When someone goes out of their way to do you great bodily harm, not to mention committing several near-atrocities upon the different worlds which endanger the lives of thousands, I think Sora is more than justified in not being overly concerned about the feeling's of the Organization members.

Remember, the game literally starts out with telling him that the Organization is a bunch of soulless monsters who only want to do him harm. Nobodies don't really exist at all.

Yesterday when I was playing in Olympus Coliseum. Sora just says "You're bizarre." to Demxy and I was like.damn, didn't remember this one.

 

But I rather this Sora than the stupid one in KH3D. To make Riku seem cooler, square just made Sora much dumber there.

You have to understand how screwed up Sora is by KHII. Not only were his memories essentially taken out and put back in, but yeah, he has Roxas influencing what he feels, too. So, it's possible Roxas' anger at the Organization messed with Sora a little bit, too. In the manga, however, Sora showed sorrow for killing Demyx, so I'm going to assume he did feel some sadness, it just wasn't portrayed in the game itself. And remember, it was Yen Sid who told him to be wary of Nobodies and that they'd deceive him.

 

And don't forget, when he was told that Nobodies could grow hearts, (DDD) he got angry because he realized what had happened. Even then, though, the Organization had to be put down. Regardless of if Demyx or Zexion weren't actually 'bad guys', (I'd argue that Zexion is amoral, but that's besides the point) he and the rest of the Nobodies needed to be stopped.

I did notice that too, like Sora was just a dick to Demyx. I mean out of all the Organization members, Demyx posses the smallest threat but Sora had no mercy for him.

The Organization's motives are sympathetic; their actions are not. Here are a few of their transgressions, in no particular order:

 

-Released Heartless into countless worlds with the full intent of killing as many people as possible so they'll get Sora's attention.

-Tried to manipulate Beast into becoming a Heartless by using bargaining chips against him: Belle, one of the few who cares about Beast and is a Princess of Heart to boot; and the rose, which is the only thing standing between Beast and getting his life back.

-Stole a possessed treasure with no regards to the curse it would bring to Port Royal.

-Threatened Namine with eternal loneliness and possibly death if she didn't completely wreck Sora's memories to suit their needs.

-Created Riku Replica to kill Riku/take his place, and then mock him for failing at it and being a fake.

-Consistently lie to and backstab each other when it furthers their plans. Pretend or no, Axel's grin when he burned Vexen alive did not earn him hero points.

-Manipulated Sora's Nobody into collecting hearts for them and keeping him in the dark about who he is so he'll be a good little mindless worker.

-Created Xion into sapping/stealing powers of Roxas didn't work out.

-Absolutely do not care when one of their own dies; some wave it off or are even glad.

-Mock, belittle, and harm Sora and his friends every chance they get.

 

And that, ladies and gentleman, is why Sora did not show them any mercy. If Demyx is your trump card then you're willfully ignoring the other 11 members who are total threats and who are assholes. Plus not even Demyx was sad at all when the ones at Castle Oblivion died -- shows how much he cares.

 

Oh, let's not get started on how DDD said they can regrow their own hearts. Not only is Sora understandably pissed that they've been deceived, to me it also shows the Organization is more than capable of doing what they did even with hearts. Some of them were assholes before they became Nobodies. All the experiments on the darkness in peoples' hearts that caused their hearts to collapse? And using that process to create the Emblem Heartless, adding to an already bad problem with the Purebloods? And banishing their mentor and king to rot in the Realm of Darkness when he tried to stop them? You don't need to be malicious to be a villain. You just need to do bad things, which the Organization does in spades. Roxas and Xion are the freaks of the group.

 

it makes me wonder if actually getting their hearts back would've been worth it. With hearts to feel guilty with, they'd have to live with all the damage they caused other people -- if they'd feel guilty.

 Personally, i thinkhe was justified. look at everything they did. Sure they were being used, but they still needed to be held acvountable.

 

as far as yen sid. I wouldnt have been surprised if he actually didnt know they had hearts. not a lot was actually known about them. Outside of the organization, which most was probably lies fed tothem by xemnas.

No, they made him more bubbly and childlike. There's an immense difference. There's only about three or four moments where he shows legitimate lack of intellectual capacity in that game.

Well, this says a lot, and a lot of good points.Though, personally, I think Luxord's a pretty cool guy.

As a lot of people have said.1. Sora was told by Yen Sid that Nobodies have no hearts, and therefore no remorse for the atrocities they cause. This was believed by everyone even, the Organization members themselves. The only ones who knew better where Xemnas, Xigbar and Saix.2. It's clear form the parting scene in Twilight Town and Sora feels some of Roxas' emotions. Roxas got his memories of his time in the Organization back (excluding the ones of Xion), and therefore not only realized they had to be stopped at any cost, but had reason to actively hate them, which made Sora more aggressive to toward them than he would have been.

I truly believe that, had Sora not been feeling Roxas' hatred, he still would have eliminated them out of necessity, but wouldn't have been quite so sadistic about it.
