I have a Confession......

I Honesty don't like the Dream Eaters.........I thought they made KH3D look childish with the cute little animals and brought nothing significant to the story.......I hope we go back to awesome badass enemies like the HEARTLESS and NOBODIES.......And perhaps, a few unversed. What do you guys think??

Heartless and Nobodies can get annoying if you constantly keep fighring them. I think DDD was nice break from heartless and nobodies

And the enimes were the Nightmares, FYI: Dream Eaters are the good ones.

I haven't played DDD yet but from what I've seen I don't like the dream eaters either.

Yeah, but at least they look serious, and actually were a challenge when I fought them.......  Plus, their backgrounds about how their created is more mysterious and cool as well. then, there are they dream eaters who pop out of nowhere with little to no explanation.

I kinda liked the Dream Eaters.....yeah they're not as cool as Heartless and nobodies

But at least they have much variety in enemy types than the stupid Unversed in BBS

the enemy types of the Unversed are very few to the point most worlds in the game recycles the Unverseds from the previous world with very few exceptions like Neverland

Agreed. When i first saw them, i was like this, wanting to pet the cute little animals:

Then i was like this, wanting to roll around in the grass while holding one of them:

I have to agree with timid here, I thought the dream eaters were quite cute. Sure, maybe they weren't ''Badass'' or ''Important'', but I liked their animeish(Is that the right word?) charm ;3.

I know that....it's just I didn't take none of them as fearsome as the other enemies.....

The Dream Eaters are essentially Heartless lost in sleep, anyway.

Also, for the record, KH? Childish? THAT'S your complaint? Out of all the silly-looking Heartless running around, from the monkey Heartless to Heartless that cure other Heartless by literally tooting their own horn, and the Dream Eaters makes it look childish? I think people put too much emphasis on how 'adult' the KH series really is. Other than - arguably - the Nobodies, the KH series has always had relatively silly-looking enemies. Even the Shadows are just cute little black ant people with big bright yellow eyes.

Hey, Kaweebo.....I know they are heartless in sleep, but what i'm trying to say is that in PREVIOUS games they were a MILLION times more intimidating than the dream eaters.

What do you mean childish. KH IS ALREADY MEANT FOR KIDS SINCE IT HAS DISNEY IN IT, THATS THE POINT. Kh is meant for all audiences including kids. FF is meant for mature audiences, KH is not the same case.

That's not really the point, though. The Dream Eaters aren't supposed to be intimidating. That's the whole reason you can - for all intents and purposes - catch them like Pokemon and recruit them into your little army.

Let me make it clear that I'm not necessarily attacking your opinion, though I realize I'm coming off a bit stronger than I intended. I just see arguments like this all the time and it baffles me how much people can misconstrue something so basic. They were simply there to do something cute with the 3DS two-screen mechanic and to have variety in the enemy types. The fact that this somehow makes KH come off as 'childish' as opposed to any other enemy in the series is just incredibly strange to me. And if bringing nothing into the story is to be an argument for this, then by all accounts, 80% of DDD's story brought nothing to moving the story forward, either. Or most of the worlds in KH1 for that matter.

Spirits are the good ones.Dream Eaters are the creatures in general.

I liked the dreameaters because it was a nice break from the seriousness and they were super cute! xD but i do agree that they should progress the series with more serious looking enemies.

My main problem is that I never felt intimidated by the Nightmares or Dream Eaters. I've written before that I think the Heartless are some of the best enemies ever (they eat whole worlds!), and even the Nobodies feel like they could mess you up, simply because they're organized. The Nightmares just never felt like they could do much. The worst they can do is give you a bad night's sleep, which kind of sucks, I guess.

Honestly, the idea of the Heartless eating metaphorical dreams is more powerful than the Nightmares eating literal dreams.

I think DDD was a nice experimentation of the series, Nomura wants to explore new concepts when creating these games and if they all were the same basics they would get boring quickly (Oh look I'm fighting shadows again, wow).  As for KH being childish, it's a DISNEY and FF conglomeration.  You expect it to be childish, though I don't even think it was childish personally, just unique.  I was grand with it but I wouldn't like them in future games simply cause maxing them all out takes way too much time.

No, it's my fault....it's just that i took it the wrong way.  Anyway, i respect your opinion.

Okay, maybe the word "Childish"  may have came off the wrong way....It's just i didn't get that KH vibe from them like the previous enemies.  But I understand that we need a break from heartless and nobodies. but still....

As I do yours. I adore this series so sometimes I take it personally, I guess.

But good sir, kh is childish and kawaii in appearance.

I feel ya......I've been a fan for years.

I didn't like the way they were implemented, I  think BBS did a much better job with melding commands to get  new commands/abilities, I shouldn't have to play Nintendogs style stuff with my Dream eaters just to get  commands which I wanted.

I agree, I didn't like the spirits/Nightmares that much either, but at least they made sense in the story given. Heartless in KH3D wouldn't have.

I find Dream Eaters much better than Unversed. Design wise I just love 'em, they had different personalities too and story wise they made sense and I just love their story, they steal away dreams and plant good/bad ones in their stead. It's quite original. Unversed just looked silly most of the time and their story is "those who weren't well versed in their existence"...what?

And of course it's childish it's KH. You don't go to an outhouse and say it smells like poop.

Have you seen armored ventus nightmare, doesn't look too friendly to me.
