Nomura has to implement death in KH sooner or later

Posted

And before you say he can't.Dude Disney movies had many death scenes and some of them are even shown in KH like the death of Mufasa in the Lion King has been shown in the Pridelands's opening in KH2

Heck,Barbossa has been killed at the end of Pirate of the Carribean's  Port Royal in KH2

And I know I know that Kerchak's death scene has been totally retconned in KH1's deep jungle, but Clayton did die

I doubt that every single person in the Kh universe who gets killed become a heartless and a nobody,it has to be limited to the mechanics that had been introduced about their birth in the previous games

Someone has to die, sacrifices have to be made...Eraqus should stay dead and never come back otherwise it'll be(spoiler in white) like how Hope's mother was brought back to life in Shitning Returns FFXIII and I don't want any inspiration from that piece of shit to be in my Kingdom Hearts

Disney isn't new to the subject of death as so many Disney movies had their own death scenes. And Kingdom Hearts has to let someone die if they want to keep the story going and have more chances to introduce more characters to the series

The Keyblade War is coming. You can't have a war without casualties.

  • Master Eraqus has been dead for a dozen years in the story so far- let that satisfy your lust for blood

Hasn't Eraqus already died on BBS?

Also, Pirates of the Carribean's is more of a "grown-up" world, "normal" Disney movies don't kill off characters, like seriously.

Although you do make a very good point there.

"And before you say he can't" I don't think anyone was going to, but ok.

I'm sure Xehanort (well at least one of the damn incarnations) will die then you may sing songs of praise.

There's also the Riku Replica or Repliku.

Eraqus is said to be inside of Terra.....even though he was killed not turned into Heartless or nobodies

Also,Mufasa DIED...he's dead gone can't come back and that's a movie rated for Everyone for Kids and above

If Mufasa can die so should other characters

Xehanort is going to die. Derp.

Bet my cents they'll bring him back waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the road in the third saga if there will be one

I mean they made the dude materialize himself using his other incarnations.

But yeah, too sad, but the main antagonist will much likely die, no my good sir?

What about Sora and Kairi?  Namine and Roxas only exist because they technically died, and then roxas, namine and xion had to technically die so that they could be whole again.

Exactly,Nomura shouldn't be afraid of killing characters, which in turn will make the story more epic and dramatic and gives the hero,Sora, yet another motivation to stop the main antagonist.

I hope Xehanort die,but Nomura will find a way to bring him back for one last hurrah in the third saga if there will be one

Roxas and Namine didn't die, they merged with Sora and Kairi, heck Roxas was able to share his hidden memories about Xion with Sora,if Roxas was dead he would've never been able to do that

Death has to be well done to be meaningful in order to be impactful, and Kingdom Hearts doesn't need it. There is no point to add in death just to be edgy or to be hardcore. It's not being afraid of killing characters, why do we need to kill characters? Death is an extremely cheap way to add forced drama in any form of media if not done correctly, and this series has enough weird stuff as it is for something like death to be another factor :P

theres already "death" in Kingdom Hearts

I didn't say it should have death just to be edgy!!!

I said it can add more to the story and gives more motiviation for the heroes to destroy the villain.

Do I need to remind people of Aerith's death in FFVII or Zack's death in Crisis Core.

Those games weren't too edgy but those death scenes made you love those characters because of their noble sacrifice.

if Zack didn't die,Cloud might've never had the will to have the skills of an actual SOLDIER 1st Class and be Zack's living legacy....his will of becoming Zack's living legacy gave him enough power to defeat Sephiroth and save the world.

The true cheapness is the abusing of Deus ex machina to bring characters back to life when they shouldn't come back

Master Eraqus has been dead for a dozen years in the story so far- let that satisfy your lust for blood

Didn't they say he's inside Terra or some bullshit like that?

Eraqus should be considered 100% dead at this point,he didn't get his heart extracted to become a heartless,he had a death stab in the back and that moment was actually sad not because of Eraqus I hate him,but because of what it did to Terra

I find the issue of introducing characters which shouldn't be there in the first place Cough Xion Cough

Sora has a motivation though, he wants to save the world and his friends, why does there need to be death?

I dunno it just seems like a typical way to add drama which isn't there, he already has a motivation, no death needs to be involved.

Are we gonna ignore the woman getting her heart ripped out in the KH manga?

Death is already in KH.

there has been in khX: http://www.khinsider.com/kingdom-hearts-x/worlds/daybreak-town

oh factor, I was expecting KH spoilers or something. Need memory wipe... now...

Roxas was within his heart in a dream, he wasn't in the real world

I agree with you Metal Snake. I think that KH3 should be a little darker than the other games, so I hope that we get more deaths. This is was done really well in KH2, with Mufasa and Barbosa dying, and Goofy almost dying. But the story became really interesting when both Axel and Ansem the Wise sacrificed themselves for the heroes. And all of the villains died too in the end. But now, neither Axel, Ansem, nor any of the villains have actually died, and we have to see them all again in KH3! And after KH2 i thought we were done with Roxas and Namine, you know they had their happy ending and all. But apparently, not only are they not gone, but we have to make them complete beings! (sigh)

Umm,he said disappeared,not died.

he said erased not disappeared and then, in-game, he died in the scene, that usually means death

But he's one of the destined wielders to come back and I'm kinda sure he's part of the seven lights

i dont know if this counts but what about xion she died and i swear if anyone makes a comment about her not being  human i will f****** kick  your a**

She just went back to Sora. That's not dying. At least to me, it isn't. Just saying.

But he's one of the destined wielders to come back and I'm kinda sure he's part of the seven lights

The opening isn't canon to who the lights will be. So maybe not. We don't know

It looks like its going to be:

Sora

Lea

Kairi

Aqua

Ventus

Mickey

Riku

She ISN'T human, BUT She is one of my favorite characters and the fact that she isn't human isn't a bad thing. She can grow her own heart and personality. Her death mattered alot to me. As of right now she is a part of sora/kairi.
