KH3D has the hardest plot to understand ever (to me, OK?)

It was definitely, very complicated.

It was definitely, very confident.

Glad I'm not alone on this one...

No need to be so defensive.

No need to be so defensive.

Sorry, just thought everyone else had understood that...

I actually kind of understand Dream Drop Distance plot, I even understand the time travel plot especially in the beginning of the game because I knew Sora and Riku went back in time one year on the day Destiny Island was about to be swallowed by the darkness. The only thing I didn't understand was how Master Xehanort knew about the mark of mastery exam and knew Yen Sid's plan.

I'd say he didn't add the complicated plot until after KHII. This is still incredibly fitting, though.

Well, each game is complicated enough on it's own. But take into account that it also heavily relied on the rest of the series to further it's plot and....yeah, it took me a good while to really get a good grasp on it. To this day I'm still trying to figure some smaller things out, like if Country of the Musketeers is related to Disney Castle at all or not, or if there can be other methods of time travel (ie Merlin). Still, I think it's complexity that makes it so enjoyable for me! X3

I agree that the Dream Drop Distance plot was bit challenging to process the first time around, but after playing it the second time on Proud Mode, pieces began to fall into place. Unfotunately, you can't deny that there were a few plot holes left, but for the most part, those are minor issues that don't have much bearing on the story itself. And although some may say "Oh it wasn't that complicated!" Just remember that there are still fans argueing over what did and did not happen, even though the game came out nearly 3 years ago.

I got that too, but that part (which explains of) of dreams kills me (Joshua and Riku's talk)...

I saw this on tumblr today x) sums it up perfectly.

Bad Plot flavoured, or the new, and limited edition of Everyone's a Freaking Xehanort flavour? 13% darkness free, the other 7% are not guaranteed, and the total of 20% has always been a legend

Notice: These Plot Pastries are not to be eaten with Nomuralogic Latte's. Doing so, may result in a burning sensation within the brain, gravity-defying hair follicles, and an unquenchable desire to speak Japanese.
