What are your opinions on Anti Form?

How much impact should it have in the story?

Or should it be just a form?

Should it have more skillsets?

Or is it good the way it is?

Should it be choosable?

Or should stay as a consequence?

Should It Even Be In KH3?

In my opinion I think it has potential to make a good storyline since it completely unique from how other sentient beings uses the Darkness.

Unlike everyone else, Sora uses the Darkness the same way a Shadow and a Neo Shadow would use it. I don't think it should be wasted and only used in KH2. I also think it can be either in KH3 or in the next saga to have a storyline, but I would like it a a choosable form in KH3.

I also believe it should have the ability Block and have many sorts of Abilities. But it shouldn't be able to wield a Keyblade but just use his claws and Dark powers.

Anyone agrees or disagrees with me feel free to comment.

Edit: Anti Form also reminds me of Powerwilds' aggressive fighting now that I think about it.

I hope its in KH3! I really liked it :) But I don't think it should have an impact in the story because its just another form... But if it had, I'm sure Nomura has a great sory to tell xD

That's cool. I have my doubts of this, but I can hope.

I just find the form different from the others, but with little to no explanation of it.

I wouldn't like it ,that's for sure .

I think it will be in Kingdom Hearts 3 in some way, maybe with the other drive forms as well (but different from how they were used in Kingdom Hearts 2). Depending on way the anti form will come up in the next game, it could have more skill sets, but it mustn't.However the form shouldn't be overpowered unless Sora is able to control it in some way (But I highly doubt that since it is Sora!). I don't think it will have a real impact in the story of KH3 itself, maybe in a possible next saga scenario.Although i really would like the Anti-Form HAS a Story impact, considering that Sora might obtain the "skill" to control the anti-form in some way (not completely because it is the power of darkness and Sora shouldn't be using it, it doesn't fit him in my opinion) during the events of Kingdom Hearts 3 it would really add some drama (because it is darkness and i think it will have a recoil sooner or later).

Just an upgraded model and make it selectable (in the chance drive forms do return), I'm all set. It doesn't need changes to its abilities or strengths and weaknesses.

I think that's what Sora should look like as a heartless.

I think it definitely should be in KH3. It would be badass in those new graphics.

Although they need to change it so we can heal while in it.

Or make it interesting to where we can't "heal" per se, but each of the fast swipes siphon life from the victim.

They can do so much with this.

Sora still has it within him, so why not. DDD made soras darkness pretty obvious

Maybe when and if Sora has to learn to fully master the darkness inside him to strengthen his Light powers then maybe we'll fight Anti-Form like how Naruto fought Dark Naruto at the Waterfall Of Truth, but I can't think of much more

We all know that we'll have to look into Sora's Darkness sooner or later and I just feel Anti Form will be a good start of it.

Hmm, this does sound very interesting, and I do agree that the Anti-Form is pretty badass.  And I agree it should have an impact on the story, mostly because it has to do with the darkness in Sora's heart.  And also, they should make a much bigger improvement in the form's defense stats, because that was the only major flaw the Anti-Form had: you could attack relentlessly, but as soon as you were attacked, you'd die in two or three strikes.  Anyways, the Anti-Form has some nifty potential, and it would be awesome to see how Nomura expands on that. :)

I will rate KH3 the #1 KH game if Nomura does this and maybe more.

I want to see the look of it in the new engine :3

I want it to make a return, it was strangely my favourite drive form....except that one time against Xigbar when I had 1hp left

I wanna see it back with the new engine! :D and I'm surprised at how few hate posts I saw on this topic.

Same here :) though it's funny that you mention the Xigbar fight, cuz I too turned Anti against him. This was when he had only one bar of health left, so in the split second after I had transformed I thought "NO! I am NOT losing to you now! CHAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGEEEE!!!!!", after which I just spammed the attack button untill he gave up life xD

It doesn't need a storyline. Have Sora embrace the fact that the darkness inside him is not evil, like Riku, and you don't need to justify it. Then, Anti-form can be chosen instead of forced upon you at random like in KHII because now Sora has dealt with his issues. But, by all means, keep it.

I mean, seriously.

How would you like it to impact the story?

Any ideas?

How would you like it to impact the story? Any ideas?

It could give him somewhat of an immunity to the Darkness without Anti Form active, making Xehanort's possible tricks of dragging Sora into Darkness less effective. It could also get Sora to pass obstacles that he couldn't do or take negative effects without it.It could also be part of the solution to stop the Heartless from continuing collecting hearts.So. Do you have any ideas?

I haven't really started to think about it until this topic was brought up for some reason, as good as an idea as this is, but I do have a few so far.

I think I might have mentioned this before, but it'd be cool if he actually acknowledges it in the main story (possibly in the next saga), and starts using it more because of (x) reason. It starts out as him thinking it as a reliable source of power, though it taps into the darkness in his heart and turns him darker slowly over time. Kind of similar to how Riku had to tap into his darkness. (It won't happen but it'd be cool lol.)

Maybe it could also allow him to manipulate the Heartless in some way, or become heartless "camouflaged" for a short while.

The first idea is more negative so here's a positive effect: It could allow Sora to be able to use dark portals while in Anti...Which would be interesting.

I'll be highly disappointed if they ignore Anti for the rest of the series. It would almost seem pointless for them adding it in KH2.

He started sniping as soon as I went anti form, running around the area like crazy hoping I don't get hit I survived and beat him in the end though

It was really cool to be randomly Anti-sora, nothing to do with the story, no explaining why. I would love it if something like this returns

Having some of the Heartless under his control, huh? Well he does seem to turn into a Heartless himself (although we're not sure whether it's him turning into a Heartless or just using Dark powers)

Well considering there's no one else on the Light's side to use portals (which is a huge advantage on the Darkness side) that's is an interesting idea

I would also feel like a letdown for these forms to be in one game and gone the next since there's no good reason for him to not use his Form clothes (Also since he's most likely getting new cloths they could have the power to use the Darkness in his heart by choice)
