as much as i love Sora as a character and have enjoyed his games. I just wish he wasn't returning for the next game.

 

Sora's had a ton of games, all good, but for god sakes just give him some closure, let him stay at the island with Kairi and Riku. It feels pretty upsetting to know he'll just have to leave his home again and again to face danger.(as long as SE makes money)

 

besides there are so many more things to do with different main characters. different interesting stories to tell, it gives the freedom. or heck if they wanted to have a solid connection to sora make the main character his son running around with Max and either Huey Dewy or Louie. I mean look at how interesting Roxas's story was and the stories in BBS, never possible if sora was the main character, they gave us different interesting views of the KH universe. and while i know we will probably get some new characters with spinoffs(or current side characters) it will still be limited because it will have to be tied back to Sora

Yeah....we won't even get Kingdom Hearts IV for what like 8-10 years. I don't care about that yet.

So long as he's Kingdom Hearts II Sora and not that Kid Sora I've had to play as for a majority of the series, I'm cool with it

Nah, maybe after Kingdom Hearts III, but the Xehanort Saga IS Sora's story. I did like Roxas, but his story is kinda over now.

I am in no way, shape, or form disappointed that Sora will be the main character. I for one, love Sora. But I have to admit, he will get old. Like all characters, they have there time in the spotlight. He will eventually lose his, and it will give way to a new era, in due time.

Fool. Sora makes Kingdom Hearts. He's the average guy who represents us all.

No because Sora needs to be shown justice as a boy,man,warrior, and Keyblade Wielder so you can ask me that when he's a keyblade gliding, master-level swordsman, a excellent mage, and a gravity defying acrobat boy with long hair that makes him look all sexy like a brown-haired Minato Namikaze who's found the truth of Kingdom Hearts

I am disappointed, I kinda want to play as someone like Noctis, someone dark yet cool looking and awesome.

that isn't to say Sora isn't some of these things but it would be my preference to have new main characters and just give the kid a happy ending and move on to someone else who is chosen and give Sora a cameo here and there

If Sora is in Kingdom Hearts IV, I'd be cool with that.

I mean, if they let Sora have his happy ending, it doesn't mean:"Nope, Kingdom Hearts is over. Bye."

 

Maybe in IV, they can have it take a loooooong time after Sora passed and something else creates conflict. And throughout the adventures, you see homages to Sora and co.

 

 

But III still hasn't been made, so it's a looooong ways off to start thinking about IV.

If Square can construct more good story lines with Sora, I'm okay with Sora sticking around for another arc. Though, I must admit it, having the next arc being about someone like Sora's apprentice, with Sora still playing a major part in the story, would also be fun.

I personally don't have a problem with Sora remaining the protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series, so long as Nomura crafts his story with care.  And variances to the narrative like Roxas and the others provide a good change of perspective, so that way, when we control Sora again, we're eager to bash away at Heartless with him!  So yeah, I'm sure Nomura knows what he's doing, and I'm confident he'll provide plenty of twists and turns for us in the next several decades.

I love Sora, Roxas, Ventus, and Vanitas. On topic, I just can't see myself falling in love with another person who replaces Sora.

Sorry man but Sora's grown with me how can you find him annoying? that kid is a boss!!!! He's never done anything that's annoyed me o.O Nomura's said it a million times, It's Sora's story, all other games tie in and it just makes the whole thing epic why would you want a new main character when the current one is so good? and he's growing better and better as he experiences new things. if you got what you wanted and the next game had the suckiest main character would you be disappointed? Why not just enjoy Sora's story like you always have? You're on a forum about the game for the main character you're dissing The logic just doesn't make sense to me, I get where you're coming from, I like playing the games from a different perspective and there can be a million non-numbered titles with other characters but I think Sora is the main character and therefore should be the main in the numbered titles (call me silly )
