June 20, 201411 yr Well To be honest, They might release it in july/august or when the playable event takes place (The one mentioned at the home page).

Me either When i went to gamestop on release day of 1.5, they told me i could just hold my order and then pick it up at the store and i could of still gotten the art book. Which i was disappointed in .

June 20, 201411 yr Yep, Riku's probably gonna be on it so I'm hype! (When I first got 1.5 I stared at the box art for like 5 minutes, mainly on Riku )

June 21, 201411 yr Even though you guys probably won't care, I have a great idea for the 2.5 box art (I posted this on another kh forum) . So I thought that they should keep the same KH2 final mix with the pillars but zoom out and on the upper left they could put Terra, Aqua, and Ventus on pillars and on the upper right they could put a data block and Jiminy Cricket and his journal on another set of pillars. Somehow they might add also maleficent and pete.

They THINK it will boost sales, but in reality, it will BARELY help, if it even does. Reason being: A KH fan with a PS3 will buy it no matter what time of year it is. So their decision makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and only infuriates their fans even more. Sigh....

It's not so much the fans. It's the casuals and people who heard good things who will pick it up. Holiday seasonal time just enhances because many parents want to buy kid friendly games for their children. KH fits that even though it story doesn't so much any more. It's also marketing Square has to ready up, get the rating, and starting their marketing (not like they will do much). I expect marketing to be the same as 1.5 barely any commercials just word of mouth and random casual buy. It's what they want in this time period it's wiser to maximize sales especially sicne it helps budget ports to next gen consoles and/or PC. Or even KH3's development. June 22, 201411 yr I'm expecting another art book case version. I liked that for 1.5 but most people weren't very accepting of it.
June 23, 201411 yr For the preorder bonus, I honestly hope we don't get another art book. It's not like I disliked the first one, it was actually pretty cool! But I feel like one of the main reasons they did it was because of KH1 and to show how far they've come from that. It'd be cool if we could get a soundtrack, poster, maybe multiple things of some sort. I think one of my favorite KH preorders was the one for KH3D (Mark of Mastery Edition). They threw a lot of cool stuff in there because it was the 10 year anniversary, and it was neat.
June 24, 201411 yr They'll probably release it the closer the game is getting to being released. As for pre-order bonuses, I'm hoping for a poster of the box cover artwork..I never really was a fan of the artwork books, I want something to hang on my wall.
