Its been a long time since a KH appeared on a console ( what like 7-8 years the 7th gen consoles were new back then). The power of the PS4 and XB1 would bring the KH series to heights that we would never would imagine 7-8 years ago. So I was thinking that we might see KH3 become 4x to 6x as large as KH2( story and gameplay-wise) . Due to that I kind of want the story of KH3 to be spilt into 4 parts. The first two parts we already know, Sora, Donald, and Goofy look for the Keyblade to Return Hearts ( I am assuming they are tying to bring back Roxas, Xion and Namine). Riku and King Mickey are looking for previous Keyblade wielders( Terra, Ventus, and Aqua?). Then the other two parts of the story could be about TAV and the other can be about Roxas,Xion,Lea and Namine. All four groups travel to different worlds protecting it from the organization, heartless, nobodies, unversed and ( if its possible) Dream eaters, leading up to a final battle at the Keyblade Graveyard. While you play in these groups storylines, you play as one person in the team per world( except for Sora's storyline). For example if your playing in Riku's and King Mickey's storyline you play as Riku in a one world, then you plays as Mickey in the next. Let me know if you guys like the idea of KH3 to have multiple storylines and multiple  playable characters or keep just with one storyline with  Sora?

I agree, either way I would love the storyline

I thought something similar Four parts, Two for Sora one for Riku and one for Kairi, each one searching for a member of the original trio and the final leading up to the last battle. http://kh13.com/forum/topic/47407-kingdom-hearts-3-scenario-theory-ddd-spoilers/?do=findComment&comment=964725 Problem is, the segmented story of BbS wasn't very popular. The Drop system of 3D was better accepted, but I think there were problems with that too. But, if they each experienced the entire story of the world they visit and each main character visiting different worlds it may be better

I know I read something about this somewhere lol ( not trying to copy your theory).

Fool. Many people complained about the repetitiveness of Birth By Sleep that came with multiple story lines. I think it's best to keep it a single story line.

hmmm.... ok.

good thinking.

and about the characters that are playable, i'd prefer it to be Sora only.

Just no,no more multiple scenarios.

Birth by Sleep was boringly repetitive all because of the fact that you visit the same worlds 3 times and mostly fight the same enemies and bosses with few unique ones

If I can switch between them during the gameplay while they're a part of my party....fine

But I don't want the multiple scenarios gimmick from Birth by Sleep to come back at all

for me it's better if they made it like ffxiii instead of each story for each character like BbS, it wil be easy to follow the story fo example after sora and co going to traverse town, after finish, continue with riku's story at the castle oblivion, then sora again, meet aqua, then play as aqua along side with sora then meet riku at a certain world. different characters while keep the story flows. we play different character at different events. Something like drop system but not switching it.

I get what your saying here.  I'd much prefer this line of story telling than the other two.  However, I want KH3 to be long, amazing, and focus on Sora only.  He's the main character after all, and gamewise, he's been on the wrong end of the stick.

While we're at, I hope that Nomura calms Sora's childishness down to his KH2 level. Sora was way annoying in DDD, while his childish antics in KH2 were perfect and highly acceptable. DDD made Sora look completely foolish and I hated that, because I remember Sora being way smarter than that.

I want one single part.  It felt so disjointed and incomplete in BBS with 3 stories where you only saw part of the worlds story, and if you finished one story first before doing the world on the other character files it's easy to forget what you did and miss little things.  I assumed we'd have one single story but at different points would switch out to other characters.

Like we go to RoD to get Aqua, and it's dangerous and monsters are attacking, as she lived there for 10 years, we switch to play her to lead us out

Once we're out we switch back to Sora.  Situations like that.  I'd rather individual chunks in a linear line be divided out than have to play 6 stories part way through each time.

I think one long storyline would be perfect.

Sure changing to different characters for a little amount of time is totally acceptable but the main character HAS to be Sora :)

Nah, one main storyline and that is it.

I should have explain this better. What I meant was to have each group go to different worlds, for example if TAV go to 4 or 5 worlds, Roxas,Lea ,Xion, and Namine go to other worlds that we have not seen in the game before. Each group can go to worlds that the others have not gone to( and that never will through out the game). I do not want multiple scenarios like birth by sleep but more like Dream, Drop, Distance and I agree I also want it to be mainly about Sora, from the beginning  to the end I want to play as him. But Nomura is coming up with ideas to how he can bring more playable characters into the storyline ( Which is a good idea since we played as 5 other protagonist in the series before).

Well, if KH3 is going to have a multiple storyline or not, I'd still play and enjoy the game.

I just want to play as both Kairi and Sora

Yes that is all I really have to say here ;P

It would be cool to experience the game in a couple of different perspectives, but at the same time it should keep what the other 2 main games in the series had and that's one main story.

it wont work since sora going to have to save everyone with riku and karai help it wouldn't make sense there going have to save xion/roxas/aqua/terra/ventus so how would any of them get there own story line?

If Nomura is considering it then it could happen. I was saying that after Roxas, Xion, and Namine  are saved they could have multiple storylines. Riku, and King Mickey could have theirs as well.

but as of now the only somewhat confirmed playable charcters are

Riku

Kairi

King Mickey

I think what we should see is being able to switch between characters like there is one part you play as sora then you change to riku then you change to kairi then so forth TAV RXL MDG

SoraRoxasVen13: I would like to see that too, I think they will do it like that more likely then what I suggested
