I don't remember. Lol.

When you get the pattern down it's not that hard. I'd go for Normal.

too easy i can beat him when he was unlock and with kingdom key.

Compared to the Sephiroth battle in the first game, this battle is really easy especially if you exploit the fact that he has horrible defenses and know when to stop your combo and when to counter him.

Heck the rematches with the organization members in KH2 Final Mix are more harder than Sephiroth

Depends on which game you're talking about. I found both battles against him quite hard the first times I fought him. Nowadays, the KH2 battle ain't that hard, while I still trouble with the KH1 battle.

Edit: Saw now that the title was KH2 Sephiroth, ops. Anyways, he ain't to hard.

Depends on which one you mean. I needed to be level 100/99 for both and had Ultima Weapon for both. KH2 Sephiroth was harder for me personally. The difference between the two wasn't big though. So they were both very hard for me and it heavily relied on luck rather than skill, but it's still nothing compared to Mysterious Figure from BBS.

I agree, it only took me two attempts to do KH1 Sephiroth, where it took me quite a few with KH2 Sephiroth. But once you got the attack patterns down, then it is easier to do in both accounts.

If you have all your growth abilities maxed out its super easy with out them it about average easy if you know his patterns.

I died at least a hundred times, so try and guess.

Sephiroth is easy. Level 1 -challenge is a little difficult.

In KH II he's normal . In KH I he is a pain in the assassination .

Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2, once you know his pattern, and if you have all of your Growth Abilities at least at Lv2, you should have no problems (:

Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts literally kicked my ass. Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II figuratively kicked my ass. But, when you get the pattern down right, Sephiroth is pretty easy. Especialy compared to Kingdom Hearts.

Last time I fought him I thought he was hard. And I only played through KH II like 3 times. So... yeah, I haven't practiced that much in the KH II battle system.

Though he's easier to handle than the KH 1 version, I still find Sephiroth in KH2 to be hard.  I remember needing Ultima weapon to beat him, and that's just on standard.

He's super hard when I decided to use Sora's kingdom key against him. I somehow defeated him with the weakest keyblade in the game. Interesting isn't it?

@Shawn Shelby  Yes it is.

Against Sephiroth is very easy, if you can read the movements of attack and push the button with the right timing

You should put Critical since it was the Strongest mode he gets...

Anyways,i beat him on Hard mode...

I say hard because trust me, if you are under leveled, it is way harder to get the beating done on Sephiroth.  I mean sure, the pattern is easy to learn, and you can halt his Heartless Angel attack by attacking him quickly, and even when he does that, you can just use a Megalixir to get all your HP and MP back, but if you are way low on level, steer clear of him.  But yeah, I'd say hard is the difficulty to go. :P

KH1 seph is harder only because KH2 game mechanics, if KH1 and 2 would have completley the same gameplay, KH2 one would have be harder.

Anyway, easy as pie, (since pie is better than cake!) I defeated him on level lot lower than level 50 on PM and CM(not sure what is harder, since KH2FM has some abilities and the limit form that make the battle easier, and the PM one is on the original KH.)

That, and Sephiroth's defense stats are horrible,he can't take combos to the face

And yeah the improved gameplay will of course play it's part

on my second run I defeated Sephiroth even before I reach the last world in the game
