December 12, 201312 yr I've seen your post coming miles away Tell me oh tell Mr Fortune teller how much do you know of the future Do I need to remind you of the launch of the Ps3 and how analyst spelled doom on it ??? http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=8453000 PlayStation 3 had proud history of consoles selling record numbers. It also has plenty of third-party games. Wii U has Wii and a bunch of consoles who failed to sell 50 million.
December 12, 201312 yr Author PlayStation 3 had proud history of consoles selling record numbers. It also has plenty of third-party games. Wii U has Wii and a bunch of consoles who failed to sell 50 million. the Wii sold over 100 million units the NES for all I know sold almost 50 million if not more The Ps3 is fantastic but it had an abysmal launch year with people spelling doom about it before it finally took off Look at the fact Mr bias http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=8453000 This article is from the Ps3's launch day Edited December 12, 201312 yr by Metal Snake
December 12, 201312 yr lmao , I'm done. I'm not even going to bother with that 2nd post. Anyways this is good news. Now if they can keep the momentum going, Nintendo will be on roll. More focus on the casual players (oh boy I didn't think I'd say that), then focus on some 3rd party support. Even though I stopped caring about 3rd party support, if it helps out more Nintendo, why not?

Lol. Only one Nintendo console has sold well since the NES. And that's only because it was so cheap.
December 12, 201312 yr Author Popular Post NES was from 83. Lol. Only one Nintendo console has sold well since the NES. And that's only because it was so cheap. WTF is wrong with you against Nintendo?????? Did they murder your parents maybe?? the SNES sold better than the genesis and had good sales for the time because back then gaming wasn;t as big as it is now the DS sold 150 million units....it's a handheld but it's a gaming device regardless Look, you sir is the definition of bias. I have no issue with Sony and I own every single console they made except the Vita and Ps4 But you sir represent a bias image about the site for newcomers Why don't you report Vita sales or the sales of the Vita TV you haven't reported a single negative news about Sony intentionally You worship Sony and you can't deny it And sure you'll say your rehashed statement of:I only own a Ps3 and a Ps2 and I don't have a Sony TV lol But it's clear as day.You hate Microsoft and Nintendo with a passion and have that perfect image of Sony and that they can do no wrong Look it's fine to like only a certain company,But I won't go outta my way to suck my favorite company's dick And before you say I can't say anything wrong with Nintendo. I made a rant about their American branch a while ago Edited December 12, 201312 yr by Metal Snake

Simple as that. Lol. I love Microsoft's operating systems. I love Windows 8. I love Nintendo's handhelds. Got every one of them except for the original. I don't have a Sony TV because their TVs aren't good enough for me. Nor are their Blu-ray players. Panasonic's are better.
December 12, 201312 yr Not gonna bother with 96's bullshit Good to hear that the Wii U is doing better
December 12, 201312 yr Not gonna bother with 96's bullshit Good to hear that the Wii U is doing better Nintendo's death kid! Hello!
December 12, 201312 yr Sony drone no.96! How are You!? I don't like Sony's handhelds, TVs, computers or Blu-ray players. I don't like anything Sony except for their home consoles.

But in all seriousness all consoles has their pros and cons. it doesn't matter which console is better and how many units a console is sold. it all comes down to just having fun with the systems and games you own. December 12, 201312 yr And this is the part where you should stop before this gets more serious. All consoles are good enough so i can´s see the point of fanwarfare. Anyway, by the point of Nintendo is doing great but it needs to get more games, if not even gods cannot stop the mess up. Things are like that, by the other hand, I´ll wait at least 3 years before buying one console (PS4), I did the right choice to buy my PS3 and Wii at the half of their lifespam, for now the PS4 and the Wii U don´t have game catalog, so in resume, stop messing around and live your lives peacefully.
December 28, 201312 yr WTF is wrong with you against Nintendo?????? maybe he was rape with a Wiimote, that's the only logical reason. -Just kidding Sora96
December 28, 201312 yr It's good seeing the Wii U doing better than what it was doing, maybe one more price drop will help get there sales up again
December 29, 201312 yr The WiiU sales continue rising in Japan this past 2 weeks, after the one you posted it jump to 74,903, and this past week to 109k, which brought back the so famous "Nintendo Pac-Man", if the consoles continue seeing this trend of rising 35k each week, the console would end up with around 500k(232k sold at the moment) units sold in Japan for December along, this is all in the hands that ended yesterday and the one that begins today. December 30, 201312 yr Happy to see that the Wii U is picking up in Japan .I hope they start picking up in NA and Europe as well and who cares about the Wii U hitting 50 million when your brand has 1.dominated the console market 3 times ( the NES won 3rd gen, the SNES won 4th gen, and the Wii won 7th gen.) 2. dominated the handheld market since it started 3. Many people consider the NES,SNES, N64, and the Wii to be the most successful consoles that Nintendo have ever produced The only Nintendo consoles that are looked upon as failures ( sales wise) are The GameCube and the Wii U. The Wii U however just came out last year so it is to early to say. The Wii U future is uncertain, I am not sure if it will make a comeback or not. Sony only had two successful consoles ( PS1, and PS2) the ps3 is tied with the Xbox 360 for last place 7th gen. The PS4 looks promising however. Sony's handheld, the PSP has not sold nearly as much as the DS which is the most successful handheld ever ( still love my PSP through), The Vita looks like it will put up more of a fight but only time will tell. Microsoft's consoles came in 2nd for the past two gens ( they just can't win the Japan audiences for some reason). The Xbox One looks like it will come in 2nd again, in the 8th gen. Out of the six consoles Nintendo has produced, four have been critical acclaimed ( the NES,SNES,N64, and the Wii) So to say that the NES was the only Nintendo console that sold well is kind of biased. I play on all the consoles and handhelds too so I am not a Nintendo fanboy just stating facts Edited December 30, 201312 yr by MasterRoxas13

I play on all the consoles and handhelds too so I am not a Nintendo fanboy just stating facts Atleast, I think that the reason that Xbox doesn't win over the Japan market, is because of the origin behind the console, America. The Japanese are very proud people, it is very doubtful, they would prefer a console from a country that has beaten them in war and isn't from their homeland. It is the opposite for America, the Xbox series of consoles, can set off easily because of patriotism, and easily be infront of a Sony or bad-selling Nintendo console, simply because of that. This proudness of the Japanese people will surely bring a tough situation for the PS4, sure it will do greatly because of the promises of alot of JRPGs, and fans of the console, it was a very bad move from Sony to release the PS4, first in NA, and leave it till February in Japan, after all the fans buy it, it is when the tough situation begins for it, because of the proudness of the Japanese people, and what they probably see as treason.
December 31, 201312 yr tlozbj- Not only what you said but also because Microsoft is not trying to win them over. Everything is so American focused, but they are really trying to fight for Europe, with those FIFA bundles. I am not sure who is going to win America however. That's why in a way I am happy that Final fantasy and Kingdome Hearts made its way to XBOX, they need more variety in there library, they need to take notes from Sony and try to offer different types of games to gamers. I think the PS4 will do fine in Japan, probably better then what they did in America, Since Microsoft is not as big in Japan as it is in America or Europe. December 31, 201312 yr That's true, they just stay with one audience, unlike the other 2, atleast now they are trying to reach a farther audience, which seemed to have worked, since Final Fantasy XIII, had quite some good sales on Xbox 360, enough to make Square-Enix decide to make their games bi-platform, lets hope they learn and do more similar things, and so everybody will be should be happy, and not only will everything run nicely, but the console wars may even come to a end, well that is if Nintendo, also enters and begin fixing the broken relationships with 3rd party developers.
December 31, 201312 yr Trust me man these Consoles wars will only get worse when Nintendo actually tries to compete with Sony and Microsoft, instead of Sony and Microsoft fanboys spreading lies and trolling the internet, there will be Nintendo fanboys also joining the other fanboys. Nintendo is acting like they are not competing in the same market as them, but in reality they are. Yea they are more focus on a younger audience, but that does not mean they have to stop trying to bring mature titles ( not just shooters or action-adventure games) to the Wii U and 3DS. Then the problems go to back to half of third-party devs who are still mad at Nintendo from how Nintendo use to bully 3-party devs back in the NES and SNES days. But some of these Devs just keep making some bull excuse for why they can't port their games to the Wii U and/or the 3DS. Take Minecraft for example this game started on PC then it was ported to the Xbox 360, PS3,PS Vita,PS4, and Xbox one, where is the Wii U and 3DS version? their excuse was " We are to busy right now to port it to the Wii U at the moment". So the devs who made Minecraft where not to busy to make PS4,Xbone and PS Vita version but they just suddenly got overwhelmed at the moment so they won't bring it to the Wii U and 3DS? and it is not only the third-party devs fault. But also Nintendo's. They almost never make a attempt to bring third-party devs to the Wii U. Take Square-Enix for Example You, Know it, I know it, the rest of the members on KH13 know it but, KH3 should have been ported to the Wii U not the Xbox One, but the reason why it was never ported is because Nintendo did not try to at least pay off Square - Enix to make a port.Microsoft paid them off that is why you are seeing a KH3 port to the Xbox One and not the Wii U. Think about . In the Kingdom Hearts 3 announcement trailer why did it only say that it was coming to the PS4 and not both? I feel like it is because Microsoft paid SE after, Sony's insane press conference, to make a port to the Xbox One . But that could have been a Wii U port if Nintendo would have just jumped on it sooner but they are just to damn prideful. Nintendo needs to change how they deal with Third-party devs. they are kind of essential to having a successful console now of days

Nintendo needs to change how they deal with Third-party devs. they are kind of essential to having a successful console now of days Bayonetta 2 seems to be a good beginning and example about Nintendo bringing in more mature titles as exclusive, there is also this supposed WiiU third-party exclusive coming next year, that will somehow be similar to Bayonetta 2, hopefully it is also something "mature" so that people can shut up about Nintendo being kiddy, and Nintendo brings in a bigger audience. http://mynintendonews.com/2013/12/31/unannounced-third-party-game-exclusively-hitting-wii-u-in-2014/#comment-712732 Not only because of those days, but because of the N64 and that supposed code that Yamauchi implemented so that their would only be quality games on their consoles, which brought the opposite effect and hatred from the 3rd party, which then jump onto the Sony bandwagon, when they saw nothing like that code, and that Sony were using Cd instead of cartridges. Indeed, a lot of developers just invent a excuse to not port over to Nintendo consoles, like that Mojang one that you mentioned, Square Enix's about DirectX11 and KH3, when we already know that the WiiU can use DIrectX11 features, thanks to the creators of Candle, the indie developers Tiki Studios, it is shoulf be embarrassing, for Square Enix, that a indie developer takes down all of their lies, with only one interview and game. Well not exactly proudful,Nintendo can't just go throwing money at any 3rd party developer, to receive a game, they are not like the other two, that have more businesses to suffice, and not go bankrupt, though Sony is going down that route, after throwing so much money to 3rd parties during the PS3's lifetime. Nintendo just can't go throwing money around, but for things like KH3, it is something they should had done, since they should know how beloved that series is on their platforms, Square Enix should also know that, they pretty much left in dissapointed half of their fanbase, not only because of KH3, but because of the collections. They could atleast brought the collections over, with some extras, in compensation for not bringing over KH3, but no, they just ignore part of their fanbase, with some dumb and lame excuses. But anyway, SE should meet its demise, if it continues going the path by which it walks. Well they say, that they don't like throwing money around, since then a vicious cycle begins, but that they instead try to make friendships/relationships, with the 3rd parties.
