In the beginning of the final battle against Master Xehanort, would like the idea of Sora giving in to the darkness or going into a advanced anti form because somebody close to him gets hurt or injured.For example Sora, Riku, and Kairi ( in their keyblade armor) start the fight against Master Xehanort, and everything that happens in the Secret ending from KH2FM happens during the battle, here is how I want it to happen Sora, charges first, Riku and Kairi run from the cyclone Keyblades, Riku gets hit by the keyblades , Kairi rush to Riku to see if he is alright, Riku uses a magic barrier to protect Sora from the cyclone keyblades, the barrier explodes, Sora fights Xehanort for a while then Xehanort freezes his arm, then Kairi tries to surprise attack Xehanort, she fails and Xehanort grabs her by her helmet, Sora tries to rush to her aid but gets attack by the cyclone keyblades and falls off the cliff, Riku gets up and looks in horror as Master Xehanort Freezes Kairi whole body then drops her, Rku rushes to her side, notice that she is still alive, Sora gets back up and takes off his helmet then the camera zooms in on his face due to the fact he is anger and his eyes changes color from blue to yellow, as a sign of him giving into darkness.  Sora giving in to darkness, due to Kairi getting hurt is the only way I can see him using darkness. let me know what you guys think, would you like the idea of Sora giving into darkness or do you think it will ruin the character.

According to the KHwiki, Final Form is gained "after Sora and Roxas come to terms at the Dive to the Heart".  Of course, that can be edited by anyone. 

I personally got it in the middle of my fight with Xigbar the first time.  In my most recent play through, I got it before that...so yeah.

such insight (btw that was sarcasm) for future reference supporting your comments usually makes for a much more in depth conversation.

 what if i told you theres no need for reference cause it should be obvious af? nonetheless, im gonna explain it for you cause im awesome.  the things he mentioned already happened in bbs and only an idiot would make the ending of 2 games almost the same.

 

as for the sora using darkness and light, thats rikus specialty and it would make rikus accomplishments in controlling both light and darkness meaningless. not to mention that sora and riku would be very similar in terms of fighting style and abilities which would make them boring as characters. especially if square decides to make both playable. (i hope they do lol)

One. I don't not want the characters to be used in such cliche manner, especially not in a rip off of birth by sleep....

 

Second. Nomura said Anti-form is both a gameplay mechanic and that story wise it is connected to his time as a heartless. I does have small significance

 

Third. I just want to see angst in the destiny trio that doesn't completely revolve around riku, sora and kairi need some angst too.

 

Doesn't have to be darkness, light doesn't always mean a good thing, but I would like to see sora crack a bit for character development

 

If dream drop distance shows anything, this might happen, xion, roxas, namine, ventus and vanitias may have some effect on sora and kairi respectively. ( and let's not forget repliku to make things even more insane )

 

Not only that, but all of them are different people to who they were a year ago, and they don't talk to each other as much as they used to.

They used to talk everyday. And after everything that's happened, it has to have some strain on their friendship.

 

As for sokai(Yes I'm obssessed with them stfu lol), compare the scene on the dock to the awkward conversations they have later. It's like they hardly know each other anymore, crush or not it feels to me like there is some distance between them. But I suppose I have to wait till kh3 to see if I'm right and if the "Kairis going to wield a keyblade omg yensid what" scene is going to be as derpy as I think it's gonna be lol.

It would be pretty badass if Sora tapped into the powers of darkness. He'd be loads more deadly and plus, darkness is awesome! It's a must!

It would not be a dumb idea since creators of TV shows , Movies, Comics, Books and Video games pay homage to their earlier works all the time. it would not be a ending to the fight with Xehanort since I said in the beginning of the topic that this will be in the first part of Sora battle against Xehanort not the end to it. Sora could use darkness in KH3 but not have as many dark-based attacks like Riku, in order to make characters different for gameplay reasons.

 

Yea the only somewhat confirmed playable characters other then Sora are

Riku

King Mickey

Kairi

And that's it I am not sure about anybody else

I've had the idea of Sora giving into the darkness too.

 

I feel as if all of 3D was pushing Sora into the darkness a little more. The cover art even shows him descending. The events Sora experienced in 3D slowly took away his happy go lucky aspect and made him more serious, and in a sense, resentful. Sora isn't immune to darkness as MX planned to use him as a vessel, so Sora can give in. Sora also turned into a Heartless, so theres more of Sora being invovled with darkness.

 

I'm just hoping that after the fight with MX, Sora losses it, and turns on the gang and the final fight of the game is against Sora.

Anti Form doesn't count because it affects nothing in the story

 

Anti-Form only comes out when you use the Drive form way too much as a penalty for abusing it....but once you get the final form it completely dissappears with very very very low chances of going to the anti-form

 

Nomura said it in an interview that Anti-from only comes out when you abuse the Drive Form system...he didn't say it's related to the plot

 

And as I said before,Darkness isn't just related to evil and it's not exclusive to villains

If Sora fell to darkness, then came back into the light while still retaining his Dark powers he'd just be a Riku clone game-play wise. And the yellow eyes aren't a sign of giving into the darkness, they're a sign of being possessed by Xehanort. Black smoke is a sign of dark powers.

But just by using Darkness and Light it makes their game-play nearly identical. the cool thing about KH is that every character hat their own unique fighting style and exclusive abilities. True, Terra used Darkness and Light and felt different than Riku because Riku fights more like Ven with quick movements while Sora is slightly slower, but for me, we already know Riku is playable in KHIII and I don't need to play two characters in the same game with the same skill set. It's like them to be as different as possible. Besides, having Riku be the only character who has come back after falling to darkness (until he brings Terra out of it) makes him more special. And I don't think Sora's personality would do well using darkness. Both Terra and Riku were loners. It seems emotional isolation make it easier for someone to wield darkness. Sora just doesn't have that personality.

 

I just don't want Sora to use darkness because, well, it's Sora. Sora is the Hero of Light and Riku is the Hero of Darkness and that's how I think it should stay.

To add on to what Isamu_Kuno said, it's worth noticing that the two keyblade wielding good guys who use darkness both went about getting their dark powers through moments of weakness and giving in to temptation. The fact that they can use darkness at all is sort of a symbol of their failures. I think it speaks better of Sora if he can do what they could not, as a hero. He can save the day without having to give into anger and hatred and all that other stuff, and actually stick to his moral code. I think that demonstrates far more strength on his part, and ultimately is what makes him the one who can open the door, such as it is.

I really can't picture this happening. At all. Sora was supposed to be a light filled hero, like a savior to them all.

i mean not really though. when you think about it, the only reason sora even originally acquired the keyblade was because of ventus. he's very much an accidental hero.

riku on the other hand was described as being full of light and yet he subcumbd to the darkness fairly quickly. why would it be so irational to think that sora would fall to darkness especially since he fell to sleep in 3D

I did a little reseach and came to a conclusion that anti-form is part of the storyline Nomura confirmed that. He said that the reason Sora goes into drive form was because of the darkness that dwells in his heart from turning into a shadow heartless not only because it is to punish the player for using the drive forms. I want Sora to use darkness like how he used it in KH2

Well with that said there is darkness in every heart except the 7 Princesses of Light and forcefully Ventus. If they're gonna let Sora use darkness, then he should become a more powerful Anti-Sora, making his moveset having more abilities, faster, and stronger and his movement faster as well.
