura said that the series wouldn't end with KH3 but he also said that whatever comes next will have Sora as hero.

That's what I am afraid of. KH will eventually get old if Sora stayed the main protagonist.

I think it shouldn't end,... I remember a while ago there was this post about KH3 being cancelled, as soon as I read the post I knew it was fake but still just the idea of it made my heart stop. or something. it's weird, however I would like for Villains to get REALLY bad, it would bring something extra to the series, I really can't explain but some villains feel like jokes and for all I care they can get cut out.

Who doesn't want this series to last long, that's why we're fans!

We go out and buy Kingdom Hearts games and play them so we can get more when were done. We'e fans of the series.

I want the Xehanort Saga to end and i think its kinda obvious that Nomura plans on ending it with KH3. I don't want KH to completely go away. It's one of those series I feel should last forever/

You can change the title if you edit the first post and go into the full editor

I want a due for the main antagonist in the next saga that maybe start of as team members in the first game against an immanent threat to the worlds but in the ending or sequel they betray sora.

The new Kingdom Hearts would be more action. And hopefully very deep in the plot to finish off the saga right.

It should last forever yo!~ :3

Unlimited money for Square Enix.

Right on the one.

Hopefully there will be a new main character like Riku or Roxas

I think it should be more up there with the T rated stuff. We need some REAL bad guys. Violent bad guys.

Sora will remain the main character.

Sora will remain the main character.

Square Enix better keep it that way B)

Square Enix better keep it that way B)

They better..

I want it to end while its still good instead of dragging out and becoming terrible. Also, after a certain age I'm not gonna want to play video games any more.. I'd hate to leave it when there's still more story, you know?

It's not going to end.
