I guess I just want a significant other so I won't feel as lonely and so I'll be a bit more happy about life. I want someone to kiss,hug, and be a bit more intimate with. I mean I've made friends with girls before but I have no idea how someone gets a girlfriend instead of just making a friend. Like can someone help me with this.

Dude you don't sound pathetic. Honestly I was in your situation before January. I had been introduced to a girl before but I wasn't really interested. I was then talking to an old friend of mine who was in college and she introduced me to one of her friends and we hit it off immediately. So for me it was just searching for that person and asking them out if they seem interested. If your having trouble noticing the signs if they like you with me I noticed the giggle. She giggled a LOT on our first date.

The best option would be to get a female friend who can coach you and give you advice because honesty the best advice about girls, are from girls so it is a good place to start

 

its not pathetic its a basic human desire so you should not feel bad about yourself .I am going through the exact same thing your going through so I understand how you feel. What worked for me when I was in H.S was that I would just become somewhat friends with a girl that I liked then I would ask her if she wants to go out with me or hang out sometime. Of course not all girls are going to say yes but eventually one will, so keep trying man.

Just ask a girl out on a date, like if you're interested in any of your girl friends just send them a text asking if they want to go see a movie or something

It may seem hard to ask someone out but it really isn't when you break it down. I'm an introvert and I used to be shy so I had to really work up to asking someone stuff like that, but after a while it's gotten much easier. You don't sound pathetic though, it's understandable. Also remember to take rejection lightly; it's going to happen at some point so it's best not to get hung up on that (not to sound like a pessimist or anything)

Don't try to make it too obvious, though. Hang out with her friends, friends of friends and crap. And make casual talk.

Chicks talk, seriously, so you gotta make sure, at least, that none of her friends have you (or sometimes your friends) on their hate list.

Just be friendly toward all girls you encounter, and you'll probably get a good idea of how they feel towards you through body language and stuff.

 

There's a fine line between friendly and flirty though.

You don't get a girlfriend. You earn one. Having a significant other is a privilege.

well to Start off, you probably have a crush right? ask her out. at the date be sure to notice signs (laughs at everything you say, "accidentally" touches you etc.)

 

then, make sure to go for the kiss when the moments right. it's probably easiest at the end of the date. just grab her hands and put them around your neck. then put your hands on her waist and go for the kiss. make sure you always look her in the eyes while you position her arms and your hands and close your eyes while kissing. if she interrupts you and she doesn't want to kiss you or if you bitch out and don't do anything(which is even worse), don't loose hope . you can also kiss her on the second date if there is gonna be one. some girls don't kiss on the first date ( but even if they say so, they sometimes still do it and by sometimes I mean like 90% of the time)

 

it's essential to kiss her on the first date or second date or you might end up in the friendzone. trust me I've been there. also, if she does try to friendzone you, tell her that you're not interested in being just friends with her and completely distance yourself from her. if she comes back to you, you won, and if she doesn't you still won because 1. you tried and won't have regrets and 2. because you won't have to put up with the friendzone

 

another important thing is that you have to be yourself. don't try to impress her. if she's into something you don't like, don't say "ah, yeah that's great" tell her that you're not into whatever that is. girls notice when you try to hard and they'll think that you're just a bitch who isn't confident enough to express his real opinion .

 

P.S.:I'm currently in a relationship with my crush and it's awesome
