How would you feel if the Kingdom Hearts HD remasters were ported to the XBOX?

I wouldn't care.

Eh I don't really care how is it really going to effect my playing of the game probably not by much or to none at all I have some friends who had a PS2 when the originals came out and then went to Xbox when the 360 was out and don't have a PS3 to play the HD games but some of them do have a PS3 so if they wanted they could play it but anyway I don't care I mean Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out on both the PS4 and the Xbox One so that's probably a hint that all future installments of the series is going to come out on both of those systems as well so sure why not put it on the Xbox if Square has the time to do it then why not but it's probably more complicated then that but who knows really.

I dun really care. Sure we'd open up the fanbase, but it's not like it's necessary. I'd be fine if it got both sides of complaints to shut the hell up.

I don't really care. I guess it would be nice, but it wouldn't affect me since I wouldn't buy an XBox. Sooo yeah

How about an X-rated scene between two characters of your choice. Appease everyone and generate tons of money for SE

"Downscaling it"... The 360 and PS3 run most games essentially the same. Sure, there were differences one way or the other early on this gen (FF13 ran better on PS3, but Skyrim ran better on 360, for instance) but now they are basically the same.

 

I think it could handle remastered 10 year old games.

Not talking about how the game performs, I'm talking resolution. They might have to downscale it to 576p like FF XIII. But regardless, there's no point porting it to the oldest and most outdated video game console on the market. I can't see them porting it full stop. I don't even see it supporting PlayStation Now.

Agreed, there is little point in porting them, as the fanbase is larger on PS3 and many Xbox fans have already given up on the 360.

 

FF13 was an exception, as 13-2 had the same resolution for both platforms. The 360 would have handled the games fine, maybe a lower frame rate. I would like to be optimistic and hope Square Enix might surprise us and release the KH games on Playstation Now.... But it prob won't happen.

I'd feel kind of gipped. The biggest reason I bought a PS3 was to play 1.5. I'd prefer it if stayed that way, at this point. It's a great system, anyway.

- People should be able to play on whatever brings them enjoyment. You can argue about semantics all day, but the result will be the same in the end. It's just a bunch of machines to play games on. There is no winner. People will do what they want, and you can't dictate what they do.

It doesn't affect you if someone plays xbox . At all.

 

- It's incredibly immature, like fighting over two marbles, they're just pieces of glass in the end.

 

But anyway, if they did port it I wouldn't care, the company can do want they want and people can play want they want. There is no logical reason why I should care about something so trivial.

Being a PS fan, I do like the fact that Kingdom Hearts is kinda exclusive to PS but with KHIII coming to XBONE, I feel that the collections should make their way to both 360 & ONE (and PS4) to make sure all new people are on equal playing field before starting KHIII

hmmm I don't care, either way it's fine although it's kind of pointless since every xbox owner i know has upgraded to the next generation but most of the guys i know that own a ps3 are so backlogged with great games it's pointless to upgrade not hating on xbox, i love a game of halo with some friends but that's what's been happening

It doesn't really matter to me. I don't have an Xbox but even so it still wouldn't be of huge significance.

I think the whole idea of forcing Kingdom Hearts III onto the Xbox One is a stupid idea, but I would be fine if they started to bring the remasters to XBox 360 users. Microsoft has been handling things in a questionable manner lately, so if they had any common sense left, they would at least try to get 360 ports of the HD remasters BEFORE getting Kingdom Hearts III. I mean, what Xbox user in their right mind would know what Kingdom Hearts even is, unless they owned a PS3 as well, but that defeats the whole purpose of the argument, so it may as well have never been announced for Xbox users to begin with! But I digress. If Square has a genuine interest in sharing this franchise with the other half of the HD generation of gaming, then that's fine by me. This series is worth sharing...I just wish it was shared in a much more logical manner.

It would be a waste of Square's time and effort to port the two games.
