Square Enix has released their financial results for the period ending March 31, 2014. This document confirms that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is still scheduled for 2014.

Well it'll be released in North America, Australia and Europe only hours/a day apart as per usual. I'd expect the Japanese release about two to three months earlier.

They might, this might be their first attempt at a worldwide release date. Similar to what Game Freak did with Pokemon X & Y.

I'd like that but I'd expect that with Kingdom Hearts III, not a HD collection. They could have done a worldwide release date for FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster since it even had new data from the English version in the Japanese version but they decided to wait almost three months. Having them not delay the English version three months like they did with HD 1.5 ReMIX would be good enough for me personally.

It will be fun to see whose prediction will be correct at this year's E3.  I say it will be released in October for countries outside Japan. Japan will probably get it in July or August. 

Well, I guess this was the KH HD 2.5 ReMIX info we were supposed to be expecting. And what a surprise, it's that we'll be getting it this year and that it will be at E3. Wow! That's.....exactly all we knew about it to begin with!!

Okay, now it's almost 100% certain that 2.5's release date will be revealed at this year's E3! It has to be! X_X

I agree totally. Many never thought KH would come to Xbox 1, but it did and shocked a lot of people. I try to keep an open mind .

They could be testing the waters. Seeing how it goes on a smaller project before trying it on something like kh3.
