2.5 has KH2 final mix in it and Birth by sleep final mix in it and its coming out in 2014. KH2 final mix makes me hyped only, Birth by Sleep final mix is like a bonus.

 

I am grateful that KH3 was announced to finally being in development. but we don't even know when it is even coming out. We just estimate it is somewhere between 2015-2018.But no solid release date ( for now at least.)

 

I have not even played Re:coded or 3D yet so that is another reason why I am not super hyped for KH3.

 

So since KH2.5 is coming at the end of this year, the fact that I have not played Re:Coded and 3D yet, and because the release date is up in the air.I am not so hyped for KH3.

 

let me know what you guys think. Are you more hype for KH2.5 more so then KH3, due to fact that it is releasing this year or do you think I am crazy lol.

I am in fact much more interested in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 than Kingdom Hearts III. However, I do not feel that BBSFM is a "bonus." It's a full-fledged experience, and I actually want to play that game in the collection a tad more than KH2FM, since BBS is the game that got me into the series in the first place.

It`s cause 2.5 is closer away

Rush-I did not mean it like that, I understand that it is a full fledged experience, it is just that I think that having Birth by Sleep final mix in 2.5 is like adding thanksgiving  with buffet or having a second wife ( bad analogy lol), you putting more on top of something that already has everything . It is just that KH2 Final mix is like the best your going to ever get out a KH game until KH3 comes out so that is why I said it ( no offense).

I'm more excited for 2.5 for one reason:

I actually have a console to play it with.

 

I didn't get a PS3 until its generation had ended. The same will probably be true for the PS4. I don't have any desire for an XBone.

Yes. I have wanted KH2 Final Mix and BBSFM for the longest. They are my 2 favorite KH games. 

Seeing as how KH3 is for PS4/Xbone only, you're in the same boat as I am. 2.5 is going to be sweet. 

Not really when you consider the fact we at least know KH2.5 will be out this year and we know whats coming and what to be excited about

Unlike KH3 were we know next to nothing except maybe one or two features being discussed and the fact the games in development so theres nothing much to get hyped over 

Not really odd, considering KH2FM is usually ranked the highest among fans alone, BBS is also typically ranked high for those who appreciated the difference from the norm (commands/melding/command boards/arena VS abilities/synthesis/gummiship/OC).  It's also coming out sooner than KH3, so it makes more sense to spend energy being hyped for that rather than KH3.  Usually the highest levels of excitement would be felt the closer you are to the release (we're much closer to 2.5s release rather than 3) and when there's new information buzzing (which we haven't really got)

im more excited for KH 2.5 than KH 3 for 2 reason:

 

1 I have a ps3

 

2 I can finally play KH2

This so yeah also it is going to be so much sooner

It's not too weird because it's closer to it's release than KH3 (unless KH3 manages to come out this year,but as far as we know I doubt it)

I'm not really hyped for KH3 right now.We know 2.5 is coming in 2014,but we don't know when KH3 will be release and considering how long Square have been working on FFXV who knows if the same thing might happen to KH3.So yeah,I'm also more excited for 2.5 then KH3

kh3 is like that unknown thing way out in the distance that you know has some serious potential to be amazing but you've already played the games from 2.5 before, you already know they're gonna be amazing so of course you're gonna be more excited about it!!!

I cannot agree with you . I mean ,for me, KH 2.5 HD ReMIX is not something "amazing" (apart from the Re:Coded "movie" ). I am more hyped about KH3 .

I guess hype will rise for KH3 when we get story trailer ^^

I'm hyped for being able to play KH2FM and BBSFM.

 

I'll be even more hyped if they get the Mirage Arena fully working online.

I think you have a good point.

 

I'm more hyped for 2.5 right now as well because we actually know we're getting it this year, but I know for a fact that once we get near the release of KH3, that (for me) the hype will be FAR more intense than any other game that I've been hyped for in my entire life. Because of the trailers, pics, demos of the game, etc.

 

Not to mention that I've been waiting 8 years just so far for KH3. 10+ once it's actually released...

I don't think it's odd of you at all  in fact, I am slightly more looking forward to 2.5 ReMIX too, since I atm am replaying Final Mix II in anticipation and really looking forward to the game getting an HD facelift^_^'

 

But I don't hope that we have to wait till the end of the year D: don't even joke about that!
