Holy crap your right..... WAIT! he was born on a Destiny islands right? maybe it was really sunny there!

Fool. He was a heartless and a Nobody, I doubt it would affect him. They don't necessarily follow the laws of the worlds of light.

Xehanort's skin is naturally tan, not because of any sort of sunlight.

Staying out of the sun for long periods can lighten our skin tones. How long humans are in the sun is the reason we have varying skin tones in the first place.

So a black person will turn white if they stay inside for their entire life?

Fool. Funny you said that, I forgot to type it. I know a man who is in his mid forties and is white, but he was black in high school.

I'm sure. Regardless, I'm sure Xehanort hasn't spent his ENTIRE life in the darkness, so...

Fool. I agree, I'm just saying that what you said originally wasn't a valid point.

Haha, its funny reading your comments guys. Even though the topic is weird, i mean like, seriously? skin colour???

I hope you arent being races 0_0

Y'know, for someone who hangs out in the darkness all the time, this guy is pretty freaking tan. I'm taking about all forms of Xehanort. Ansem should be the palest thing in the whole universe, because he practically bathes in darkness, but yet he is probably the tanest of them all. Sora & friends spend most of their time on a beach, but they're not tan. Maybe Xehanort is mixed....Idk. This is just a pointless observation. Lol. I'm just saying, if you're pro darkness, you should be like vampire pale, but it's KH, so firetruck logic, right?

This just supports my theory that Nomura is racist to dark skinned people. The main villains are dark skinned and everyone else is white. I think he is subliminally implying that he dislikes dark skinned people. Not to mention, so far, we havent seen any dark skinned people in XV.

It's simple.

If dark and light are opposites, then the realm of darkness is the opposite of the realm of light.

So when you're a dark overlord, darkness makes your melanin go wild and you get crazy tan.

Well he was born on DI so maybe he got his tan there? ;p

Maybe because of his darkness......or probably it was more sunny before than now in Destiny Island.

I know Nomura said that the longer a person is exposed to darkness, the darker the skin and the yellower the eyes become.

lol you guys are racist Xehanort is black whats wrong with that?

Michael Jackson? LolAnyway simply staying out of the sun won't change a person from black to white. He probably had the disease Vitiligo.

I've seen that as an unfortunate implication for awhile now...for darkness to be associated with darker skin...they should've only done the eyes.

Really? I felt he was just tan...And two I think why there aren't dark skinned people in XV is the same for any JRPG...Everyone is light skinned in Japan, so they are going to base characters on the community...

And three let's not forget about Barrett from Final Fantasy VII....

lol you guys are racist Xehanort is black whats wrong with that?

I'm not. I was trying to defend him. =P

Yup. Firetruck that logic.

He has more Melanin in his skin than the others.

I think his skin tone is natural, born with this colour, not a tan gathered by the sun.  So being in the sun or not doesn't change his natural skin colour.  Advances in technology change his natural skin colour.

Well...

Am i the child of Xehanort O_O?  (The bathroom light is blocking my skin color, but i'm really tan. Not too much, though.)

Just to be clear, I'm not being racist. I'm just pointing out an observation I made. In my mind, I think Xehanort is white...but I'm beginning to question it. & I wasn't really looking for an explanation, this topic was merely for fun, but you can theorize all you want.

how does that happen

Fool. He suffered some kind of back injury, so he was very limited in what he could do. He got mad at the world and shut himself in, usually having relatives getting all the supplies in. Your body takes in vitamin d from the sun, darker skin color let's in less sunlight in your body, so you would have to stay in the sun longer than a lighter person to get all the sun you need. After a while, you're skin, with lack of sun, will start to become lighter and lighter. You can really notice this with reaally white people in climate changes. I'll try to find pictures of my girlfriend in summer and winter. Her skin is slightly different colors.

Fool. This took years to happen, but it happened. He didn't have a disease.
