The sooner ff15 is done, the faster they can work on kh3

Division 3 is working on KH3, not division 2.

It's still incredible how incompetent the team must be.

Not even for not being able to complete a game in almost a decade but the lack of a director who sees that their project is just too big. They should have cut content or made this into a movie years ago. They're just wasting resources, imao.

Well they rebooted the project in 2012-13. What % did they reboot it from I don't know.

The game's original director in Nomura was kicked off the team. Tabata asked you to reset the clock to when he joined the project in 2012.

I thought it was 60% complete like 6 months ago. :/

60%? Call me when it's 95%, then I will lose my shit and go hype-banana's.

55% at TGS '14.

5 months = 5%. So 3 years and 4 months before release at this rate.

Doesn't work like that.

60% thats all?

glad i moved on to other things. i mean thats terrible.

Glad they're finally moving things ahead.. 2016 im calling it. Production for the next gen reboot started in 2012, so they're making excellent progress. Squares linup is looking bright guys..

I mean it could be worse. I'm surprised it's even over half way done.

So they started from scratch? Like completely?

Oh,I though they were almost done with that game, guess not.

So they started from scratch? Like completely?

definitely not scratch. the story is stll conceptually the same, the music seems to be the same, Noctis and such still exist, ad most of the environments we've seen are still there

the combat was revamped, but not COMPLETELY changed

Fall 2016 release date confirmed.

I feel like it's worth noting that the latter half of game development tends to go much more quickly than the first. Once they stop building engines and the like, it's generally much smoother sailing, and the last bit of development isn't even MAKING the game, but QA testing it

Surprised at all the people who have no understanding here... >.>

Are you gonna post about the livestream?

Yeah, they're almost done with the engine work.
