Why can't KH3D be in KH 2.5 in some form?

Posted

For those of you who are going to say "ITS TOO NEW TO BE IN THE GAME!" Well, THINK ABOUT BBS F***ING Final Mix. IT RECENTLY CAME OUT IN 2011, YET ITS GOING ON KH 2.5. KH3D IS ONLY ONE YEAR YOUNGER THEN THAT. THERE'S NO REASON IT SHOULDNT BE ON THERE. I MEAN, IT HELPS EXPLAINS MORE OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN KH3, SO IT DESERVES TO BE IN A COLLECTION FOR THE SECOND PART OF THE DARK SEEKER SAGA IN THE KH SERIES, like the games for 1.5 deserved to be a in a collection for the first part of the Dark seeker saga in the KH series.

they would have to stop selling 3d at retail

I think kh2fm, bbsfm, and ddd would be perfect in 2.5.

I honestly could care less about coded.

Because Re:coded cutscenes have already taken its place, and adding KH3D cutscenes on top of that would be too generous for Square Enix.

Besides, most of KH3D will probably be recapped at the beginning of KH3 anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.

KH2D made a lot of use of the 3DS for things like the Reality Shifts and raising your Spirits. It wouldn't work on the PS3. :/

What proof is there that they're only using cutscenes from Re:Coded? They only did that for Days because of time constraints, they wanted to add the full game. I'm sure that they'll try to do the same for Re:Coded, too.

Because they're gonna remake it for Wii U three years from now.

There isn't proof, but if SE wants to get the collection out in 2014, they'll probably have to do what they did to Days to Re:coded since it would probably take quite some time to remake the game from scratch.

Because it wasn't in the credits of 1.5

We don't know for sure, we'll find out at TGS if they do that or not. :/

Probably because all the others in 2.5 and 1.5 are not selling at certain shops anymore (ex: ps2 products aren't selling at certain GameStop shops anymore), while KH3D is only a year old and is still selling like hot cakes.

They could include an enchanced version called Kingdom Hearts Re:Dream Drop Distance.

Because it wasn't in the credits of 1.5

That's actually a convincing argument.

They would have to recreate the whole game.

1. It's will be a 2 year old game on a current portable console

2. Who knows if BBS will even be playable on 2.5 and not a movie itself much less 3D

3. As many have said it wasn't teased in the credits of 1.5

I'd like to see KH3D in 2.5 and it is possible for Square to make it happen, dude if KH 2.5 does come out on PS3 with Recoded playable in HD and with KH3D playable as well,I'd be the happiest guy in the galaxy, but I just don't see that happening,it would just be too good to be true.

But on the other hand it would be nonsensical from them to remake the entire saga HD to prepare ourselves for the epic finally, but not include THE game that's closer to that finally,so who knows.

Dream Drop Distance is on a modern, handheld console that's quite popular.

its too young.

bbs fm is on the psp which is not sold at retail anymore

For starters you cant really compare BBSFM to DDD, because well DDD is actually a whole new game and its on a relatively new device. But I think DDD would take a lot of extra time then the others, time we dont have. Later on it might come to like PS4 as a FM.

As Black Star, things like Reality Shifts and Spirit interaction, which require use of the Touch Screen, wouldn't work (or at least not as well) on the PS3 (or PS4 if Square's gonna be like that). It's possible that they would make 3D a movie thing like with Days, but only time will tell.

Kingdom Hearts 3D is the only Kingdom Hearts game still sold in retail stores brand new. It is also the only title on a video game console from this generation or the next generation.

PlayStation 3 supports 3D, yes. But it would be a lot of work for a HD remaster to convert it like that. And if it's not in 3D then it would be stupid.

If Square Enix wanted Kingdom Hearts 3D on the PlayStation 3 it would have been released for the PlayStation 3 and not the Nintendo 3DS. The game started development around the same time as HD 1.5 ReMIX.

It's very easy for PSP games to be converted to PS3. Sony developed software for this.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for the PS3 in 2014.

HD remasters of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix & a Theatre Edition of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

I'm still saying Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance will be remade for Wii U 3 years from now. Before you argue Reality Shifts and Spirits: Gamepad Technology will handle it.It'd be an easier conversion being on Nintendo consoles, models won't take much work, and 3D really wouldn't matter, it's honestly not a selling point for those of us KH fans.

Lol. If they did that it would be stupid and ask the question why put it on the 3DS in the first place?

3D's rarely even touched anymore, not even on the 3DS. I think it's already in question as to why put 3D on it in the first place if it's not even being used. That's kind of like Re:CoM. Why make it on the GBA if it's gonna be remade in full 3 dimensional figures on the PS2 3-4 years later? In which case they should have done that in the first place instead of wasting money. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised to see KH3D move up to the Wii U within the next three years.Sony did it with the GoW PSP titles, SE's doing it with BBSFM and I dun see why they can't do it with 3D in a couple years.

Because you would removing part of a title.

3D is the future.

3D is becoming one of those things nobody cares about anymore, though it's slow.3D in the title really isn't necessary except for the fact that Dream Drop Distance is a set of 3 words that start with the letter D, 3D. I was aware Nomura noted that, which for me made it less about 3D on the 3DS and more about the title of the game. I have never seen anyone (I know personally) who has a 3DS use the 3D function. It's always off. This and the fact that I have no care for 3D is actually why I'm holding a high preference to get the 2DS, which is still making a joke of Nintendo for me.

How is it slow? Soon all TVs produced will be 3D.
