PS3. Never used a PSP.

No love for the PS3?

I picked PSP. Something about KH seemed right at home on handhelds, and as much as I love KH2, BBS reinvigorated my love for the franchise.

Andrew had PS3 up but he must have accidentally removed it when he edited the poll.

Fair enough. I'd probably give PS3 the edge, because dem graphics, but if ever it gets ported to the Vita...

I agree it should be on Vita but I can't see them porting it to the Vita now.

It's a pipe dream, but they know the demand is there. Maybe after the dust settles from KH3 (quite frankly I'm amazed they're still planning on continuing the franchise after that, but regardless) although then it becomes a matter of how viable the Vita is on the market, with ~5 years of less-than-optimal sales.

The PS Vita will probably be dying at that point, even in Japan. But at that stage they would probably be porting 1.5 & 2.5 to PS4 & Xbox One so who knows. Sony might have a new handheld at that point.

ALL OF THEM! Nah, PS3 because that is where I played the final mixes for the first time :D

Both of them work.Personally I like the 3DS more than the others, it feels cool to have it there for some reasons.

These numbers! It is exactly why in my opinion KH is it's best on consoles.

PlayStation 2, definitely. Three of my favorite games in the series (Including my two favorites) were on the system, and I've spent more time playing the KH games on my PS2 than any other console. Not to mention KHFM was underwhelming compared to what I expected it to be.

You're going by English (US), Andrew is from England so he is under English (UK) so it's "favourite".

I personally love all of the consoles because each game was made to utilize each system to the best of their capabilities. However, if I had to pick, I'd ultimately go for the PS3. It just feels so satisfying to play Kingdom Hearts as a 7th Gen game, even though it's just a reworked version of original 6th Gen games. My only regret is that we never got a PS3 exclusive original title (or Days/Re:Coded remake), that would have been an interesting showcase of KH on PS3 capabilities but oh well, those models in the cutscene archives look pretty amazing. If I had to pick others, I guess my preference goes by 3DS, PSP, PS2, DS, and GB in descending order. The 3DS just feels so good as it nearly matches the quality of the PS2 series as well as brings the element of 3D to the franchise. The PSP also works best for similar reasons to the 3DS, as well as just feeling natural to have KH on a Sony system again. The PS2 is always a classic and there's nothing better than having the sheer power of a home console to dish out your epic story. The DS while not as revolutionary as later systems was still an amazing step up in the series and it did an amazing job with what it had, it's probably as close to a PS1 Kingdom Hearts that we'll ever get. The GB I have to admit I don't touch it much anymore these days, but it was still interesting to have the story of Kingdom Hearts continued in a portable handheld for a time, and those 2D sprites were quite charming (but when I want to re-experience the story, I typically go for the PS2 version). All of these consoles had their advantages and disadvantages, but the KH team always managed to make each game use each system to the best of their ability, which makes each and every system worth holding onto for years to come, even with the HD ReMIXes.  :D  <3

edit: Oh yeah! I almost forgot about PC! I haven't had much experience with X, but from the little I've played and everything I've seen from Everglow, it looks really fun and addicting. I just hope they make an English version of it soon so that many more fans in the world can enjoy it in the way that they should be.  :3

I don't really see the point of people not preferring PS2 and PS3.

I mean, portable games are great for a change but, like watching movies on smartphones, I prefer to get the full details on a bigger screen.

It's impossible to catch all the details on a portable device and the controls are limited as well.

As for Ps2 and Ps3, PS3 wins clearly due to HD.

To me, this looks like people preferring the original GameBoy over a 50" HDTV and PS3.

Especially with Blu-ray as a medium, games are made to be enjoyed on a big screen as a major entertaining system rather than a small portable screen that does not clearly show the difference between 560i and 1080p.

Besides, as was with ReCom compared to the GBA version and more drastically the new BbS in HD, it is easier to have a controller that is not integrated in the screen.

At least for me, adjusting myself to a comfortable position away from the console and screen is important rather than clasping the screen, controller and maybe even a second screen.

Don't get e wrong, Pokemon works perfectly on the 3DS but not so much for action-based combat and exploring with much details and precise platforming.

Playstation 2 for KHI, KHII, and Re:CoM.

And also... shouldn't a cell phone also be a choice here, for those who played the original Coded and that kinda thing, I mean? Just wondering:)

PS2/PS3 since they basically have the same games. But HD.

PS2, where it all began. If I had a PS3 and played the HD Collections, though, I'm sure I'd be inclined to pick that option instead.

3DS. I liked the gameplay on DDD a lot.

PS3 forever and ever. It's like PS2, but better.

So yeah.

To me, the PS2 is the greatest console of all time overall. But to play KH it would most defineatley be the PS3. For fans in the West it's the first time to play the Final Mixes and BBS on console.
